I went over reviews in website before deciding to have dinner here. It had mixed reviews. So do I. Upon entering I was impressed with the interior. It was clean and had a nice touch of Japanese mural. It's a special look for the Metrowalk area. For everything me and Maloushky had, it was a bargain at Php 1,018. All dishes they served were generous. Mixed Sashimi had an overwhelming presentation on a boat. The cuts were bigger than usual and it was fresh. New raw is the primary basis for great sashimi. The Sukiyaki had so much lean beef in it. The noodles were slippery good. The soup and mushroom though was sour. We weren't able to finish this. The Chicken Teriyaki Bento was also a good value with matching Miso soup, vegetables, sashimi, California Maki sushi and a nice crispy flavored-filled chicken. Not a lot of favorite places in Metrowalk. This place though earns my nod.

The interior design was very consistent with their Japanese theme. I believe it managed to set itself apart from many other "authentic" Japanese restaurants/bars by giving a more retro feel rather than a classical Japanese ambiance. The food and drinks were on par for the price. Those looking for truly Japanese cuisine should look elsewhere, but again, it's likely that most people don't go to this area for such. Aside from the design, the real winner (or winners) are the delightfully friendly staff. They deserved every piso of our big tip. Hope there would be a more robust selection of sake in the future!

Whether you're looking for a good chow or a relaxing place for a night cap, Nommu has got you covered. Conveniently located in the heart of Pasig that is Metrowalk, everyone's ensured to have a fine time! What I specifically love about this resto is the abundance of choices in their bar list and chows. Indulge in the platters for they not only offer great value for money but also satisfying in the belly! Since I'm not a fan of raw food, I always go for the Yakitori platter! But for my family who loves raw food, the Nommu Festival is always a top choice. You can also custom your dips, but my all time favorite is the Wasabi Mayo. It goes perfectly well with the Yakitori.Of course a Japanese resto won't be legit without the Ebi Tempura. The light crisp batter is just perfection. For those who are looking for Filipino dishes, fear not as they have the usual local chows. They have also made well use of their space with great interiors. Crisp manly details for that relaxing atmosphere. And since I am a bourbon drinker, glad to know they have affordable bottles ranging from P1600-P2650. One JD please! For those on a budget, I saw go for the beer and chow package which comes with 6 beers and 1 bar chow for only P330! Awesome deal!

I never really enjoyed their food because I was too focused on our beverages though this review is all about their service. They have mean service crew members. I left my almost not touched packet of cigars on the table when I left for the toilet and when I came back poof they said they threw it away because it was empty. That's mean and horrible, I wonder if someone left their phone or any valuable stuff🙄. Dishonesty alert.

So far so good. Enjoying their japanese style tokwa't baboy. Big servings and perfect for my taste. Trying also their happy hour buy 1 take 1 cocktails.
