This where me and my fiancee love to hang out when we have the time to do so. Our favorite is the sisig and crispy pata paired with ice cold san mig light. They have outdoor seating which is a good thing since I smoke. Haven't been here for months but since I saw this listed in website will probably be heading here soon.

We only had a simple lunch of their chicken inasal and laing. The inasal was quite alright, though still several notches down from my favorite version at Aida's. The laing was so-so. Tasted too much of coconut milk rather than the gabi leaves. And way too much pork fat content. For the price we paid, I guess it was alright, not that I would be raring to return soonest  :)

A couple of friends and I went to Jay J's to unwind after a very exhausting week. We didn't really plan it, but it just so happened that it was the only place we could eat in tiendesitas given that the food stalls were closed. We had the Grilled Chicken Hita (Php 105) and the taste was so-so. It's not something I would order again in the future. We also had the Pork Sisig (Php 235) which was pretty good. I'm quite easy to please when you give me a plate of sizzling sisig so their pork sisig definitely has two thumbs up. We also had the Pinakbet (Php 175) which was also tasty but wasn't anything special. It seems very homecooked but won't leave you disappointed. As for the ambiance, the place seems like a great place to have a few drinks. It's a bit irritating that the tables upstairs were positions a bit too close together so it's hard to get in and out without inconveniencing the table behind you.Service was bad as it took a while for the food to be out and the staff didn't make us feel welcome. It seems like they view their time as more of a chore than anything. Food Quality: 3.5Service Quality: 2.5Ambiance: 3.0Overall Quality: 3.0I might come back for a drink or two and some pf their Filipino favorites. They just need to improve on the service, so I am hoping to see a vast improvement the next time I visit. Cheers,Chef Jay

Truly affordable Filipino dishes....Tried their Crispy Pata, Kare Kare, Sinigangang na Bangus Belly, Pancit and Turon....Awesome serving sizes and quite good when it comes to taste... The only dish that didn't impress me was the pancit. This branch by far is the most beautiful and fun (sana) to dine in among the brand's branches though they HIGHLY NEED TO TRAIN their wait staff... add na din sa service training their supervisor/manager... POOR and SLOW service is bad for business. Manners and etiquette are expected of restaurant people!

My balikbayan brother requested for a family dinner out so we all converged here where we ordered our favorites:- sizzling bulalo for me- sisig for my baby girl- inihaw na liempo for my baby boy- laing for my hubby- pork barbecue and sinigang for my bros, and- crispy pata for the parental unitsThe place is spacious and can accommodate several family get-togethers if it came to that, with more indoor and outdoor seating upstairs. The flavors of the food is close to what I grew up with. This resto will remain a family favorite.
