Great selection of ramen and presents a creative variety of Japanese comfort food. Must try for any website looking for something new and exciting.

In Japanese Nomama means "That's it".  That's it! We had Pork Tonkatsu and their specialty the Nomama Ramen. Though pricing is a bit on the high side,  the serving was big and good for 2 persons.  The restaurant's minimalist ambiance is nice for "nagfe-feeling sosyal".  I will definitely go back.

Found next to Black Olive and Tipsy Pig at Capitol Commons, I decided to try this new ramen place. I must say that there is quite a lot of dining space in this outlet, with a dining area available on an upper floor, and even outdoors. Not on the menu posted, but on a table display, I ordered a vegetable ramen. I found the consistency of the noodles to my liking, not the usual 'soft' and 'spongy' default ones typically served in other places. The broth was just a tad lacking in saltiness but the serving size was just right (I ordered the bigger bowl). With ramen, I actually enjoy my noodles more than the broth, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that my noodles weren't drowning in the bowl, and the tamago, in my book, was perfectly executed! Since I was not particularly hungry that day, that was all I ordered, but I studied the menu and found so much more vegetable options available, which I will definitely try next time!Update: I just ate here again last week, and I was hungry this time. I thought the serving sizes were a bit on the lean side, considering I ordered the big bowl. It's a good thing the additional small bowl at the promo price of P1.00 just barely got me there.

Fast service. Okay food. Bit disappointed with the soft shell crab salad. They have big servings so you're good to share with friends. My daughter and husband loved the tonkatsu, which was better than the other katsu restos.

If your hungry don't eat here! 25 mins wait. Kitchen understaffed but the waiter will ask you if you want your food delivered as soon as it's cooked or all at the same time???? we elected all at the same timeThen the food comes. Whoa! The servings are almost for two people. We ordered the following:Twice cooked pork belly teriyaki (highly recommend if you like pork)Chili garlic glazed chicken with soy caramel (recommend with chili oil vs the powder) pumpkin and mash potato surprised me and Lesley.Prawn Tempura (batter tastes phenomenal)Careful on the rice! 60 bucks a pop!Ambiance is good, alfresco for smokers and pet lovers.Priceeeey!! But good food.

If you have tried many ramen restaurants, Nomama Artisanal Ramen should be less what you're expecting. Their Tantanmen is more of a Laksa/curry spicy fusion.

Nomama served good food but did not live up to our expectations. We started off with mushroom and pork gyoza which were delicious. The salad was good. Their tofu fries were not bad as well. As for their namesake ramen, it was okay. However, I personally preferred their thai green curry ramen.

Nomama’s closure in the Scout area of Quezon City kind of makes me sad, because it is destination restaurants such as these that help define neighborhoods. But what is Quezon City’s loss is Pasig’s gain, and Nomama at Capitol Commons will do its part in defining that neighborhood. The gray industrial look complements the chef patron’s inventiveness with Japanese fusion. The first time I went in was for an in-house organized quiz night, and we tried a number of interesting things. The clear winner for me that night was a tortilla appetizer with an edamame dip. I enjoyed this very very much. My friend then ordered a noodle dish with seawood and sous vide egg, which, unfortunately, I did not try. We also had a tofu steak with bonito flakes – reliable, as was a tori karaage dish with crunchy chicken. Nomama continues tweaking its dishes, as good restaurants should. It delivers the right kind of ambience for its beautifully presented creations, but I do leave this place wishing there was a little bit more to their food.

Late post: I Loved the junior-sized nomama ramen. Good fusion of savory flavors in a small bowl. Will definitely have the bigger bowl next time. Reasonably priced for a generous mix of ingredients.

After 30 minutes of waiting for my Tantanmen, the waiter gives me chips. I'm like, "Why?" He said they forgot to send my order to the kitchen. Not recommending this place to anyone. Weak-class service. Maybe because the waiter was too busy checking out some of their good looking guests.
