Flafe or Flowers and Cafe is a Korean cafe that is filled with flower all over their walls, shelves and tables. They offer the typical korean foods that are offered by most korean food stores along Garnet Rd but unlike any other korean themed Cafes they offer many flavors of Bingsu that you can choose from. A safe choice for me is ordering Melon Bingsu! I find their Bingsu sweeter than any other Bingsu that I have tried which I prefer. The staffs were all very kind taking lots of pictures for us hihihi

A cute Korean coffee shop with a very unique name. Flafe for flowers and cafe. The place is neat and small, about 15 seating capacity. An artificial tree welcomes you as you enter. There is also a message wall where guests can stick post-its to express how pleased they were with their visit. The guests are mostly young Koreans but there are Filipinos too, like us, who wanted to try their specialty dessert Bingsu. Bingsu is Korea's version of Halo-halo. Smoothly shaved ice topped with a your choice of fruits or chocolates with creamy milk and sweetened just right. We also tried their spicy rice topping Bibimbap. That covers for the Cafe part.In one corner is a chiller for fresh cut flowers for special occasions. That's the Flower part.Service is good and price is reasonable. Will come back again to try their other desserts.

Although it's also a flower shop, it is not popular for its home Korean dishes at great value. I go here for their ramen, vegetable dumplings and bingsu. You can explore their risotto and pasta choices as well done Korean way.

Our fondest memory of this place was of the S'mores Dip my sister and I shared months ago. We decided to try their food one dinner. On the tableBulgogi Dupbap - lacked flavorChicken Dupbap - tasted better than the Chicken but not that greatMandu Soup - light broth with dumplings but needed seasoningS'mores Dip - so different from what we remembered. Extremely sweet and liquid. After tasting the S'mores Dip we were quite disappointed. I don't think we'll be coming here for food anytime soon. *there were several Koreans going in and out so i guess that must be a sign that the place is good. Maybe Korean food just isn't for us.**quite sad that the menu photos looked so much better than the actual food

Flower shop and Korean cafe. An interesting combination in my opinion. Although the area is pretty small, I liked the shabby chic interior combined with the flowers all over the place which made it very cozy and romantic, if I may say so.In terms of the food, since we're not exactly fans of Korean cuisine, this place did not disappoint us. It was enough to satify our hunger. Their Kimbap was worth-it with 12 pieces in every order, which their Jeyuk Dupbap was spicy enough for M's taste. I would say it was affordable for a restaurant in the Ortigas Area. A good find for us during a Sunday night when most restaurants in the area were already closed. Good job, Cafe Flafe! 😄

Since we started this Korean Food trip a week ago we couldn't possibly miss the opportunity to visit Cafe Flafe. This cafe is designed a little frilly and girly. The tree inside the cafe is unexpected :) but it was perfect since we managed to get a simple photo shoot out of it. Now let's talk about their food. Overall I love that their ramen outburst the real flavor apart from being too spicy. I enjoyed the dish with a strawberry bread afterwards. I ate mostly the strawberries and cream topping because the bread seems to thick. Also tried their Mango Bingsu which I am surprised with that big a bowl I was able to finish it in a matter of minutes. We were also given a loyalty card, not sure how to accumulate a total of 5k worth of spending but yeah, we will definitely comeback here.

The ambiance of the shop is inviting as well as their food. The ingredients put in their dishes are authentic yet reasonable in pricing. We surely would come back since it's near the office.

Went here twice. The place is cute and it's definitely Instagrammable. Serving was a bit slow but I enjoyed their Bingsu and Ramen. It's a place you can consider when you want an intimate meal with your friends or loved one.

Everytime I passby in this Korean cafe, I always get curious with what's inside. And so today I went there, alone, tried their bibimbap to satisfy my hungry tummy. 😂😂😂 It had generous servings of beef and vegetables. Bibimbap is good - fair with the price. Probably it could've been better if there's a side dish like kimchi or extra chili sauce. 👍 The place is cozy, warm feeling amd has the vintage vibe. Overall, I gave it a 4.0 cause it's still a good place to hang out! 👌👌👌

The first time I went to Flafe was during its soft opening back in June 2014. The crew welcomed me with an "annyeong haseyo". While ordering my favorite Choco Bingsu, I used Korean as way of communicating to the crew, until the owner of the store Helena Jung drew her attention to me. She was surprised I was able to speak in Korean (since I studied the language for 2 years back in college). With that, we got to know each other well and became friends. After that time, I decided to go back here more often to try their other products on the menu. Then one time back in December of 2015 before I left for Dubai, I gave Helena a visit. Then guess what? She cooked me one of her specialties which is Bibimbap for FREE like she is treating me as her son! When you get to know someone well, good things really happen. I felt like I am a part of their family.Besides their good food, the interior of the place makes me feel relaxed with those flower decors around the place (Helena is also a good flower arranger by the way!). Like Helena told me, she wants to make the place not only a home to her customers, but also a place that will remind the people of school (since Helena is a type of person who loves to learn new things). I even invited my friends and officemates to try Flafe. They also find this one great. Flafe is not only a place to have good Korean food with your family and friends, but also a place to unwind from a busy day at work. Highly recommended to all KPOP, Korean enthusiasts and foodies out there.PS: If you need flowers to send to your loved ones, Flafe can provide that to you too!
