For me, Churreria La Lola has the best churros in town!My rating of 3.5 is mostly because this branch seemed to have over cooked my churros. They were on the tough side and no longer chewy on the inside. It's odd that they lack consistency when it comes to cooking their churros as this was not the first time I've experienced over cooked churros.During this trip, I also got to try their Chocochurros and the Matcha covered ones. They were both pretty good! I do still like my churros hot. Hehehehe!

Still the best churros i ever had.12 freshly cooked, glistening churros with dark chocolate dip. Yummmm! We couldn't have enough so we ordered one stuffed with banana and generously drizzled with nutella. You can never go wrong with that combination.

Oh dear. the first time that my aunt ordered mixed flavor. the best flavor is dark chocolate and white chocolate coat on churros. Best without chocolate dip!Gud damn it was the best churros ever had. much better than any stalls. Normally when you buy at stalls, there's always original and cinnamon with sugar flavor. Definitely definitely will order again! Price: quite too pricey even I used my PWD (my hearing impairment) Service: good

This branch is my favourite. Mostly because they have bigger seating area. Almost always crowded though.I’ve always admired the branding of La Lola. The management really took great pains in making sure their branding is synchronized right down to the La Lola uniforms. The menu design, posters, packaging, wall art etc. are impeccably cohesive and they even customized tables and chairs! Love how they have the table with a hole to insert the conical churro holder perfectly. Love how their packaging has an in- built cup holder. Maybe it’s been done before in other churro cafes around the world, so it can’t exactly be called an original idea, but I’d still call it ingenious. The reds and greens of their brand don’t feel Christmasy. The incorporation of the “Lola “ logo already gives off the home-made, warm and comfortable vibe , though arguably, this can feel countered with the coldness of the steel furniture. What I like is that they’ve taken this old lola icon and made it contemporary with their colour scheme and design approach. They made churros into a character. It’s been given it’s own personality and with the different takes on churros, they’ve breathed new life into this traditional pastry. It’s feels like a lot of thought, care and pride went into this… as well as a lot of investment. Which is commendable, in my opinion. They already have this memorable product. Having memorable branding to go with it just catapults your popularity.Oh right, food… ahem…La Lola has really expanded their menu from when they first started. I like the additional items, though I wonder if the inclusion of sandwiches is necessary as it feels like rice meals then nachos will be next and then the menu gets confusing and the vision for the product gets lost. The pre-dipped churros are my favourite item so far. I think they dip just the right amount of chocolate and it’s less messier than having to dip the churro yourself. I don’t care much for chocolate but I did happen to like the dark chocolate. White chocolate is my favourite. I thought the matcha could use stronger green tea flavouring but maybe that’s just me. The churros sandwich is as you expect it, and the rice krispies add that nice extra crunch. Iced latte tastes fine, strong, for me, but they need to offer sugar syrup. When I was here last, they were giving out long balloons for kids. Whose bright idea was that? Of COURSE every kid is going to play pretend swords with it and bop everyone on the head and annoy 99% of the customers ( the 1% not annoyed aren’t even their parents ). Not a fun idea.Cleanliness is lacking in this branch, though I can hardly blame the employees as they’re busy making churros and tending to customers ( or blowing up stupid balloons ). Quality control can also sometimes be a problem, though I’ve only had this under cooked churro once ( actually not under cooked… didn’t taste raw but wasn’t well done either, if that makes sense ). Last of all… sugar syrup needs to be a mandatory thing when offering iced coffees!

La Lola's Churros are probably the best I have tasted. This review though applies to their Matcha and Vanilla coated churros. The Matcha variant lacks sweetness and is quite bitter as commented by my friends. The vanilla on the other hand was just right! Iced Tea was really good as well.
