Tried out this resto cause of the 1peso deal. For every order of large bap, you get a regular bap for just 1peso. So we had the B.E.C (bacon, egg&chicken) and Spring Onion and Ginger with grilled chicken. I'm not sure how bibimbaps should taste like cause I'm more of a Japanese website but this tasted a little bad. Well actually, it was pretty tasteless. We had to put a lot of gocuchang and bulgogi sauce in it to make it taste like something. What's worse, we spent the next 20 minutes mixing our food until the rice sticked to the very very (annoyingly) hot pot but still it burnt our tongues. What sold me was the delicious korean dumpling which was new to my taste buds. If gyoza and siomai had a baby, this was it. Add in the shisso to wrap and boom... it was awesome! Other than that, nothing worth remembering but this was definitely worth trying. Also a great plus on the service crew for being so polite and attentive.

Had the pork belly bap and it was good. The taste really depends on how much bulgogi sauce and gochujang you mix in. The large bowl is good for 2 people with light appetites. They have a promo now for lunch where if you buy 1 large bowl, you get a medium bowl for only P1! Pretty good deal.

I am not a fan of Korea Novellas, but i definitely am hooked on Korean food! I went to Korea in the fall of 2014. Since then I was looking for some gangnam style spice. We checked out the new resto in estancia mall for some bap. The place was not so busy, we were able to choose any table plus the kind and friendly waiter was able to walk us through the process and the menu. In korea, there were very few choices for kids to eat. So we asked for a nonspicy version of their baps. Fortunately they have BYOB - build your own Bap. Maybe its the way we put all the ingredients on our baps that made it no different than the usual chinese fried rice... it just has too many rice.  The usual freebie sides were fewer (no fried dilis!). Food needed more zing but the service was great.

I had a hangover when I arrived, I ordered the steak and eggs bop, now my hangover is cured. Thank you I Am Kim! Great food, house made gochujang, will definitely do it again.

In general, I love Korean food so I decided to try this restaurant because they offer various kinds of bap which are not usually offered in other Korean restaurants. We ordered their bestsellers which are umami bomb and barbecue bap. To fully enjoy bibimbap, mix the ingredients well and add their sauces while mixing. You can decide whether to have some burnt rice on the sides (in my case, i like them). This results to a more flavorful dish. I AM Kim's umami bomb and barbecue bomb have generous amount of meat as one of its ingredients so meat lovers will like these. I recommend that you try this one to experience making your own bap or eating other kinds if bap. We also experienced a good customer service. The service was prompt and the servera were attentive.

Decided to try out this place because of the 300 for 500 voucher on Deal Grocer. Some menu items were not available when I visited--for one, I wanted to try out their fried dumplings, but at 7PM, apparently they were already out of stock. Settled instead on ordering just the BBQ bap, which is supposedly one of their best sellers. The bibimbap came with 3 small side dishes--cheesy baby potatoes, pickled spinach, and radish. We ordered the large portion but the bowl wasn't as large as expected. Good enough for 2 but you might want to order something else. Taste-wise, it was okay. Each element in the dish was executed well, albeit there was nothing special. Just good, honest cooking. The spicy paste was the winner for me!Would I go back? Only with a voucher.

I didn't like the decor very much. It looked a bit too dark for me. Nevertheless, I liked the Umami Bomb bowl I shared with my partner. The umami butter tasted really great, and the serving was really filling. The large bowl is already good enough for two people.

Trying out a place for the first time I usually ask for the bestseller by default. Curious about Korean Stone Bowl Rice, I checked in to I Am Kim in Estancia Mall and outright ordered their Umami Bomb. It's quite a mouthful dish with Korean sausage, BBQ Chicken, Fried Tofu, vegetables, mushroom and eggs. The mix is brought to life with Umami Butter, Gocuchang and Bulgogi Sauce. Undoubtedly tasty and very very filling. With all those elements put together, indeed a satisfying meal. The hot stone bowl keeps the food eternally hot and the freshly cooked quality retained althoughout. I also liked their bright and refreshing beverage called Honey Lemon Jucha. Total bill for one full meal? P500.

I've been wanting to try this cause they have Yukhoe (raw beef). Not many Korean restaurant offer it.Finally got to try it but had it for take out. I'm not even sure what they call the raw beef dish. But that's what I got.I don't eat rice... and their serving had A LOT of rice! Although my food was good and I enjoyed eating it, the serving size was not worth the price... especially with all the rice. How much I enjoyed the raw beef was very low compared to the price we paid for our food. I don't think I'll be eating here again, more so because their prices tend to be on the high side. (Which I wouldn't mind if the quality was just as high).

Today I had I AM KIM for dinner. I ordered their Classic Bap (Bibimbap). It costs 209 pesos for a medium size. I have never eaten Bibimbap, but for a first experience, THIS was a good one. Management changed my beef to bulgogi beef since their beef cubes were out of stock. Which btw was a good idea because their manager informed me that they never will recommend you to do take outs with beef since it can get tough. Now that’s informative service. The flavors were good and I ate their kimchi, which I would usually just give to @dumoves. If you ever come to Capitol Commons, try out I Am Kim Stone Bowl Rice. It’s located at the LG of Estancia. Staff is friendly and accomodating.
