Korea meets Mexico in this modern Korean resto. It lives up to up to its 'modern Korean' description! Went here Monday evening and the place was about 1/4th full which is not bad for a Monday. And they're still on soft opening. We ordered Japchae and the bulgogi chimichanga to share. Japchae was quite good with the glass noodles mixed with veggies and strips of beef. A good healthy combination. The chimichanga was excellent. Kind of like a Korean burrito in a Tortilla. The skin of the tortilla was easy to bite into: did not break or pose difficulty in tearing. The mix of bulgogi and rice was tasty and spiced just right. Had the banana milk cheesecake for dessert. Huge portion and quite delish. All the 3 dishes came in quantities that could be easily shared by 2.Rounded off by ordering the soju coffee and the soju cinnamon cocktails. Former was mixed with coffee n Kahlua and the latter with Yakult and cinnamon. The drinks were underwhelming.

I love everything about this restaurant... All the foods are excellent and well presented. A must try Kimchi Quesadilla and Jalapeño Poppers and the cheesecake ❤️❤️❤️

The biggest challenge Eum-ma-ne faces is that people have no idea what it is. For the record, It's modern korean that serves up classics with a twist. It's also somewhat mexican which makes it very confusing for would-be diners. We were confused too but trust me, this venture outside your comfort zone is well worth it. The taste is actually very good. We liked the japchae, the bulgogi and the crispy chicken. The second biggest challenge is the price. It ain't cheap but on the plus side the portions are BIG. I hope this restaurant stays around, I intend to come back. The bacon cheese mandu is calling me.

The cuisine is korean-european fusion. We ordered the seafood pancake which resembled a pizza, mandu in cheese fondue, super tender spiced roast chicken, and korean style bbq short ribs among other things. They looked really appetizing and most were actually good. They're basically Korean comfort food. I guess one negative feedback is the that the bibimbap tasted like dried rice (lacked flavor and color), and that the mandu was served half cooked (frozen at the center) the 2nd time we came.

Eum-ma-ne's menu has your Korean food staples, and some dishes with a Mexican twist. My family, being somewhat traditional when it came to selecting food, opted for the usual fare: bulgogi, bibimbap, japchae, and seaweed salad. The only deviations were my kimchi jjigae, and the ganjang chicken. My favorites were the japchae, bulgogi, and ganjang chicken. The ganjang chicken was a nice surprise, since it was crispy, and the sauce used to coat the chicken wasn't too overpowering and spicy. However, I found my kimchi jjigae a bit too watery for my taste, and not a lot of kimchi for a kimchi stew. There was a bit more pork than I expected, but for kimchi jjigae, I would like to taste more kimchi, thank you. The seaweed salad was a bit of a let down as well - the dressing had no zing, and just a bit of flavor to it.The service is good, and attentive, and the interiors are really nice as well! It's a pretty kid-friendly place too. I'd recommend this place to people who like something a bit different from the usual Korean fare.
