I ordered the kimchie fried rice and the spicy chiken noodle soup! Both were good and had enough serving for its price. Don’t expect for lots of banchan dishes because it isn’t a traditional korean restaurant. I enjoyed their kimchi and raddish though. Also ate here on a rainy day so the hot soup was just perfect for the weather. I don’t know about the chicken but I’d go for the spicy soups and pair em with some cold soju or beer to top your korean dining experience!

I like the fried chicken and the of course the super tasty Agujjim with monkfish. The leftover sauce we asked the kitchen to make it for Kimchi Fried Rice and it was also delicious.Nothing Fancy just good comfort food

Note: This review is long overdue.Noriter Chicken and Beer may not look like the usual Korean restaurant, like a BBQ place, but it is Korean. Confused? Well, allow me to explain.Chicken and beer is synonymous in Korean food culture. With the huge popularity of Korean food in the Philippines, it has become popular amongst a few people already. Chicken and beer in Korean is known as chimaek. It is mainly done amongst a group of friends when eating and hanging out. Since Filipinos already love doing that, it’s easy to see why it has become popular. Instead of the usual sisig and beer, it’s chicken and beer. Now, let me admit, I don’t drink. I have drank before, but in most cases, my body cannot hack alcohol. As much as I would like to, I don’t. It’s complicated. A love-hate relationship with my body. Lol! I am 100% sure though that I love and enjoy Korean fried chicken. I can imagine it with beer, and it really makes sense.Again, I will admit that I haven’t had the chicken minus the beer at Noriter. The reason is, I was a solo diner when I visited and dined there. Everything on the menu was literally for sharing. There’s only a certain time of day in which they have solo meals, but I didn’t know about how they did things, and didn’t arrive at the hours in which the solo meals were available. So instead of walking out and finding another place to eat, I asked what I could order and possibly finish myself as I did have a hefty appetite and felt like I was starving. The servers gladly pointed out several options, which were good for about 2 people. So, I ended up ordering a bowl of Spicy Jjolmyen as I do love Korean noodle dishes. Translation, Spicy Cold Chewy Noodles is exactly what I ordered. It’s actually much like a salad as it has no soup. Also it has vegetables only, an egg, but no meat. The spicy flavor that it has comes from the gochujang paste. There’s also a fair bit of tanginess in it, which I believe comes from a fair bit amount of vinegar which is the liquid, making things mix easier since there’s no soup. And with how cold the entire dish is, everything blends well, balancing each other out.Food: 2.0 – I did enjoy the 1 dish I had. I just really wish that they kept the solo meals available all day. I know that chicken and beer in Korean food culture is meant for groups. What of solo diners? 99.9% of the time, Noriter will only cater to those groups? I’m sure there’s more than a 0.1% of a solo diner walking in.Price: 4.0 – The prices at first may seem steep, but everything on the menu is really for groups. So, it’s worth it.Ambience: 4.0 – Noriter is really a laid back place for groups and barkads to hang and enjoy food. No bar area that I saw, but with the low lighting in some areas, one might think that they’re in one.Service: 4.0 – Service is quick as the servers are very attentive, even refilling my complimentary popcorn snack when I was running out. Or maybe it was the Korean owner watching his customers like a hawk, telling his servers what to do.As I dined here, there was a group of at least 8 dining close to my table. The chicken that they ordered did look very good, and I even heard them compare it to other fried chicken places, and they are quite pleased with Noriter’s chicken. No doubt, I will come back, and not alone. But if I do, there’s always take-out.

Got this for lunch.Sobrang tagal. As in ang taaaaaagaaaaaaaaaaaal.Food? Nothing extraordinary for their price. Nag-JTs n lang sana ako, katapat lang ng location nya sa Meralco Ave :)2 kasi masarap naman, najustify naman yung spicy soy garlic. Just be ready to wait for 30minutes

The food is acceptable (we ordered seasoned fried chicken) , but customer service is absolutely deplorable. Our waitress told us told us that serving time for our order was 10-15 minutes, but we ended up waiting a bit more than 30 minutes before it arrived. Only after we were served did they tell us of the reason (that the cooks made sure "it wasn't bloody"). It showed that 1) there is no communication between kitchen staff and waiting staff (waiting staff were not informed of any changes), and 2) there is no communication between waiting staff and customers (they told us of the reason too late). Ironically, the waiter and waitress were very talkative towards one another. It was very difficult to call them, as they were minding their own business, so we had to go to the counter for help. Imagine, there were only three or four tables to wait on, but it was still difficult to reach them! Lastly, upon giving a 1000php bill to pay for our 550php worth of food, we were asked if we had extra smaller bills. Smaller bills??? I understand if PUV's ask for smaller bills, and I already expect convenience stores and even fast food places to do the same, but this is the first time that a restaurant so expensive to eat in would ask for smaller bills. It is always a custom for me to leave at least a 50php tip, whether or not there is a service charge, but since they decided it would be easier to give me a 500php bill for my change, I decided not to leave them a tip. They do not do their job, anyway. The ambience of the restaurant was appropriate enough, and as mentioned the food turned out okay. But many restaurant managers forget that a huge part of the dining experience is SERVICE towards its customers. As I have a fairly large network of Korean expats in the area, I will recommend that they and my other local friends avoid this place for the time being.

We got a bunch of dishes to share for our team dinner. But before that, you’ll be served popcorn as ‘appetizers’. I think is refillable, just ask the servers to refill it for you.Our order was a mix of Soy Garlic Chicken, Seasoned Chicken, Bacontato, Kimchi Jjige Anju and Fried Bacontato. For the chicken dishes, I like the soy garlic flavored one better than the seasoned chicken. I appreciate its simple taste, making it good to eat with or without rice. The seasoned chicken only tastes good when partnered with rice because its saucy outside is just too much. I also liked the bacontato but it was a little cloying once you’ve had a lot. The kimchi jjigae is like the seasoned chicken - better with rice.Noriter also sells soju bottles. Our team got one bottle of soju and a can of Sprite to go with it. We were also served a shot of pure calamansi juice. Apparently, soju + calamansi + Sprite makes a good combo.
