Third stop for our Estancia Mall, Capitol Commons food crawl. Our next restaurant is PBCo. which actually means Peanut Butter and Co. Me and my friends decided to try out their Peanut Butter infused burgers. We had their Sloppy Burger P245.00 and Bacon Cheeseburger P285.00. I really loved the peanut butter twist on the burger. It is actually delighting though there are some parts of the burger that I cannot taste peanut butter. Lunchtime | Estancia Mall, Capitol Commons To indulge on a proven, satisfying meal at a familiar place? or try something new? THAT is always a gamble but the journey is more important than the risks for the website.I saw a not so busy line at the PBCo. The staff / greeter was very friendly and suggested things on the menu. Nice, clean, colorful interiors, plenty of electrical outlets, great looking food and wifi; an attraction for people who want to dine and get some work done. I got my place for the next hour. "Everyday Happy Food"Says the tagline. PBCo. has a simple yet interesting concept --- peanut butter and it's influence on the menu. The place is well stocked with different variants of this spread. Thinking about it, peanut butter does conjure up happy memories of childhood and adult life. You'll find it hard to associate this spread with a sad thought, right? Yeah! Time to order....I requested for the Country Chicken Steak with rice for my main, the Basil Lemonade (blended drink) and Marshmallow Ice Cream for my dessert. BASIL LEMONADE (P85)I took a sip and liked it immidiately. It lived up to the promise. Juuusst right in acidity too unlike some lemonade concoctions that make the back and sides of your tounge, tingle. COUNTRY CHICKEN STEAK (320)The breast fillet was marinated with peanut butter sauce in the cooking process. The portion served was generous and the milk gravy on top looked appetizing. The taste had the undertones of peanut butter of course; which went well with the breading.... but not so much the fillet itself. The flavor of the fillet was lacking an "eat me with gusto" quality. I hope there's an option to serve the chicken in a more juicy state with a bit more dominant salt and hint of spice. MARSHMALLOW ICE CREAM (P165)Juuust right.  Not too sweet and a play on the proven formula. I like it! Dominant, generous Ice Cream with peanut butter syrup. They complement and complete each other like lovers going steady. In conclusion, this was an okay experience. I was underwhelmed at the Country Chicken Steak but maybe it just needs another version without deviating from the concept of PB. The recommended drink and dessert was nice enough. The friendly staff were knowledgeable and served with a smile. I got some work done too because of the wifi. I guess I'll be open to the idea of coming back here again in the future.

Country Chicken SteakMac & Three CheeseService was excellent and the staff were friendly, approachable, and accommodating. The Mac & Cheese was delicious but the cheese was too subtle. The crumbs gave the dish another texture that made it quite exciting, but it was somehow boring.Wasnt able to taste the Chicken Steak but it looked appetizing, but my friend wasnt able to finish it. The mashed potato looked stiff.

If you love peanut butter as much as I do, you have to check out PBCo. Almost everything, if not all of their dishes, have peanut butter in it. Got to try their Bacon Cheeseburger (PBCo burger with double smoked bacon, american cheese, lettuce and tomato) and Sloppy Joe Burger (tribute to the All-American favorite "Sloppy Joe's" topped onto a quarter lb burger patty) with a hefty serving of fries on the side. I enjoyed both burgers. I suggest that they smother more peanut butter for a more distinct taste. With modern interiors and soft lighting, this place shouts cozy! I can spend hours working here. Service is awesome. Staff are really friendly and accommodating. Next time I'll try their waffle toasts, stuffed french toast, signature meals and other sandwiches and burgers!

We went to PB Co; it was my first time at a PB Co branch. The place is designed in a modern industrial setup with one segment of the dining area elevated and accessible by a short set of stairs (possibly part of the design and for some privacy). You order at the counter then they bring the food to you. PB stands for Peanut Butter which is their main product. They sell various flavored peanut butter in jars near the counter. They put peanut butter on everything! for better or for worse, I have to say. We tried their burgers because we thought they would be most challenging to incorporate peanut butter in. The following are the burgers we tried and my comments:Sloppy Burger -smothered with Sloppy Joe, Chili Peanut Butter, Cheese, Lettuce and Tomato. It was good at first but then I noticed the peanut butter. It's really not for me. Why they have Chili Peanut Butter in the first place is really weird (for me).Bacon Cheeseburger -Topped with Bacon, Sesame Peanut Butter, cheese, lettuce and tomato. It was okay. The patty wasn't anything special nor the whole burger. I did taste the peanut butter and it wasn't as bad a match as with the Sloppy Burger.I think PB Co has gone over the limits of peanut butter and should focus on pastries and more traditional sandwich recipes with peanut butter. In my opinion, PB Co can be transformed into (or should have been in the first place) a coffee, sandwich and dessert place with majority (but not all) of their pastries having peanut butter. I am not a peanut butter fan and that is probably a big factor in my review; so I will let others who like peanut butter judge the future and limits (or no limits) of PB Co. and their peanut butter.

Chicken batter was so thick & chicken piece inside was so thin that it dried up pretty quick. Pasta Diablo didn't have enough the heat that i'm looking for. Who would have thought cherry + peanut butter is actually good

Me again, trying another place just for a burger. Pbco is all about adding a kick of peanut butter in all of their dishes. The sloppy burger, which wasn't sloppy at all had that sweet aftertaste. It's definitely a new idea.

I like the ambiance of this place. Looks clean & inviting. They have a wide variety on their menu so I was excited to have a taste. As of now I've cut so much sugar out of my diet so some of the signature dishes like the peanut butter sandwiches and hamburgers I wasn't able to try. However I did order the Diablo pasta and the country fried chicken steak. The staff were very helpful and they displayed a pleasing personality. Knowledgeable about their menu & explained dishes clearly. The Diablo pasta was very good. I like the texture of the sauce and the pasta. The taste was also good and the spice was just right. The chicken fried country chicken steak however was a bit dry and I thought the gravy would offset it but my taste buds noticed it.Nice place to for casual dining. Wouldn't necessarily go back regularly but it is an option to keep.

Tried this with a friend out of curiosity. PB in PBco means Peanut Butter, and they put PB in almost everything in their menu- literally! So out of curiosity we tried some of their recommended items on the menu and here's what I have to say:The PLACE: Good. Located near the escalators, you wouldn't miss this place. It's cozy, clean and inviting and perfect for get togethers or simple chit chatting with family and friends.4/5The FOOD: Great! Though we only tried a few but will definitely go back for more. Try their Country Style chicken and Grilled Chicken quesadilla- heaven!!! Also their Pumpkin soup is simple the best! What else can I say? 5/5The PRICE: Just right. For the food quality and unique PB concept, the price is A-OK. 4/5The SERVICE/PEOPLE: We were greeted by warm staff, and even made us try their different PB! The White Chocolate Peanut Butter is the best among what we tried. And they always answer our queries with a smile. Awesome crew! 5/5Overall-
