We went here on a date night and their ambience was perfect for a romantic date except for the kind of music that the band was playing. I am not a fan of their food because the grilled salmon and liempo that they served were super smoky flavored. The nacho pizza was super upsetting since we thought that it was an actual pizza with some nachos but it looked like plain nachos with cheese(kinda deceiving menu) but all in all it was okay but I am not sure if we'll come back.

When I used to work and live in Ortigas area, this pub was just around the corner of my neighborhood. All my foreign managers at work would usually hang out here for a couple of beer mugs while watching the sports channel flashed on their big screens. I also enjoyed their meals as they were really good pub food. For the few times I hang out here, we ordered the C&B Pizza (P580) which was their “in-house” pizza and their specialty. It was like classic pizza with lettuce, sausage ham, pepperoni, some black olives, mushrooms and shrimps. We also tried out the Lengua Salpicao (P540) which was cooked to the tender that it was almost melt in your mouth. Overall, I think the ambiance is great, the food is awesome but the price is, well, foreign too.

Chef and Brewer has long been a landmark in the Ortigas night scene. However, it really has very little appeal to me. I am glad to see, however, that non-beer drinkers can opt for other liquers; my favorite is Baileys Irish Cream.

My reviews are based on my own experiences therefore; they are factsWhen we were staying in HI, this is the place that flashed in our minds to go to. Since it is near and it looks promising.  We just wanted to sit down and have a good night.Food - for sure we ordered french onion soup and 2 meat and rice mealsThe serving size is huge and it was fulfilling. We added Bailey's with an ice cream. Nothing could go wrong with that unless they serve it ube ice cream LOL!The french onion was so-so. just .5 better than La Creperie. Surprisingly!Service - 1st visit: they were all busy. We had to call them 2-3 times because (ambiance)2nd visit: nobody was assisting for us to be seated. We eventually ended up on the bar but half of their appetizers weren't available. So we went awayAmbiance - if you are deaf, you will definitely can hear if you sit here. Damn the noise! There was a band playing Beatles all night. The music was too loud for its space. TOO LOUD! This added to the fact that servers' attention were difficult to catch. Please hire a sound engineer.Value for money - okay lang for the food you get. Luckily, we got served good food when we were there. They have this piso coffee ad, which intrigues me. I may or may not try again

I love their Blue Marlin Saplicado on fried rice--the spice is just right for my taste. I also liked their Herb Marinated Fish Fillet, which my husband ordered.

I was here many times before all at night to watch a band or have a late night with friends. I just noticed recently that they are open for breakfast. And yes another spot to watch TV while enjoying food. The menu items Php 350-Php 700 range were quite expensive and am thinking they are for groups. I opted though for special menu which had sets ranging Php 200- Php 300 up. I had their Chicken Sisig. It didnt taste like Sisig at all. It was more like stir fried with chili. It was good nevertheless. Another one I got was their mixed vegetables which was their rendition of Chopseuy. Both were a good pair but not something i'll re order on the next trip.

First, you dump crispy pata on me, then you forget to order my calamares, the last thing you should do is to hold me like we're close friends just to say, sorry ha. There's nothing spectacular here. Not even your Lukban Pizza. Btw, your Korean ribs are quite tough. Thank you.To be fair, what saved the day was the retro band and the sound system. Those oldies were good.

If you are an old soul who likes music which our grandfathers would enjoy, this place is ok. Beer is quite pricey, choose draft beers for better option. Love their Four Cheese Pizza!

I attended an event here. The place is perfect for friends who want a night out. I know they have. Live band on certain days. I really enjoyed their chicken, the spaghetti is a bit on the sweet side. I really liked the dessert they served, a cross between drink and a dessert. I forgot the name but it was very good. Easily accessible to commuters although if you have a vehicle it's going to be hard to park.

FREAKING SERVICE SUCKS LIKE HELL!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME HERE. THE FOOD IS "SO SO", TOTALLY NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY AND TIME. ON TOP OF THAT, IT TAKES FOREVER TO GET YOUR BILL and ORDER (you have to continuously remind/follow up with them where your freaking food is). TOTALLY REGRETTING DECISION TO GO HERE. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
