Dishes that I love here:- Pancit Lucban- Pork Sisig- Leche Flan- Longganisa- Molo Soup- Fresh LumpiaDelicious Filipino dishes at a reasonable price. This is one of the few "non-fastfood" options in the area. We ussually end up here for lunch out for minor celebrations at my former office because of its proximity, food quality, and quick service. Serving sizes are good and food is always freshly-prepared.Place is clean, serving time is reasonable, ( but the staff are not very attentive, especially when you're on the 2nd floor dining area).

I was about to exit when I was informed that there's meat in their fresh lumpia but they later told me that their fried vegetable lumpia is vegan. It is delicious when it's dipped with their signature vinegar sauce.

As their tagline says "dito parang laging fiesta"Servings are really huge, one order is likely to be shared by two people.Even though it takes a very long time for the orders to be served, it is worth the wait since the food here are savory. They cater lutong bahay and original Filipino food. It is very ideal to eat in groups in this place. My wavemaves' list of favourite orders:-Lumpiang Sariwa-Lechong Paksiw (my personal favourite:-Pork Sisig-Bulalo

This place is like a little slice of home with all its comforts. Buddy's may not look like much from the outside, (my folks questioned if the place was even open before we made our way inside), but when you step in the door, it's a completely different vibe. It looked like another take-out Filipino style food place, but there was an entryway to the right that leads into a much larger dining area. We ordered the pancit Lucban, chicken barbecue, beef caldereta, longganisa, bangus sisig, and sizzling tanigue. Our eyes were much bigger than our appetites because we ended up taking a lot home. Everything was delicious and the meat portions were very generous. I, personally, am not a fan of pancit and never have been despite it always being there at family gatherings. However, Buddy's Pancit was absolutely delicious and even my mum said it was on par with my grandma's version of the dish; We were both in heaven. It was super hot out and halo halo sounded perfect, but unfortunately, they only have the mais con hielo available that time. I'll have to come back again and save room to try one, or two, of their many desserts. It's hard to find nice sit down Filipino restaurants, so Buddy's is a place to always keep in mind. I just wish it was closer to where I live.

Being in Makati I have been eating occasionally here for 10 years. The food is good and affordable. The pansit bihon is really good.  The pansit and pizza is what you should be eating here because not all dishes are that unique for you to order here like yesterday I orderered Inihaw na porkchop 2pcs (there is no 1 pc for Inihaw) and it was ok but not something you should try here. Longanisa is also good.

First time to write a review cause I had to send my appreciation for my visit. I really enjoyed our get together. I'm glad we chose to have it here. Great food and the staff was very nice. I'll be bringing more friends and my family next time :)

My all-time favorite is the sizzling squid. Super favorite that I can eat two orders in one meal. 😜💕❤💜💚😘💙😍 Their Pancit Lucban is also one of my favorites.

Their lucban longganissa and pancit are good but I guess it stops there. The sisig is just right but when I ordered kaldereta I am really disappointed. I still would like to try other dishes so it may salvage the impression I have with them. The space is also a bit uncomfortable and the servers are not that attentive to their customers.

As for someone who grew up from a family that's from Lucban, I must say that this is our go-to restaurant when we miss Lucban and all its food, delicacies and vibe. Once you're inside the restaurant, it's as if it takes you back to their original Lucban branch. All the kiping, the sunflower design, the chairs, everything is the same. Plus the staff they hire are also from Quezon that's why I feel always at home whenever we go to any Buddy's branch. Of course, I love the pansit habhab and longganisa, hardinera and budin. Tried sizzling chicken teriyaki chicken barbecue and both are also good. I just wish they bring back the kinulob, I miss this food from their menu. Anyway, just be prepared to smell like 'Buddy's' when you dine here as you will smell like 'Buddy's'. Trust me, I used to eat here during lunch time when I used to work in Ortigas. Hehe but it doesn't hinder us because the cravings are much stronger! 🤣 #yum

UPDATE: Skip their Bulalo. It had no litid and barely had meat. It was basically just bone and tough thin meat. They just filled it with vegetables. Porkchop was huge and it had a homey-cooking taste. However, the gravy was made from seasoning mix that was not dissolved well. UPDATE: Their 2 pc. fried chicken was acceptable. Service was sufficient enough. But there were several shards of bone embedded in random places in the chicken meat so let's just say that the meal was not teeth-friendly. Maybe they should talk to their supplier. Also tried their special palabok, you can skip it. Mistook the diced squid for diced carrots because it was "orange" from the artificial coloring used in the palabok sauce. The best palabok in Metro Manila is TITA LULU'S located in San Juan Plaza right across Puregold Agora. In Tita Lulu's the base of the sauce was really made with shrimp which you can taste. Topped with ground chicharon, slices of hard boiled egg, and pieces of lechon kawali. You can choose if the noodles are thin (classic) or thick (like those used in pancit malabon).---Food was just okay and the quality of service was not outstanding. Here, the larger serving size is limiting as it prevents you from ordering several dishes at a time when you are dining in a small group. It was disheartening to see that the coffee is just instant 3-in-1 powder mix. They serve you hot water in a cup with a stirring spoon and the coffee powder sachet.
