One Saturday afternoon, we craved for Thai food but not from the usual restaurants we were familiar with (like Siamaroi and Mango Tree.) Also, we wanted to go up north for a change since recently, we have been usually just hanging out in the south area. Good thing website had a collection entitled “Terrific Thai” hence the discovery of one interesting restaurant in Kapitolyo, Pasig.

I and my hubby often eat here.Place is not big. Probably can accommodate 25 the most. They have upper level which is more comfortable than the lower. Ambience is cozy. Music playlist is updated which is just the right mix of ballads and r&b.Prices are reasonable. Servings are good for two. Flavors are great.

Thai food isn't really a favorite of mine, but I did like what we had at Nav. Aside from the relaxing ambience, the staff is quite accommodating. However, the portions were a bit small and didn't seem proportional to the prices.PICKS: Naked Pandan Chicken.  ✧

I'm so sorry but it is hard to give Nav a high rating when there's a better competitor in the vicinity. Thai Dara's offerings are (just a bit) cheaper and better tasting than Nav's. Parking is also a challenge. I will consider going back if they either improve their dishes or adjust their prices way lower than Thai Dara because honestly, Thai Dara is a runaway winner in the Kapitolyo Thai category.

I always enjoyed eating at Nav's in Megamall's upscale foodcourt. 1 of my fave Thai place. This time, we were able to pay the restaurant branch in Kapitolyo. There's limited parking space at the front but an ample parking space in the compound in Brixton Street. There were only 2 couples when we arrived. The space was cute and simple. Server girl was accommodating. They have an alternate serving version than in the menu in Sm Foodhall. I always love the Bagoong rice. Serving size was good for 2. Bagoong rice(250php) was made with their own home made bagoong. Versatile and tasty, complemented the Sweet Crispy Pork(250php) very nicely.Rice dish was served with sunny-side up egg, shredded green mangoes, pork and some onion garnish. Pork was served with cucumber garnish and homemade sweet sauce. Pork was kind overcooked for my taste. It was a satisfying meal.

After reading so many good reviews about Nav, hubby and I decided to try it out 1 time. Unfortunately, that 1 time visit is IT for us. There are better Thai restaurants with better food and customer service in the area. To be sure, the ambience and the setup of the restaurant is fancier than some of their neighbors but everything else left much to be desired.

Nav is a one of a good Thai restaurant along Kapitolyo. It can be abit confusing looking for a good place to have dinner in the area, with all the choices that floods you every few meters you travel. From the ratings here, it looked like its worth a visit. From our cravings of good curry, we tried their Red Curry with Pork & Lychees and Tom Yum Goong.Red Curry was served with thin slices of pork, lychees, some basil, and lime rind. The complexities of flavor from sweet, creamy coconut milk to the fruity, fragrant lime rind, to the spicy chilies makes you crave for more. It made me have 2 cups of rice and wanting to have a 3rd cup.Tom Yum Goong was served with 2 giant prawns and oyster mushroom. It was a perfect rainy day soup. Sour, spicy, and fragrance from lemongrass, kaffir, and cilantro balances everything.Nav may look like your ordinary Thai restaurant, but from what i've had, its one of the best in Manila. I would definitely comeback for more dishes to try.#TheFoodCrawlers #OngsFoodprints

This small resto definitely has a wide variety of Thai favaorites. I've discovered this place online, and so, for the love of Thai food, I just had to try it. :)Bringing a car may be a challenge when visiting this place, since the resto offers a very limited parking space. So, I recommend you commute going there. It's a lot more convenient and it avoids the hassle of finding a decent parking. When I entered, the place was cozy with a nice and warm ambiance. You'll definitely have that Thai feel except for the Bossa music as background music - though it was okay.I ordered my favorite Thai food which I think Nav was fairly able to capture.• Deep Fried Apahap - this dish was good but a little too pricey for just a fillet size• Pad Thai - I love the consistency of the noodles, but I think the peanuts can be a lot better• Bagoong Rice - great flavor and veggie add ons, just a little oily. But it tasted great.• Tom Yum Soup - this was my favorite here. Plus, I love the fact that there is a cannister of chili flakes ready (because I love spicy food)• Thai Iced Tea - best Thai Iced tea among all other Thai restos I've been to• Fried Stick Rice - I loved this dessert ❤️ It's like fried buchi with cream and mangoes on the sides. A must try. This is a place to be, for a budget friendly Thai food experience. Just also want to commend all the staff who were so nice and accommodating during our visit. They did a great job - which adds to the reasons why I want to go back.

This is by far, one of the most memorable — the best dining experience ever. Why? I'm with my friends (or colleagues) who are so energetic and funny. We ordered the group meal for 4 worth Php985. By the way, we had a discount when we used the Booky app. As of this writing, the Booky peeps are having a wind in social media so why not give it a try?As you can see in the photo, we did the cooking of the food. The broth (Laksa) is their bestseller and that's what we choose. To be honest, I like how generous is the serving of the seafood and veggies. The spiciness is quite over my limit since I suddenly felt a runny nose. That's my cue to stop eating spicy foods. Also we ordered additional Sweet Crispy Pork which is literally a lechon kawali version. It is nicely done so no complaints over there.Ambience is perfect, very neat decorations on the inside. Well ventilated. Accommodating, helpful and very friendly staffs. Will definitely go back here to try Pad Thai (though I know it would be different from what I tried in Thailand).
