Bugsy's Bar and Bistro is a nice place with good location especially when you are a sports enthusiast. The place is quite small and crowded but the food is good. The bistro's ambiance is cozy, rustic, well lit (which diminished the coziness of the place in my opinion) but cramped. The huge bulk of wooden furnishing does not suit the small space. I am not a fan of small cramped places where you'll bump elbows with other diners and dining side by side (literally) with other people is unappetizing for me. I ordered the Bugsy Malone Angus Beef with a side dish of potato salad- the beef is tender and juicy- typical of a grade A meat and the potato salad is okay. This one I guess is the most expensive entree on their menu probably from the fact that the meat is imported but I don't think I'll be ordering this again considering the price, the tiny serving of the side dish and the not so good meat cut plus it was quite under seasoned. It really did not satisfy my appetite and hunger. Good thing I ordered the Southern Fried Pork Chops which is good with a delicately flavored gravy- this one is filling but nothing to rave about. Overall my own personal Bugsy experience did not went well with what I expected and this is just my genuine account of this dining journey.

Bugsy's shot is a must try. There's a little show when they serve the drink, energy matches the potency of the shot!

Good place to chill!Had a few martinis, the bugsy shot and bar chow.Fav martinis were the coco lychee martini with Malibu rum and the Tanqueray Martini. Lychee and Apple Martini were good too. The Bugsy Shot is a must try just for the way it's flambeed and presented.Among bar chow, the buffalo tenders lived up to its hype. It tasted great with the thick cheesy dip. Beef nachos were good too. And it's open until 4am which is a good thing for us night owls

I don't really hang out much but when I do, I make sure it would worth my while. Last week, some friends invited me for a post-Christmas hang out, and since the planned restaurant was no longer there, we went to Bugsy's instead. It was Friday night, apart from the noisy surrounding, everything was great! The service was superb, waiters were attentive and accommodating and the food was delicious. Beers were ice-cold so it was really a blast. Price was worth it.Recommendations on food: - Bugsy Siege - its a 400g US Angus ribeye that melts in your mouth.- Buffalo tenders - boneless chicken strips in buffalo sauce - perfect!- Texan Burger - 250g sirloin beef patty with fried calamari and barbecue sauce..yum!Have yet to try others, but will definitely come back!

My reviews are based on my own experiences therefore; they are factsWell well well... Started going here during training 2 years ago since I was scheduled in the morning shift.Food - they serve great bar foods. I like the wings, and platter. The serving can always be shared. My partner tried the pork chops and boy it was huge! But the downside is that the meat is chewy. It needs more boiling/tenderizing.Drink selection is amazing! They both have local and imported beers and wines. The mojito is just good. Not my favorite but I could drink it. The mojito we had in Palawan is still the best.Service - oh they are great! We love them. They are very attentive and polite. They would be glad to grant your request if you have any. Kudos to their manager as well, but I am very sorry I forgot your name. He changed the tv channel for us to see the last FIFA. And then on the finals, we had the good seats! Thanks a lot. We also won a havaianas GC. Yipeee!Ambiance - it is classy gentleman club type of place. Nice environment for bonding after work and meeting with friends. I just don't like the guests. They try to be "pasosyal" and some of them are "pabebe".It tends to be super cold inside and too humid outside. They have big ass TVs so that is great if you are seated outside, you can still watch some sportsValue for money - reasonable! Its a classy place with great service. No complainsCHEERS MATE!!

There wasn't anything special with it..it felt warmed up in the microwave.Oh and no ice cream. Just whipped cream.I shall try their other food items that they offer.

Crappy food:- Calamari was all breading and super oily)Crappy service:- staff was friendly but the order took forever to arrive.Crappy pricing:- Paid P540 for the Calamari and 2 beers. We paid P570 for a dozen chicken wings and two beers at Frankie's.. Go figure.Gave a 2.0 rating because the petite security guy was friendly. My friend and I tried 4 bars at City Golf that night ( Happy Hour, Locale, Bugsy's and Frankie's) and Frankie's was head above shoulders the best among them. Bugsy's was the worst.

I like their buy 1 take 1 promo for beer which i was not able to experience because that time i was taking antibiotics. i ordered the potato wedges (for the love of potatoes) however it was bland and undercooked. I also tried their cranberry juice, nothing special.

It is with great sadness that I write this review. A year ago, I would have given Bugsy's five stars. Sadly, it has become a cheapened version of what it once was. Bugsy's is a 1920's themed restaurant with very elegant decor. However, the menu doesn't quite match anymore. The menu is normal stuff, heavy on the burgers/American fare. I ordered the Greek Salad yet the lettuce seemed sad (old), and the feta cheese crumbles were very off. My main course, Chicken Rosemary, was quite bland & dry. I was sorely disappointed, considering I raved and raved over their Nachos a year ago. I can't help but make comparisons to the previous times we were there a year ago. The service was top notch, very classy and professional, dinner was served on china, the food was expensive but it was good. Now, the service is mediocre and common, rates for the dinner menu has been raised but the elegance has been pushed aside, only some of the meal is served on nice plates, and the food is sub-standard.Overall, Bugsy's is now on my Hits&Miss list; nothing remarkable anywhere else. Essentially, Bugsy's sticks to the generic American formula for restos/pubs, and I suppose that's the main challenge that needs immediate attention from here on.
