This was the first time we tried this place and sadly we were a bit disappointed. The ambiance was ok, and the service was good but the food was so-so. We ordered the vigan longganisa sandwich and the seafood chowder soup. It took about 30 minutes before we got what we ordered. The soup was bland and did not taste as we expected a chowder soup would. Somehow I could not pinpoint the taste of the longganisa in the sandwich. Could it be that the kesong puti garnish sort of diminished the supposedly meaty taste of the longganisa? Another thing is that the prices are a bit high for the quality of the food being served.

Nice dining area because of the amount of space. Good for meryenda with friends. Surprisingly, service is quite slow even if only a few were dining.

Really awesome food, ambiance, and crowd. This is a perfect place for conversations over a hot chocolate drink. Quality time with quality people on a quality place. ❤️

I guess you'll never go wrong with Mary Grace. We enjoyed our quiet time here from all the outside rush and filled our tummies with sumptuous treats. We ordered cafe americano, cappuccino, camomile tea, cheese rolls, apple cinnamon pie, and mushroom with pate. Everything was just great and from this selection, I really liked the mushroom with pate appetizer. Staff are also very quick and accommodating. 💖

We enjoy Mary Grace ensaymada pastries, but we make a point of eating them more at home than at the cafe itself. We’ve recently figured out (okay, my dad has, not me) that microwaving the ensaymada between 11-14 seconds produces optimum flavor and texture. At 14 seconds, the cheese on top has melted and the butter in the dough has gotten very warm as well, causing it to sink somewhat. It is soft, pillowy, and buttery.  What you do with this information is up to you. 😀Feel free to report back what you think is an optimum way of reheating this gorgeous, delicious treat.

Mango bene: 5 starSans rival: 3 starPizza and pasta: No rating. Ok lang yung lasa, pareho ng sa ibang restaurants. Pero mas mahal dito kaya kung gutom ka, this is not the perfect place. GO FOR THE CAKE!

When capping off a heavy meal, one of the places that I look forward to visiting is Café Mary Grace. Their Estancia Mall branch is quite roomy, and the staff are quick and attentive. Instead of ordering my usual Cheese Roll (₱58), I had the Ensaymada (Classic or Grilled; ₱95) instead. The grilled version was soft and warm, and the sugar and grated Edam (queso de bola) cheese on top hardens into a crispy shell. While not melted or browned, the sweet and salty aroma wafts into my nostrils as soon as I cut into the ensaymada. My meal would not be complete without a cup of their warm, thick Mexicana Tsokolate (₱118). I suggest stirring every few minutes as the mixtures thickens at the top, as well as to constantly smell the aroma of cinnamon from the drink. Each sip is creamy and sweet, before the spice of the cinnamon kicks in at the last minute. Truly a most wonderful mix of flavors.

Others go to Mary Grace for the ensaymada but I go here for the all day breakfast plates especially the sirloin tapa which is heaven with that mango ensalada.Asides the tapa that I frequent here, I love the interiors. Overall all, it's pricey but sulit!

Food & service is always impeccable in every Mary Grace restaurant I visited. It’s like a trip to Grandma’s. You feel well taken care of & the restaurant exudes a homey vibe. One has not dined at Mary Grace without trying their famous grilled ensaymada & hot chocolate combo! Try the classic tandem if you’re a first time diner. Since I’ve eaten at Mary Grace several times, my go-to choice is the Laguna Cheese Ensaymada & the hot chocolate with chili. Their hot chocolate is the only one that I drink, aside from my mom’s. Mary Grace’s hot chocolate comes close to my mom’s recipe, which is why I love it so much! It’s rich & comforting! I tried their pizza for the first time tonight too, & it was delicious! I ordered the prosciutto & arugula. It was great that it had mushrooms on it. I was expecting prosciutto & arugula only, so it was a pleasant surprise that there were 3 toppings instead of 2 on the pizza.
