The first time I entered (and when I was still outside) this restaurant, I was already amazed by their stunning interior and fine dining set up. Aside from the dining, they also have HUGE set ups on different teas you will not find in the market. They are available for sale.I went around 10-11PM just after dinner to have some tea and I know that this place offers a wide array of choices. Service is very commendable! Staff were really courteous, well trained and they are aware of their products. I ordered the Creme Brûlée tea and paired it with a Matcha macaron. I wasnt disappointed, their tea is out of my tastebuds' world and their Macaron, good as well. I loved it! Highly recommendable place to have long talks and relaxation. Quiet, peaceful and unbothered. The place is usually uncrowded, thus; its perfect for me. ❤️

After our dinner, we walked around Resorts World and stumbled upon TWG. As I love their macarons, we ended up going inside. I ordered 3 pieces of their Napoleon salted caramel macarons and wwww it's super delicious. My mom and I shared a pot of moroccan mint tea, which was good too. Ambiance was really nice, we were the only customers at the time so the place felt really private - though there were some customers that went to buy tea/macarons for take away. Service was good too. Anyway, if ever we end up at Resort's World again, I'd probably go and drop by for some tea and macarons! This time I'll order other flavors too haha.

Visit: Dec. 6, 2016Since me and my man frequent Resorts World Newport, I convinced him to try TWG. It was a great experience. The place would've been the perfect place for us cos it's not crowded, kind of fancy, and nice ambiance. However, I think we were underwhelmed by the food we ordered given how pricey they are. I cannot recall everything and the menu here is no help because it's not actually updated. If I remember correctly, we orderedSmoked Salmon (salad for him)Shrimp w/ Scallops Linguine (for me)Soup of the day (cream of asparagus I think)Matchsticks Potatoes with Truffle (Duh, french fries with truffle)I had a red tea (iced) (wasn't able to understand what it's called cos the server spoke fast and I didn't want him to feel like I was too hard on him so I just said yes)He had somewhat similar but hot (same thing, he just said yes but he liked his tea anyway.)I personally think that the menu was too wordy and I normally freak out so I tend to just ask the server what's good or I'll just point to something and normally agree. The salmon was okay. What else can you expect from a smoked salmon salad, right? I guess it's still fulfilling though.Asparagus soup was okay. I liked the texture. The flavor was not really surprising. It's just asparagus soup I guess. But I love asparagus! I'd say it was far from bad.Shrimp and Scallop pasta was okay. Maybe because I've tasted so many kinds and its flavor did not please me. I often cook shrimp pasta and I think I prefer my own. But this one's not bad. The truffle fries. Oh man. I regretted ordering these. I didn't know it was potato fries. I thought mashed potato. LOL! Folks, read the menu and ask the servers so you won't end up like this!It was uhm. FRIES. with some truffle flavor. It was totally unnecessary!BTW, we did not order any dessert or sweets. I wasn't even able to finish my iced tea. But it was really good. RatePrice - 3.3Food - 3.5Place - 4My man found it too pricey. And I agree. Okay. I personally think that the drinks are the major contributor to the pricey bill. If I remember correctly, we paid for almost P3,000 just for these. I can totally understand that their teas can be a little pricey. And I feel a little sad that we were not able to finish it. I want to come back to try their teas and desserts but I don't think my man would join me. This place has a special target market. Even if we can afford it, it's definitely not us.PSI've tried 2 macarons c/o an officemate. They are good! Sweet, but good! I am not sure of this but I think they infuse their macarons (and other dishes I guess) with their teas. Which is why they're pricey!I want to come back.. but.. maybe if I'm feeling soshal nalang with my other friends. Hehe

I love that their macarons are infused with tea which gave them their uniqueness. A bit on the pricey side but if you want to indulge on a genuine afternoon tea experience, this is the perfect place for you.

Went here to treat my friend for her birthday. The numerous tea choices were VERY overwhelming! Each of us got different flavors (we planned to drink from each others cup but it's not recommended! You won't grasp the entire flavor of yours if you keep on sipping on others cup!)I HIGHLY suggest SILVER MOON GREEN TEA. The flavor is so light, very nostalgic and 'berry' smooth (see what I did there?)As for entrees, being a carbs monster, I got the TWG Tea Lasagna, stuffed with fresh garden vegetables. Honestly, I was dumbfounded,"Aren't you supposed to stuff a lasagna with...meat?"But goodness gracious, forget what I said, it was absolutely divine. Their homemade tomato and basil sauce infused with Moroccan Mint was the deal sealer - FOODGASM was violent.Read my entire TWG experience here:plaincutouts.wordpress.com/2014/09/24/twg-tea-salon-boutique-a-night-of-pretending-of-knowing-how-to-use-silver-cutlery-and-gold-plated-teapots/Loved it. Ate canned tuna for the rest of the week, but every peso was worth.

I really love their macarons! For me, it is one of the best. And also, their staff is so hospitable. I love the ambiance in this place. (Maybe because of the interior and the kind of music they play. I recommend this to those people who want to chill. ?

TWG Macarons are unique. That's for sure. They're inexpensive considering the price you'd usually pay for Pierre Hermé or Ladurée. And they really are quite tasty. Because they're a tea focused business, it's understandable that most, if not all, they're products are tea-influenced. It certainly transcends onto their macarons. What makes them unique over other macarons is that their flavours have a very strong tea influence. Which makes it just awesome as you get different flavours here and there. It actually makes you wanna try their teas too! Which is why they did that in the first place, I reckon. Clever thinking, TWG. They certainly lean on the sweeter side rather than bitter or classic flavours. They, like Pierre Hermé, like to experiment with flavours. Give it a go if you'd like, but you must be a sweet tooth like me. ;)

If you brand yourself as a tea lover, you definitely know how to handle that tea craving and where's the best place to treat yourself. Known not only as a restaurant but as a veritable tea institution, TWG has become the authority for anything related to the world of tea. TWG Tea's ambiance alone exhilarates me at any time of the day. Let me pass by any TWG store in the mall and it will take me about 10 seconds to stare before I look back to my own right of way. Favorites:Lasagna (Php 380) - Bolognese ragout with TWG's signature homemade tomato and fresh basil sauce infused with Moroccan Mint Tea. You can't resist the meaty layers of TWG's lasagna. I specifically go back for their lasagna with my cup of tea!Mini Burgers - A team of 3 distinctive miniature burgers - wagyu burger with homemade TWG Tea cocktail sauce, foie gras burger with fresh apple chutney and spicy chicken burger with sautéed shallot confit. All 3 mini buns served with a mass of mixed greens and marinated cherry tomatoes topped with 1837 Green Tea infused vinaigrette. For more details and photos, visit my food blog! :)Pray, Eat and Love.Cheers,The Food Scout

First of all, let me tell you how ashamed I am of myself, being the food blogger that I am, that I didn't take heart in using my DSLR here (though I did bring it with me).   So pardon me for the terrible photos taken with my Samsung S3 and husband's LG 3D Optimus (for the last three photos below). So, here's how my Valentine's Day for 2013 went.

TWG Location
