Their fresh prawn dumpling with angsho beef and lechon macau are the deadliest combo! Definitely a must try along with siopao and fried sharksfin!

When hungry and craving for chinese food, this place hits the spot. It isn't cheap by most people's standards, but it isn't absurdly expnesive either. Staple order is Lechon Macau over fried rice. Never fails. :DKikiam is also great. :)

I love Next Door Noodles by North Park. It's my go-to place for comfort Chinese food. The best part is that Next Door Noodles is open 24/7.I have stumbled in a good number of times after a night out, and from smudged mascara and high heels on some of the other customers, it seems other people had the same agenda. There's nothing like a nice bowl of noodle soup after all that drinking and dancing! My staple noodle soup is the 3-kinds of Mushrooms with Wonton. I love the firmness of the Hong Kong noodle and it matches the slippery, savoury wonton and earthy mushrooms. Sometimes, I just go big and order the Beef Curry with Tendon or Lechon Macau Rice Bowl, because life is short like that. Solid eats. ;)

I've been going back and forth lately in the Home Depot area for a new shower set. Whenever am going for an errand, I also search for a place to eat. Next Door is a concept of North Park. Not much variation. I guess this highlights more their noodles. I went for their best selling Angsho which is a tomato based with beef. This alone made my trip here worthwhile. The flavor was very strong. Beef was tender and noodles were seasoned well. I also had a single serving of fresh Lumpia. It was oddly prepared for its significant size and unpresentable look. At first I thought they served me two. The taste was unimpressive as it looks. The Chicken Pao with Sausage was ordinary. Inside was a tiny ball of meat. It would have been better too if it wasn't served dry. Another point, service was at a snail pace in spite of a small crowd dining in. My food came 25 minutes after.

Their crispy noodles are such a classic! I always order it whenever I'm with a big group. The honey lemon chicken's nice, and the broccoli's lovely. The fried rice with sauce is quite something too. They serve a plate of fried rice and a bowl of sauce, and you're supposed to mix them together in your plate. It's yummy, but a little salty for my taste.
