Inadvertently, I was going Italian that day. 🇮🇹 😁After the website FMU at Motorino Pizzeria Napoletana inside Estancia Mall, I was craving for some more sweets plus coffee. Despite having tried and enjoyed a couple of Motorino's desserts, they were not still enough for me.With some more time to kill, I headed straight to Cara Mia, which also happened to be located on the same floor as Motorino. That's but my habit almost every after eat-up (although this was my first website FMU, I have been to other numerous eat-ups) -- having a cup of coffee plus sweets.Choosing was made incredibly difficult as there were lots of gelato varieties to choose from. The display of cakes as well as the gelato at the counter were quite an eye candy.I just wanted a couple of gelato scoops (₱180 for two scoops). After some prolonged decision-making, I settled for Mint Chocolate and Turtle Pie. For the beverage, I chose a cup of cappuccino. They were both good! They were not too sweet, and I liked that. The Turtle Pie was all dark chocolate goodness while the Mint Chocolate instantly reminded me of Christmas (mint candy canes, or the peppermint mocha), which is exactly coming 'round the corner right now.The cappuccino had the right ratio of foam and the coffee itself. It was the typical cappuccino and it was good.Cara Mia is a stall, but a big one. It offers an ample number of seating, and I was at one of those comfy seats during the time I stayed there.

I remember Caramia was located inside Amici restaurants to cater the dessert needs of their guests. We would usually order gelato whenever we dined in Amici and I am pleased that their gelato still has the same good quality. I think it is one of the best choices since the prices are relatively reasonable.

With so much ice cream shops, I personally like most of their creations. On this trip I was able to try 5. Among those, Ferrero was my favorite. Ferrero had a very close resemblance to the popular chocolate. It would have been better though if it had more texture. Nuts, chocolate pieces, etc. I also enjoyed their Cookie Dough which my sister had. It's her default choice ever since. I get why.

Gelato & Lemon Bars! With the humidity  weighing everything down, it was time for a pick-me-up! Showing my best friend around Capital Commons, while pillow hunting, it felt almost like an obligation to at least have 1 scoop of delicious gelato!Kiosk: Clean and appealing, with enough tables and chairs to host at least a dozen customers.Flavors: Stupendous! Tempting and incredibly difficult to choose from!Order: Blackforrest which had real sour cherries!!!Caramel BaileysCaramel Caramel?ToffeeWaterLemon Bars (a MUST BUY!!!)Staff: Considering our weak-kneed nature when it comes to gelato, I must give them KUDOS for putting up with our questions and sample requests! I've never bought Lemon Bars from Caramia. We usually just buy their cakes for celebrations. But man-oh-man I've been missing out! The Lemon Bars are positively ambrosial! Gooey, with just a light dusting of powdered sugar, a light buttery crispy crumb crust - and tangy yet sweet, lemon layer.Tip: If you occupy the table by the escalator and face the kiosk, you'll be able to enjoy the hanging art and skylight while indulging.

I ordered two flavors from this Caramia stall. I got a scoop of their chocolate sans rival and salted caramel ice cream flavors. The chocolate sans rival was exciting. It had a base of chocolate ice cream, and the scoop I got had a generous helping of sans rival bits and cashews. Not as insanely sweet as I expected it to be, but it was definitely a treat to eat.I preferred the salted caramel ice cream over the colore sans rival. Unlike the other flavor, this one was a lot smoother since it didn't have any mix-ins. I definitely tasted the contrast of the sweetness of the caramels and the slight saltiness of the salt in the ice cream's formulation. Again, it wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be.
