I can say that to date,  the family has yet to find an alternative to Pancake House. We simply love their pancakes/waffles with country sausage on the side, along with everything else in their menu....

Their pancakes are still one of the best! Soft, moist, and fluffy, just the way I like it.Their fried chicken is also underrated. It's easily in my top 5. I've also tried their arroz a la cubana numerous times and every try tastes as good as the last one. Their banoffee pancake is also good!I was bit disappointed with their roast beef, though. It could be because we went there at 10 in the evening but the meat was so dry and the gravy has congealed already. Not trying that again.

I ordered a chef's salad for lunch. Most of the leaves were withered. At first, I was just removing the ones I wouldn't like to eat. Lo and behold, under the huge pile of lettuce, the leaves were black. As in black. The manager, through a wait staff offered me soup but I declined. I just wanted to eat my salad. The manager didn't even show himself/herself.Moral of the story, do not eat salad here. Expensive na, super bad quality pa.

Let us get straight to the point. I can eat Pancake House's Chicken everyday 'coz its really savory and very large serving.While the buttered gravy is so good and not too oily to be eaten. The chicken is very crunchy, crispy and tasty and the meat is really tender.

Our dining experience is fine although refills are very slow since there are only 2 servers available. Today's chicken serving time was the fastest in all branches and I appreciate it.

Food is still consistently good. Had the tocilog set and it was simple but filling. Also tried the new Holiday Bibingka Pancakes and it was a nice twist for the Christmas season with quezo de bola, salted egg, butter, grated coconut and muscovado sugar. But on a regular day I still prefer my favorite cheese waffle with whipped butter.They really are the first place when you think about breakfast because they’re open early, serve assorted (all day) breakfast dishes and parking is convenient at the basement of Estancia mall.The place is pretty cramped though especially when filled with customers. Tables are too close to each other IMO.This branch is still on the Eatigo app so yehey for that even if we only got 10% as that was the available timeslot. On other days / times you can get as much as 50% off your food bill. Though small, 10% is still better than no discount at all. FYI, Holiday pancakes and drinks like coffee are excluded. (Eatigo is a discount reservation app that is totally free to download and use, feel free to input my referral code EatigoRia if it’s your first time to sign up to get extra credits/points).And while we appreciate that the servers were pleasant and enthusiastic (always smiling), the service itself can be improved on. We were a group of 4 pax. I had to ask 3 times to follow up for my extra butter for the Bibingka Pancakes. By the time the butter arrived, the pancakes weren’t hot enough anymore for the butter to melt so we didn’t finish the butter nor the pancakes, in short, nasayang. Also, I had asked for whipped butter (like the one that comes with the waffles), I even pointed to the photo of it in the menu when I ordered, to which the server nodded with agreement, but only regular butter arrived. Our orders arrived at different times, and not in the order they were taken. My friend who arrived earlier, had her breakfast plate served way later than the one who arrived late. My friend who ordered waffles had to wait even longer, most of us were halfway thru eating our orders, when they explained something about a problem in the kitchen (or the waffle maker, I forgot the reason given). Then there was an error in our bill too, which we had to follow up more than once, so that took some time again to resolve. Good thing that although some of us were in a hurry to get to our next appointments, it was a Christmas breakfast get-together so we used the delay as an excuse to stay together longer. But still putting these comments here as (hopefully) helpful feedback for the branch.

I love pancake house, it’s somehow my comfort place whenever. But last night was not good for me and my mom. Food was good but there was oil and water on my plate. I hope you check before serving the food. The food must look appetizing or drooling right? And the service is really bad. I have to wait to get their attention. I’m not even sure if there’s a manager present with 2 or 3 service staff. One man on floor, two were in the counter. Which is first, service or cleaning/bussing tables? And you don’t even smile, i feel unwanted to be here. I also work in this industry i hope you get more training for alertness of your guests needs. Or maybe you just simply have to love your job. Its sad. I hope IF i go back, the service improves. I love pancake house don’t let service ruin your great food.

Usually, we’re all praises when it comes to Pancake House. They’ve got great food, good healthy choices and not that pricey for such. However, is their Estancia Mall branch in the same league as those really good Pancake Houses? Let’s sift through the details. First of all, Estancia Mall is a relaxing mall. Although it’s more on the high-end/upper midrange when it comes to the stores, it doesn’t even have a Jollibee in it, strolling about is a nice relaxing therapy. Pancake house is located outside, near the garden area at the back.

I’ve always been a regular customer of Pancake House. When I became a food blogger, I appreciated more the brand as I went behind the scenes, getting to know more about the culture and their extensive research and development. PA new product is coming in soon, and it’s something that will elevate your comfort food even more. Souffle Pancakes arrives stores on Valentine’s day, a fluffy and more creamy treat for you and your loved ones. Before you enjoy your dessert, I suggest having other Pancake House specialties. The best selling Pan Chicken is available at 2 or 3 pieces, and I jumped in and had a trio of their citrusy and tasty take on fried chicken.Another worth indulging in is the Taco Salad. It has a mountain of greens, diced chicken, chips, and salsa on a giant taco shell. If you want a light meal, this is it. On this visit, I also had the classic Banana Walnut Pancake. It’s not sweet, and the pancakes were melt in your mouth. The plate was good for two, but I finished it all by myself.

Second time that I tried pancake house.We ordered Hamburger steak special set, roast beef special set and carbonara.Hamburger steak special set comes with rice, mixed vegetables, gravy, spaghetti and iced tea. The meat was tender, just the right taste and perfect with the gravy. The spaghetti was pretty good but it kinda has a diluted sauce.Roast beef set comes with a Caesar salad, mixed veggies and iced tea. The beef has a pretty good taste, I love the tenderness of the beef.The carbonara was kind of salty.
