Had a good South East Asian medley here. Our beverages Iced Teh Tarik and Lemongrass with honey were ok.Roti Prata with Curry Sauce was a good appetizer. Quite authentically Malaysian.Beef Rendang was good, with the sauce being very tasty. The beef chunks were ok. Stir fried mixex vegetables with salted fish Thai Style was just ok. Nasi Lemak was good and quite a big serving

Service is excellent! The staff were very friendly, one of them even asked gave our dog carrots from the kitchen :) will definitely try the other items in the menu.Their Phad Thai banana leaf style is yumm! Vietnamese coffee is a little too sweet.

We got the gadogado and the lamb rendang. The peanut sauce needs to be nuttier for me. It's a small order too so I'll probably order 2 of these if I decide to try this again. Lamb rendang was ok. It's a full plate but it has mostly fries garlic and coconut. Almost no sauce at all, which rendang is. But I liked the combination of the veggie and meat we ordered.

Disappointed with the chicken curry and potatoes. It's 40% sauce, 40% potatoes, and 20% chicken. The lady was nice and apologetic about my complaint, but she said only 5 pcs of (very bony) chicken is alloted for the dish. Not worth it.

Loved the food. It was our first time to dine at Banana Leaf and the waiter was able to provide good description of the food. He also gave his recommendations.Wait time for the food was about 10-15mins. But it was worth the wait.

Banana Leaf Asian Cafe provides you a gastronomical tour across South East Asia with a variety of cuisine coming from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia etc. You can enjoy seafood dishes that this particular region of this world is blessed with. Drinks they serve are as diverse, with blends of tropical fruits and distinct signature teas. We ordered the Satay, Malaysian Curry, Tilapia with@ Tamarind Sauce, Sauteed Vegetables, Pad Thai Noodles, and some Rice Cake desserts. Everything was heavenly, though I noticed that everything tasted really sweet except for the vegetables. It was a very good experience and service was pretty good too. I would definitely visit this place again. Price per head Php 350 - 700.

I only care about two things: Roti Canai (pronounced as "cha-nai") and Curry Sauce. Any food viand ordered here must include this combination, or I can have the duo alone. It is fun to tear and dip the bread and it's always downright pleasing to my taste buds! Food here is literally eaten on banana leaves. Imagine how much easier it is for their staff to clean dishes! Their staff is attentive and accommodating.

The food is yum but the curry is not authentic enough. I’ve tasted the curries from Malaysia, Singapore and India, and it’s really not the same. The curry here tastes like what we cook at home (using curry powder bought from the grocery store). Maybe it has been already adjusted to Filipino taste. Don’t get me wrong, it’s delicious though. We also ordered the fried squid, tastes like calamares. I was hoping there’s sambal on the side but there’s none.

Banana Leaf, Estancia MallIt is my first time to eat in this restaurant, the fusion of asian tastes could be eaten here.Saw nasi lemak in the menu and thought we could give it a try... but we did not ordered that ahahaha. Instead we ordered the following:#Rotti with curry sauce and condensed milk... i kinda like the blend of curry sauce but I am not a fan of star anise, so its 3.5/5... and I like the rotti to be a little bit cripier...#PomeloSalad since I have tasted this in other restaurants, I also tried it here for comparison. The pomelo is great, the sweet n sour taste of the fruit is just right, but it seems that the fish sauce (or whatever that ingredient is) has overpowered the taste and was thankful enough to taste 1 piece of shrimp (which was sliced in half - umasa pa nmn ako na 1 whole sya, nasaktan tuloy ako ahahha). It is said to be for sharing, but I ate it all by myself ahahah (kulang pa). I would give it a 3.5/5 rate though, for the presentation and the taste? #HainaneseChicken, I am not a fan of the dish ahahha... but I would give it a 3/5 for the presentation and the spicy bean paste? The vegetable dish, which I already forgotten the name, is just ok... the vegetables are still crisp and savory... and i love the whole mushroom. I would give it a 4/5, just because we need to love veggies! haha#VietnameseRice is 4.5/5! Almost perfect! #IcedTea hmmm it's a milk tea... 4/5, did not enjoyed the last drop though, the straw used is too short and I hate it! bwahhaah! #BananaLeafService is 5/5, all smiles, attentive and accomodating. Thank you!But still, it is up to you to find out.

We brought our dog with us, a small pomeranian, and asked politely if we could sit in the corner (beside what seems to be the cashier) and they let us. We usually hang out here in Estancia because it is pet friendly. We were already able to eat together WITH our dog at the other restos also located inside the mall just like Banana Leaf (e.g. PB&Co, Mary Grace, Coco Ichibanya, etc) but this is the first time we tried at the said resto itself. They took our orders and not long enough after that, the cashier and one of the servers started murmuring while looking at us. Soon a group of their servers are talking with each other in the middle while staring at us until one came forward at our table and told us that they can't actually accommodate dogs. The way they treated us was just so impolite. The place wasn't packed when we were there, in fact aside from us, only one family was seated. A lot of them including the male manager was just standing scattered around their premises so how come they weren't able to come up to us the moment we asked for a table with our dog? We decided to just pay for whatever's already cooked from our orders and leave although again, that happened just a few minutes after ordering. Lo and behold we paid 926php for a tiny serving of oat prawns, rice(?!), and kangkong. We eat from their other branches so we know that their oat prawns' serving's just too small for 488php. Very bad experience
