What makes for a good all-day breakfast place or pastry café is coffee, and this place serves their signature blend tepid, probably from a Thermos, brewed hours earlier to cut costs. Nothing is worse than paying twice the price for half the quality. Dispel any romantic notions of quaintness and warmth as this café offers neither. Maybe only good for the paid website's Instagram post.

I'm not into pies so I was quite unsure on what to feel about Pi Breakfast and Pies. But turns out, they offer a lot of other stuff aside from pies-- they practically have every breakfast dish you can think of! They have pancakes and waffles, breads and pastries, corned beef, sausages, corned beef, kimchi rice (!!!), and lots of other options if you're craving for a Filipino breakfast. Their bestseller is the Caramelized Spam. I was wondering why it became their bestseller because well, it was just spam. But when I tried it, it was really good! It didn't even taste like spam anymore. Highly recommended!

Good place for weekend breakfast at the Grove by Rockwell. The Fritata was quite good with a bunch of meats and veggies and yummy cheese cooked with 3 eggs. Quite filling. The Breakfast Gumbo was good too - tomato stew with chicken and sausage and veggies topped with a poached egg. The Orange & Lime Pi provided a good sweet end to our breakfast

Perfect stop if you want a filling meal to get you through the day. i got the breakfast gumbo (Php325) which wasn't on the waiter's top 3 best sellers. great presentation - watch the hot copper skillet, and resist the urge to dig in quickly or you'll burn your tongue😉.so this dish didn't disappoint. might be a bit bland for those used to salty/bursting-in-your-mouth flavor. for me, i liked the happy mix of shrimp, sausage, chicken and small okra slices (!!!). ignore the white rice if this seems too much and you will have room for the poached egg and the tomato stew drizzle (scrape it off the bottom). Dessert: peanut butter honeycomb pie. medyo maliit ang slice but it was creamy and not too sweet. i need to walk this off. but this will definitely fuel me for the rest of my busy thursday🙃PS: forgot the restroom review - i'm all about tastefully decorated and/or immaculately cleaned restrooms. i had to opt out of their restroom because inwas on diva mode. ICY, the waiter offered their sister resto's restroom instead. Galing, not only was he attentive but he actually did cross selling of the Backyard on the other side. eh di babalik tuloy ako to try this resto next time. The bigger restroom was a lot cleaner. Happy customer finally!

Had the Eggs Sammy (salmon instead of bacon), my bfast choice oftentimes. It was delicious except that the egg was already closed to being hard boiled. No egg yolk flowed. We also tried the bacon omelette which I found to be rather oily. It could've better also if they had the bacon bits toasted to add texture to the usual omelette.Lastly, the mixed berry pancake was what I loved being a person who is watching her sugar level. It wasn't sweet--not the pancake mix nor the berries.

Disappointing. When Breakfast and Pies first opened it was wonderful. We loved it and the Eggs Benny was my favourite dish. We have been there numerous times now for breakfast, and the only reason we go these days is for the pancakes which the kids love. The quality of the food is low now, the meals are underwhelming and in my case - served cold. I guess children aren't as picky about whether their pancakes are hot or cold which is why we return, but this is the last time, I am not returning. We just went back for breakfast to give it another shot and the eggs benny was stone cold, so I sent it back, and they brought a new dish out - stone cold again. I feel so disappointed. Whoever is 'cooking' really does not understand the concept of the English Muffin. It was just placed on the plate, a thick cold blob of heavy bread with the other cold ingredients on top - even the eggs were cold, like they were precooked and put in the refrigerator to keep 'fresh' until needed. Eggs Benedict is meant to be a wonderful warm dish - cooked fresh. The muffin (or some other lovely bread) is sliced open, toasted and the hot poached eggs are on top with the ham or bacon and warm hollandaise sauce. If you are going to base a dish on a classic, do some research, even the 'fries' served with it - were cold. Over time I have tried a few different dishes there, just trying to find something that works, and it is consistently disappointing. It feels as though the love has gone out of this place, bring it back, because it is a lovely little space, the staff are friendly, and it would be so brilliant to have a decent breakfast place located at The Grove.

After joining a running event last month, we dropped by The Grove to have breakfast and ended up eating at Pi Breakfast & Pies. We just shared an order of the Beef Brisket Corned Beef and got an extra garlic rice. We also got the Champorado and a bread (Nutella Swirl). The bread was bland - didn’t really taste the Nutella filling. But they warmed it before serving so plus point for that. I didn’t like the Champorado although the serving’s big. The corned beef meal was the only thing I liked. An order is good enough to share. I didn’t find anything special about it but it’s worth a try. If ever we’ll be back there, I’d like to try the caramelized spam.

Typical breakfast place that tries to carve a name for itself by unique dishes. However, they fall short of delivering taste-wise. Pies are nothing special, neither. Sorry but I don't get the hype

I was quite excited to try out Pi Breakfast and Pies ever since seeing it on a feature on TV and because I was also craving for some good breakfast food.My boyfriend ordered Pork and Beans, while I ordered the Beef Sirloin Tapa. We also ordered a plate of their banana Nutella cream cheese waffles.I might have expected to much since when our orders came, they were just served on big, heavy, ceramic plates but the servings were quite small, considering it's a breakfast plate. Anyhow, I still gave the food a chance. We tasted the pork and beans and it was nothing special and the beans were cooked in spices that I didn't quite like. As for the beef sirloin tapa, it was good, but I've had better tapas in the past and there really wasn't a lot of beef on my plate. The waffles were the savior of the whole breakfast experience though. Although, I wish they had spread out the cream cheese more throroughly as I did not taste any cream cheese on the waffles since they were all in on side. They were very generous with the Nutella though. So plus points for that.

Still indecisive whether to go on a Keto diet or not but if all meals taste like this, surely ill go all out.Nice little resto tuck at the back of The grove. Ambience is good but serving is quite slow so a lot some time specially if you’re going in big groups. (Seems like the limited space in the kitchen prevents them from cooking multiple meals at the same time?
