This is one of the better Korean chicken spots in Ortigas. This place was recommended by a friend and I'm glad I gave it a try.We came here for dinner and ordered their best-sellers. Wegot the Original crispy wings, the Boneless Cheese Melt with their traditional Sweet Chili and Garlic Sauces, Pa-Dak (Boneless Chicken with Spring Onion Salad on top, KImchi Fried Rice, and Kimchi Jjigae (Korean Spicy soup made with Kimchi, Tofu, and Pork Belly).I love the Sweet Chili Pa-Dak! So sweet, tangy, and crunchy! The spring onion salad on top was a nice addition to the dish. The garlic version had a good amount of garlic flavour with a small heat kick. The fried chicken was great. Fried to perfection, crispy on the outside and moist and tender inside. It comes out piping hot, so make sure and wait before digging in. Most Korean fried chicken spots give you tiny wings for some reason but Hoolala's were huge. I'm happy this place exists. I definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for good wings, good Korean soups, and good boneless cheesy chicken.

I only ordered delivery of the Original Chicken and Oh My Garlic Boneless Chicken Melt. Both were so good! The original chicken is perfectly crunchy and didn't need any sauce and the Chicken Melt is savory. I'll order from them again

Service took too long. Took about 40mins for just a piece of chicken and rice. Had to wait that long and was served with a bloody, undercooked chicken.Asked to cancel the order after i was served, was told that i couldnt cancel. They offered to recook the chicken..and i had no other choice. So not worth it.

Hoolala looks like a typical neighborhood Korean restaurant that I usually see in some dramas. It is relatively spacious and the walls are decorated with some chicken art. We were served with some appetizers which were pretty average. The appetizers were composed of pickles which (imo) were just prepared during the day. The jap chae tasted okay and had generous amount of toppings- beef and some vegetable. I wish the sauce tasted less sweet. The bulgogi also tasted sweet.I love the boneless chicken meat which was composed of baked chicken and cheese. The spicy taste toned down the 'umay' feeling. You could also request the servers to reduce the spiciness. I recommend this dish to be paired with beer.Prices are affordable and staff is helpful. The place seems a good choice for a quick lunch especially among workers.

I just tried the chicken galbi for Php 120. Flavors are just ok. Nothing special. Just so-so. Place is spacious, staff service is just ok. I find that the servings are small for the price. Pricey even.

My workmate was craving for Korean food the night we went at Hoolala. We walked through San Antonio Village at the back of UA&P looking for Korean restaurant that serves beer. I was with 2 men workmates and 1 woman (craving), so we were a total of four. We checked their menu and voila! they have a beer promo of buy 2 get 1 free. It was spacious. There were colorful chicken paintings on the walls, simple white chairs and tables, and it was bright on the counter but a bit dark in the middle of dining area. I also noticed that they have a small stall in the entrance for Korean products like noodles, melona ice cream, and the like. We were the only guests that time, around 12mn, but I think they barely get full. The menu was limited. Chicken dishes with different flavors and sauces and a few extras like japchae. My workmate ordered half classic chicken with sauce and half boneless cheesy melt. I ordered 2 550ml draft beer to get another one for free, so the 2 men and I could drink. You can order at the counter or have the staff get your orders on your table. We were given complimentary pickled dishes that could be perfectly paired with Korean chicken. The chicken with sauce was so-so but the boneless cheesy melt was the bomb. I also loved how they served their beers. They were in a huge 550ml CHILLED mugs and below zero yeah.I love chicken and beer, they’re just the perfect pair. I enjoyed their food. But there’s something in their lights that gave me a gloomy feeling, maybe because the dining area was a bit dark. It would also be better if they try to add other dishes in their menu. The prices were reasonable and it’s good for quick meals.  TIPS/RECOMMENDATIONS:-order the boneless cheesy melt-pair it with below zero beer

The ambiance of the place is nothing special, it actually looks a bit dirty and cheap - we even saw a mouse running on a cord. But the chicken with cheese is THE BEST. The serving was huge for its price and we were sharing the half size and couldn't even finish it.

When you are craving for Korean chicken, then Hoolala is the place to go! I super love their Snow Chicken in cheese! The japchae is also good. The kimchi rice is also one of my favorites. It is a nice restaurant that sells food at an affordable price!
