In the realm of food & gastronomics, doing it the old fashioned way never goes out of style. Slow simmering of chicken & pork have been traditional routine in souping up authentic flavors. Ma Chicken Mami house takes pride in this by keeping it sound & fundamental. Came to know about Ma via raves of a fellow blogger. His poetry was palette rhythmic, enough to entice my curiosity. So when we embarked on one of our usual Saturday pastry explores in the c5 area, Made a sharp turn to Fun ranch... My kids were ecstatic but were bummed out as I walked into Ma Chicken Mami house. Yes, they have a branch in Fun ranch... A bit odd but who's complainin'?I got the fastfood feel & ambience as I entered, orders are placed & paid at the counter. Interiors were unique, the tables & chairs were hardwood & the designs were well thought out. Nothin' fancy but certainly gives out that old Manila throwback atmosphereTook up their best seller - The Binondo Mami (P163) & I must say that the long drive was worth the battle! Firm noodles soaked in flavorful broth enhanced by chicken strips & greens. I loved that it was a lil bit on the salty side but did not deviate from how fresh & distinct the flavor was supposed to be. Glory in a hotpot! The Pork Shu Mai (P66) were ginormous! I mistook them for cupcakes. All bulked up & packed with meat, carrots & chives, a certified mouthful! Wraps don't fall off when you bite them. The Siopao Asado (P64) were equally gigantic & pork packed! The sauce was crazy thick but not annoyingly sugary, a another good pickWe also got the Crispy pancit canton (P225) which is one of our mainstays when eating Chinese style. I liked the consistency of the noodles post being coated by the rich sauce & veggies. Not a standout but certainly a good bet. The best part about it, comes with 2 fist sized Fried bread. Yes, it's fried... & yes it's awesome! Crunchy surface, soft & fluffy inside! No need for extra carbsIt was a good venture, Taste was good as initially published. Nice joint for a quick fix. Will surely be back on my next hotpot noodle craving

Ma's Binondo Mami is a must try. Try it guys. Food is really amazing. Try shanghai rolls as well 😆Eveytime I'm in Pasig or Tiendesitas area I usually drop by Ma's Chicken House. Food is amazing.

Went solo flight going to this fine place near our Tiendesitas site after training. Been seeing positive reviews regarding this place and have been wanting to try this out.The restaurant was small and can seat roughly 30 in their air conditioned area and another 12 from al fresco. Simple modern feel with some elements of Binondo. Some feel also of North Park as they also own the place.Got:Asado Siopao (Similar taste to North Park but had no fat and loaded from the first bite! Siopao as it should be!)Ma Chicken Mami (One of the best Mami I tried, broth was a bit thick and well balanced taste of chicken and other spices added in the mix.Pros:Mami was great!Siopao was loaded and could not help to take the shot to show as proof.Cons:Menu limited, ideal for quick meals and snacksPlace needs some revamping.Overall, the food experience was great and will definitely come back for another mami fix and to try the other options in their menu.
