If I could rate lower, I would. First, cramped space. They open at 11:30 and we were there at 11. But once we got inside, they're not ready. They're having trouble placing our group (21 pax) in 1 long table so what one table usually is for 4 people, we ended up with 5-6 people just so they can push in more guests. It's pretty difficult since there are a lot of plates and there's a grill at the middle. It takes them so long to replenish fast moving items such as beef slices for grilling. The oil from the grill leaks on the floor which calls for safety as we don't know if it can catch fire and is also dangerous to people walking around as it's very slippery. After alerting the staff of the oil leak, they turned the grill off without saying anything. Note that I was cooking something in the grill. I thought that it may be a safety precaution but after a few minutes of waiting, the staff didn't return to give us the go signal to cook. And of course, the leak didn't stop. We just got frustrated and gave up on grilling. Aside from that, it was very hot inside the establishment. This particular branch already got a bad rep. Still gave it a chance though. Never again.

I celebrated my birthday here with my friend.. since we're bOth pig-eater and a #japanesecuisine lover we decided to eat here.. i luv it here.. especiially the grilling part cuz u decide to make ur own grills and they have this tons of choices from raw fishes & seafoods to meats & saussages.. luv it.. and the amviance really good.. and i luv their kimchi, it was really nice and different from before.. try the Ampalaya kimchi.. 👍👍👍

This is my first time to eat in Yakimix. I bought our voucher in Metrodeal. It was a nice deal. We saved 250php for 2 person. We just wanted to experienced their buffet because of the restaurant's popularity. The store's location is quite untidy. Maybe because there's a variety of restaurant that serves fresh seafood there. I heard it was called Dagat-dagatan. And you have to pay 30pesos for parking fee. Anyways, if you bought a voucher you have to make a reservation a week before or you wouldn't be allowed to enter the place. But I must admit that their food is delicious, there's a variety of dish to choose. Their meat is well-seasoned but if you're not a heavy eater I'll suggest that you pick a thin sliced meat and avoid eating lots of rice. I gave them 4 star because of the store's location and their manager is not as friendly unlike his crew. But don't get me wrong, he didn't treat us badly, but it felt like he's just forcing his self to accommodate us. But no harm done. Maybe the guy is just having a bad day. P.S. It is also quite hot. An upgrade of their air-conditioned would be great.
