Once again a branch of Yabu doesn’t disappoint. This time I decided to try the Original Katsudon Set (Hire). It was so filling. I actually prefer the Katsu sets and Curry sets usually, but wanted to try something different for a change. Tried the wasabi sauce/dressing for the first time too. Can’t believe I haven’t had it before!!

Yabu has a huge seating capacity at MOA branch. They never disappoint me. Unlimited rice! Katsu is one of my favorites. I will always go back here.

My go-to katsu restaurant. Wanted to get their menchi katsu, but it wasn’t available during our visit so I got their katsudon instead which was still as good as I remembered it to be. Place was nice and we were seated as soon as we entered the restaurant. It was a bit hard to call the attention of the servers and we had a hard time flagging them down to get our bill. Other than that minor inconvenience, the food was served quickly so it wasn’t all that bad.

Reataurant is OK.Pros: Good quality katsu and unli serving of side dishes.Cons: Quality of fruits degrades once you request for additional. Katsu is a bit on the bland side since Japanese cuisines use little to no salt. For the price, I'd rather go to samgyupsal joints.

Talk about “sulit” Japanese dining experience and I’d answer, “Yabu”! Unlimited rice (white/brown), miso soup, cabbage, and fruits (pineapple & watermelon). What I like about their outlet here is upon being seated, their staff would gladly offer an overview about how to enjoy your dining experience.
