This place is amazing.1. The ambiance would make you feel like you're actually in Japan. You would even catch yourself being surprised that you're in the heart of Ortigas once you step out of the place.2. Sushi is yum! It's weird how sushi is basically raw fish amd seafood, but somehow the sushi here tastes so fresh. The spicy salmon sashimi is a must-try. 👍3. BEST tofu steak I've ever had. The cut silken tofu wrapped in probably a thinly sliced beef belly, or maybe bacon (?) ,glazed with that sweet-savory sauce. Oh heaven. 🥰You're definitely getting your money's worth. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Ordered the tofu steak, marufuku futomaki and spicy tuna and spicy salmon. Good service and ambiance. It is quite expensive but fish is fresh

01 February 2018Thursday, 6:00PMPrivate dinner with four other guests, we ate a lot. One of the best japanese restaurants off of my must try list. What you should order:5 Shurui No Sashimi P770 - Salmon, Ika, Uni, Tuna, Shima Saba)Marufuku Roll P675Ebi Teppanyaki P595Sushi rolls are the bomb. I can’t wait to let the rest of our family to try it. Will be back soon. P.S. Forgot what to call the dessert we ordered which was delicious. Please ask whwn you visit and try it out.

I've been to Marufuku a couple of times. Kinda expensive compared to other Japanese restos but since it's just a stone's throw away from where I live, I can't complain plus food and service have consistently been very good every time we visit this place. 👌 It's always packed with patrons even during weekends. Not everybody's cup of tea but I really liked the strong earthy flavor of shitake drenched in lemon juice - if I could have red wine on my other hand :DChicken teriyaki was good and ordinary but they served it with my ideal plain rice - slightly sticky and fluffy.Grilled shrimp - the family's favorite and standard order - served with veggies and capers, the shrimps were moist and tender grilled to perfection 👍👍Ebi tempura - 5 prawns in light batter which I prefer👍👍5 types of sashimi platter - fresh tuna, salmon and uni!!! Enuf said 👏👏Grilled Pork Belly and Chicken Gizzard - ordinary yakitoriGrilled Salmon - crunchy salmon skin and soft meat. Even I hear my ears clapping on how simple the dish was and very tasty & fresh it was at the same time. 👍👍Halo-Halo - stellar milky fine shaved ice - it's the bomb! 👍👍Great Jap resto option in Ortigas!

My friend and I wanted to try Japanese restos in Ortigas. She got curious with the Marufuku Roll so I reserved a seat for weekday lunch a day prior. Service was great throughout, and our meal was good too. A serving of Marufuku Roll is already good for 3. I just added Chicken Teriyaki, which was a bit unique because it's fried. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness. The reason for not giving a perfect score is pricing. Marufuku Roll is at 675 pesos while Chicken Teriyaki is at 355, served with veggies on the side. We just had their free service tea (hot and cold). The menu says it's already VAT-inclusive and exclusive of 5% service charge.

It was our first time to come here and we were seated near the counter since there were a lot of customers dining in. Staff were friendly and accommodating.Food—sashimi and marufuku roll were good however the ramen was very disappointing and taste is a bit like instant noodles?.. On the pricey side..—I “might” not go back—

I love their Spicy Salmon Sashimi and Marufuku roll. I find them really good. Though the place is small it’s a convenient location for me. I look forward to eating here again to explore more of their finely crafted dishes.

I’m a big fan of japanese food and whenever I crave, I always see myself here in Marufuku. The spicy tuna salad is to die for! And don’t forget to try the Mango Kakigori

This restaurant has been in my radar for some time now. Decided to dine first because the line to the parking lot of megamall is hella long.Upon checking the menu, I realized that this place is EXPENSIVE. The interiors are amazing and so are the servers. They have their own parking with security.Spicy Tuna Sashimi - first time that i didn't finish a spicy tuna immediately. The fish may be fresh but the tempura bits taste stale, they also included something in the "dressing" that tasted "panis".Unidon - generous serving with the uni. The freshness of the uni is not really fresh but not fishy as well.Chicken Teriyaki - crispy skin pero sobrang nakakaumay yung lasa. First two bites was delicious, after that is just tiring.Seafood Fried Rice - nothing special, I can actually make a better one at home using store-bought chahan powder.

Was having a tough day so we decided to have one of my favorite cuisines - Japanese! Marufuku serves quality Japanese dishes but they are quite pricey. For starters we had the Spicy Salmon Salad (P440) and as you can see from the picture, they are generous with the salmon. We also had the Gyuniku Aspara Maki (P195) and Gyukushiyaki (P195) with the latter starting my wagyu cubes obsession (hee hee). We also had 5 Kinds Aburi Sushi (P250) which was okay, not too flavorful. To end our dinner we had the Coffee Jelly which was like afogato but with bits of coffee jelly 🎎
