There is nothing more  captivating to this website-mom-of-4 who loves Japanese food than  a spread that is all about  sushis and sashimi. It has been a while since my last food trip at the MOA branch of Watami and I was excited to try their new sushi rolls.Note their NEW BRANCH at Ayala North Exchange which opened last May 24....

Place 🌟🌟🌟🌟Very classic and cozy. Spacious but not well-lit. Food 🌟🌟🌟🌟Great dishes but kinda small servings. We were expecting it to be at least good for two people. Maybe we’re just heavy eaters. A bit pricey as well, but we think it’s worth it. Service 🌟🌟🌟🌟Staff are friendly and accommodating. But food takes a while before they get served.

Had a nice Japanese lunch here in Watami. It wasn't our intention to dine here, but I wanted sushi, and my date wanted Katsu. The other options only had one or the other; so after checking our options, we ended up here. No regrets though. We were so full afterwards, and all of our orders were delicious, and served warm. First things first, we're happy our Katsu Curry turned out to be good - with the Katsu itself really soft, and the curry sauce generous. Salmon sashimi is alright, but the spicy salmon roll and tuna tako aburi were superb. Our only complaint was our tableside soy sauce. It tasted a bit diluted and off which influenced the taste of the overall rolls and sushi. No complaints on the tempura as well, for P375, servings were generous, with shrimp, squid, mushroom, and vegetables. You can never go wrong with deep fried!

We're back to Watami and we are ready to devour! We are pleased on their branch in Uptown Mall to the point that we've created a blog review for it (hey, that's a cue! check our blogsite!). Back then we weren't able to try their sushi but when we visited the MOA branch, we are ecstatic to try some items on their menu. The place is great, bright, vibrant - ambiance you need to get you on your eating mood. The place is great but the food is top notch, the sushi are just perfect, it's fresh, it's bold and it's exciting. The staff are great, prompt, neat and very accommodating. They still have their standard high and the overall quality of their brand is just skyhigh for now.Let's rate them shall we? Food: 5/5Ambiance: 5/5Service: 5/5Value for money: 5/5

good food but i have tasted better with less cost.. the high price does not justify the portion that is served.. i was expecting large portion due to the high cost lol.. anyway, the food was ok and typical japanese taste.. i told the waiter that its my wifes bday today.. and she said they give cake to bday celebrants which didnt came.. oh well i didnt bother to ask for it.. and the most annoying thing is that they keep pushing that bistro card to my wife to the point that i have the one to tell them we wont get.. the restaurant is beautiful and cozy ambience.. waiters are very accomodating and attends to you.. it was my first time with watami..

Hands down, one of my favorite Japanese casual restaurants in MOA! My favorite dishes are the ramen, salmon stone pot, and deep fried pork cutlet. I also think Watami's has very quality sushi than most sushi restaurants. While trendy Japanese casual restaurants are sprouting up all over Manila, Watami's remains true to authentic Japanese dishes and is the reason why I constantly crave Japanese food!

Great food. Good value for money. The ambiance is great for romantic dates. I personally love the salmon aburi and their heavenly delicious passion fruit mango tea. I also loved the fact that they do not offer straws for their beverages - a simple act of saving the earth which Im definitely advocating right now. Overall it was a great experience. It becomes one of the restaurants that we go back to when it comes to Japanese cuisine.

Great variety of Japanese food! Everything we ordered were delicious especially the sushi, aburi and their beef pepper rice. The place was nice and not crowded at all. Quite pricey but i still recommend trying this place!!
