Had the Quattro Formaggi pizza and it was okay. Really gooey mozzarella, but the crust tasted appalling. It tasted like mothballs. Not sure if the dough was the culprit or the wooden slab the pizza was served on. Also, while waiting for the food, I could hear the wonderful beeping sound of a microwave oven being used in the kitchen.Probably explains why the prices here are sooo affordable.

Food is good and definitely good for sharing unless you're really hungry. On my 2nd visit, I shared the New York Pizza and the Gamberetti Ravioli. I remember trying their Pesto Pasta on my first time and it was ok.

Probably one of the best. Other than wanting my pasta to be a bit more al dente, food tastes great. We had the carbonara, arrabiata, meatball, seafood pastas and 4 cheese pizza. Will surely return.

Had dinner here a couple of times with my family and their food never disappoints! It's kind of like a fine-dining restaurant but the ambience and environment is great because it's in a secluded area so it's not noisy at all. Their lamb was very soft and their mashed potatoes were flavored well. Definitely a good place to eat with the family or have a date with a significant other or catch up with friends!

As it is in a business center area, Buon Giorno was full of people when we ate here, though we were able to sit down quickly. We are fans of Italian food so we had a fantastic time -- we had the salmon risotto (very delicious and the creaminess is wonderful) and the seafood pizza (the crispy crust was good with the flavorful toppings). We got so full and weren't able to finish the pizza!!

Once I left my Raybans here and went back after a week, one server gave it back to me. Great servers. Good food. One server recommended the seafood puttanesca but changing it to white sauce and it was really good.

Been here several times and their food is consistently good. We love the clean tastes of their pizza and pasta. Last visit with roommate I had the spaghetti aglio e olio and he ordered the lasagne al forno. The spaghetti was good with the right amount of olive oil and saltiness from the anchovies but his spinach lasagna was better. We ordered the molten chocolate cake for dessert but this was a bit too sweet for me. He thinks it's a bit too pricey for just the two of us.

Good Italian restaurant in Rockwell Business Center along Ortigas Avenue. Resto was nearly empty on a Tuesday 9pm. We had the iced tea and dalandan juice. The iced tea is interesting with foam - but much sweeter than I like it to be. The Al Margherita pizza was ok. Eggplant Parmigiana was good; but somewhat less cheesy than optimum. Chocolate Sansrival was lovely. Our takeout, Beef Panino, was very good the next day. A nice peppery taste.

If you haven't tried it yet, get the Croquettes with Mozzarella for starters. The only problem you'll have with this dish is when it runs out. My favorite pasta is the Lasagne Al Forno, but I can never manage to finish the serving by myself. The Pescatore alla Puttanesca comes in second, but I was never strong enough for spicy dishes. Their iced tea has a sweet blend, as much froth as I'd like, and has the consistency of a sort of slush. Plus points for the novelty mug. Overall, the food is great. The ambiance, not so, but it's forgivable. P.S. Don't be ashamed to ask for more bread to eat with balsamic and oil.

I remember not being impressed when I first went to this restaurant years ago. Since coming back, I've come to view Buon Giorno as an acceptable option for speedily-served, Italian-themed food. The food portions seem reasonable. The complimentary bread was delicious with the oil and vinegar dip. The Buon Giorno's Special salad offered the right amount of crunch from the fruits and greens, as well as sweetness from the vinaigrette. The Spaghetti with Pesto sauce was underwhelming - there was not enough texture in the dish (a simple garnish of nuts and roasted garlic would have given better results), and the anchovies did not seem to go well with the pesto (grilled chicken would've offered a more neutral replacement, with the anchovies better off in an aglio olio dish). The Fettuccine Primavera with Pomodoro Sauce was surprisingly good and tasty for a no-meat pasta, offering enough crunch from all the veggies in it. It would be better if the sauce were a little less watery. The Green Mango Shake had the right balance of sweet and tangy, and is good for two.
