We've been here one stormy evening for a quick dinner. As expected, there weren't too many diners that night because of the inclement weather. The place is typical of a Pinoy diner -- minimal designs, sterile white walls, and metal tables and cushioned seats. We scanned the menu and placed our orders for tapsilog, hotpot and sizzling porkchop. There are also a lot of attractive offerings such as bangus and barbecue. Good Ah!!! also offers unlimited rice servings for those who have big appetites.

Ordered through food panda during lunch time and the service was surprisingly fast. Also one of our go to munchstop during the wee hours.Their menu's taste differs. I guess it's because of the one who's in charge to prepare the meal. Sometimes they serve really delicious meals and sometimes you'll just want to throw it all up. Overall it's an okay place to eat if you are on a budget.

My memories of Goodah started in my elementary years. Our family used to frequent the now defunct Greenhills branch. We go after jogging/running around the area. The prices are still friendly and this despite a more welcoming ambiance and air-condition. The menu has deviated from mostly Lugaw to other Filipino favorites. Tapa seems to be the banner dish now.Their Lugaw now is Chinese style with lots of water. It used to be more dense. The Filipino taste is still very much present though. I didn't appreciate though the small chicken piece and lots of pork skin on my Arroz Caldo. The Pares lacked star anise flavor and tasted like Bistek. Too much other beef parts too that were rubbery and hard to chew. What stood out was their generous serving of Garlic Kangkong at Php 59. Even if it was hard to eat with long stems, this one satisfied.

Was not satisfied with my first dining experience here. First about their service. When my boyfriend and I was there, there were only few people eating so we were expecting that all our requests would be granted as soon as possible. However, it seems that all the servers were busy with other stuff so it took a lot of time for them to address to our needs. Second, my boyfriend ordered their Sizzling Porkchop. From the word itself, SIZZLING, when it was served it wasn't sizzling at all! My boyfriend felt the coldness of the gravy of the porkchop and it was too salty! Plus, the porkchop was so thin it's as if you are eating a bacon. Third, I ordered their Nilagang Baka. Well to be fair, their Nilagang Baka was good for two and tastes ok. However, again, there were only small bits of beef! I think it's only 6-7 pieces. Plus, if you are used of eating Nilaga Baka while you have calamansi and soy sauce on the side, do not think about it! It's salty already! TOO SALTY. 😐 Hayyy. Last, I ordered their Ube Con Hielo. Okay, that's a good dessert actually. It's like an ube ice cream dissolved in crushed ice. It's not sweet but good as dessert.

As a kid growing up in Greenhills/San Juan, I used to go to Goodah a lot especially in the evenings. I still remember their branch in Annapolis (or was it Connecticut), eating bowls of Lugao and plates of tapsilog will sitting on stools. No aircon needed. I used to really love this place. The Goodah of 2016 is not the same. The food isn't just mediocre, it's actually quite bad. It lacked flavor most of the time. The arroz caldo is redeemed by the chicharon, but it was too salty. The bistek was full of fat (litid). The sizzling porkchop was mostly bone and bland. Forget nostalgia, folks. This is not the Goodah we once loved.

GoodAh!!!’s take on the Filipino favorite offers four golden-brown crispy cuts of a medium-sized bangus in a steaming pot of miso soup Then vegetables such as tomatoes, kangkong, radish, and string beans are added to complete the Sinigang dish. Served in a hot pot, diners can enjoy the hot soup and pair it with several cups of rice as they enjoy each bite of the boneless bangus, veggies, and the sour-savory Miso soup. The deliciously healthy dish could not have come at a more appropriate time, with the Holy Week just around the corner. The soft and creamy texture of bangus meat, matched with its fried crunchy exterior gives diners a delicious contrast in textures. The vegetables are perfectly cooked, with a crisp bite in every piece. The miso soup balances every flavor with its rich complexity that really catches the season. Bangus lovers will definitely enjoy this new dish from GoodAh!!!, especially during this Lenten season, when meat dishes are limited for those who are fasting or abstaining.

Really bad experience, earlier on my order of mais con yelo it took 20mins to deliver, i purposely did not follow up.. when it arrived its mais con gatas, all i have to do is sip it using the straw, no more ice. My wife has a metrodeal voucher which we ordered boneless sinigang sa miso.. dont order it! You'll be dismayed, they used a fried boneless bangus and its missing most of the vegetables from the picture.. when i asked the waitress "Ate, bakit yun sa picture nag uumapaw yun gulay, dito nagtago at nawawala ata".. yep, no response, and you always have to follow up on missing orders, definitely not going back here

This restaurant is quite hidden in the Metrowalk area, which is a good thing (away from the noisy nearby thoroughfares especially Meralco Avenue, for one). It felt nice to visit Metrowalk again after almost a decade, by the way. A lot has changed there and I saw some places to eat that were new (to my eyes, at least).Anyway, my friend and I had breakfast there. What we had:What we had:⏺Goto Special⏺Bulalugaw⏺Tokwa't Baboy⏺Pandan con Yelo⏺Free drinking water(Too bad they didn't have at least a brewed coffee)I was intrigued by the Bulalugaw thing. It turned out that it tasted like the usual goto, but instead of tripes ("tuwalya") you'll have tender chunks of beef. I was expecting bone marrow since the dish's name is a portmanteau of "bulalo" and "lugaw," I was kind of disappointed that it didn't have bone marrow -- but other than that, it was delicious. Not too salty nor oily... Or "ma-vetsin." The same goes for my date's goto.We shared the Pandan con Yelo -- we both liked it. I like my shakes on the sweeter side since they're usually icy (and ice would numb your taste buds). The Pandan con Yelo was sweet but not too cloying. It had the goodness of pandan flavor. The ambiance there at the time was mostly chill. Nice place to have a heavy breakfast and their lugaw (I love lugaw/arroz caldo/goto) was good. And great 80s rock/pop/dance music on the background (reminds me of our time lols, we're getting old).

Everything we ordered were too salty - arroz caldo, chicken mami & bulalugaw.Arroz caldo’s fine, you just need to add a bit of vinegar to balance the saltiness if you’re into that. I expected more from the bulalugaw. The photo was mouth watering but when the order came, it was very disappointing. There was just small beef shanks and the lugaw was too watery. DO NOT ORDER CHICKEN MAMI. You can smell the noodles used was old and probably not kept in a good storage.
