I've been meaning to try Milky & Sunny for the longest time (meaning 3 years ago back in college) but never got around trying so. Lately though, I've heard about unpleased reviews about the place but since Kanto had this long queue this morning, girlfriend and I searched over website for which other places were open at that time. Finally this was the time to try Milky & Sunny, I thought. Either it'll prove the so-so reviews I've caught up from my friends.The place had a few tables taken when we got there. One ate, gave us the "reserved table" when we didn't seem happy with the table with just two chairs. She muttered it's just fine and'll make a way. I figured it'll be okay since she probably know what time the reservation should be.We got around choosing from their wide menu. I was pleased to see a variety of plated rice meals since I was craving for rice but was a bit disappointed when the only seafood or fish dish was the bangus. I wanted spanish sardines kasi or just a simple fish dish that's a bit too delicious to be done at home.We ended up getting the breakfast platter to share a bit since my girlfriend already had breakfast before we got there. We opted for the bacon, sausage and cornedbeef for the meat, garlic rice and sunny side up egg. I got their best seller cafe latte to pair it with. The conclusion? It's simple as it's something nearly anyone with basic cooking knowledge can whip up at home. For one, the cornedbeef was undeniably just PureFoods Corned Beef. Don't get me wrong, that's my favorite corned beef, juicy and tasty and can be easily turned however way you want. Honestly, I could make that taste a whole lot better. The garlic rice was just average, nothing remarkable. So is the bacon, which I find too thick for its kind. I like my bacon to crispy and crunchy and the perfect balance of sweet and salty. There were about 3 pieces of sausages which makes it hard for me to come up with a verdict.The cafe latte was just okay, relatively good. At least it wasn't just 3-in-1 coffee that they made look like its brewed. With the right amount of sugar, it could easily be a favorite but other than that, again, nothing special.The place has been around for a few years now and I'm hoping they could have improved their food by this time. Ambiance was kitschy, could be a place you'd want to return to if only they have better tasting food. Service, they lost about 2 groups while we were there because one group wasn't accommodated immediately since the servers were fixing the dilemma with the tables (the people who reserved the table given to us already came by while we're still eating). We've also spotted two small roaches before eating. One on the wall behind us and one under the table next to us. Will not be coming back until I've heard better from this place.

Came here to try their pancake.We ordered the Choco Banana Hazelnut Pancake!star shaped pancake with banana inside with hazelnut spread and chocolate.Presentation is niceService is okayFood taste was okayLocation is small but nice interior theme.Taste could have been better but nontheless it was alright

Well all I can say is its for breakfast, the fodds are just in the usual taste but what you'll enjoy is their interior and their cereal container
