I always go to Coco Ichibanya to satisfy my japanese curry cravings. First time to try the Estancia branch and it did not disappoint!Pork Cutlet and Vegetables Curry RiceThe creamy consistency of the curry sauce is what makes Coco stand out among other restaurants. Unlike others who will serve you curry sauce that borders on being watery jello blobs, the curry sauce plays on your tongue and leaves you wanting for more (sensual much).Just be mindful on the spiciness level... despite being a spice girl (yep!), i just stick to level 3. I tried level 4 once last year and it felt warm in my tummy (didn’t induce LBM despite the level 4 so good job!).The pork cutlet was of the right crispiness yet soft on the inside. I just move them away from the curry seas to the rice land (hey the plating looks like an island/beach) to prevent the pork from being too soggy. The rice is of the high quality. I can finish them all if I wasn’t controlling my rice consumption.I usually alternate the veggie with the omelette version depending on my whim. Both are very good!Chicken and Rice Curry GratinMy first time to eat this. The server warned us that this will be dry since it’s baked. And true enough, the server was right! Masarap yung cheese, but could’ve been better if the curry was...er.. saucy? I’d still go for the classic curry rice for my curry fix.NaanJust had to order this. For what is curry sauce without naan? It’s fresh and warm and it feels good to eat with bare hands.Chocolate Choux CrèmePromo item - came free with the pork and veggie curry rice. We thought it’s gonna have a warm rich choco feeling oozing out of the bread. But surprised to find out that the filling was some sort of chocolate ice cream! Also surprised that it was only half-filled vs the promo photos. Nonetheless, masarap pa rin sya with just the right amount of sweetness to satisfy your tito/tita tastebuds.Overall, Coco Ichibanya is highly recommended! Kinda pricey but you get what you paid for. Will definitely return!

I’m not a fan of japanese curry so it’s my first time to try it here. (S/O to my friends for forcing me to eat here lol) When ordering your food you can choose your own level of spicyness. I thought it was a bit expensive for a curry but when they served the food it was a big plate serving good food. 👌🏻 What we had:Beef Omelet CurryPork Cutlet Omelet CurryPork Cutlet Curry with VegetablesIf you guys love japanese curry then this restaurant will surely satisfy your cravings.

Really love all the curry dishes! Brought with me my anak and my dog. My son is not into spicy food so it's great to introduce him to curry without the 'spice'. The staff are very friendly too. Tried this at singapore and I can say the food is pretty much same, yummy!

One thing I can say about this resto is that they live up to their name of being the house of curry. One look at their menu and you’ll see a lot of different options, all with Japanese curry, which you even have the option of changing your food’s spice level. Their food is actually quite good with quality ingredients. Even their rice is good to eat just by itself already. However, their food is a little on the pricey side although they compensate for it with taste and quality, as well as their good service (in this branch at least). Not so much on the presentation though since all their food has curry, they pretty much look the same. I would recommend their cheese hamburger steak, their cream croquet, and their shrimp cutlet. I always order my food with level three spiciness. It’s still in the tolerable hot level but already with enough kick. Also, kudos to them for offering a kiddie meal. Not all restos offer this anymore. Plus points to them for using special kiddie tableware too. It made my kids enjoy their food more. Tip: if you don’t want your rice swimming in too much sauce, you can ask them to separate it when serving it to you. Also, each order has different options in terms of how much rice you’ll have. Minimum is 200g.

No other Japanese restaurant does curry quite like Coco. I’ve tried the Tokyo branch and what we have here comes pretty close. Love the burger and cheese dish here. Filling and absolutely satisfying!

Coco made me cuckoo over Japanese curry. I love how fluffy their rice is. The hamburger curry is cooked very beautifully and so as the omu rice.

Whenever I crave for Japanese curry rice, Coco Ichibanya is the first thing that comes to my mind. This restaurant has obviously spent a good amount of time refining their recipes, and it shows. It's by far one of the best curry houses I've tried in Metro Manila, and it's a good thing that there's a branch near our office! :) For P300++ a plate, their curry dishes are a good deal. The sauces are properly rich and luxurious. In several occasions during lunch, we've had their cheese hamburger curry, pork cutlet curry, shrimp cutlet curry, salads, and coffee. Everything tastes brilliant, and the spiciness will make you reach for a glass of water. Not sure food is spicy enough, they offer the chili powder on the table so you can add and adjust heat according to your appetite. This branch in Eastwood is almost always packed during lunch time so plan your visit ahead. While the original curries are the best reason to go, the pastas on the menu also look like they’re worth a try.

My husband really loves Curry so we ended up eating at Coco Ichibanya after we visited the latest attraction at Estancia Mall.Since it was almost closing time, we’re the only customers left. The server was really attentive and friendly that she made sure we chose the right dish we wanted. My husband ordered Pork Curry with Vegetables, I ended up ordering Pork Cutlet Omellet Curry and our house helper chose Creamed Croquette & Cheese Curry. Spicy level is Standard. I love the dishes and the big serving, and the good service, thou I think its a bit over priced.

Curry and Katsu really work! I can’t really taste how different they claim their curry to be from other Japanese restaurants and what I can make out of a box though. I like that you can set how much rice you can eat because I don’t eat a lot of it.
