Do you believe in the saying, "you get what you pay for?" This holds true at Sakae Sushi - for their sushi buffet that is. I'm not saying their food isn't good. It is. It's just... limited. Limited in choice and sometimes, in taste. My favorite sushi dish however they serve is called Tamago Mayo (egg with mayo). Their salmon sushi is ok too.

It took us about a year to visit Sakae Sushi and it was just a little too underwhelming. Great price for the amount of food you can eat but the taste is just way too limited. There were just about 10 types of sushi to choose from when we went there. The conveyor belt is great though. It was fun. We also ordered a ramen dish that felt like it was just an instant noodle with added veggies and meat. If you want quantity, this place is good. If you want great taste and options, there are other options way

I've been here before about 6 years ago and your craving for sushi will be satisfied. Reasonable price for the amount of sushi you can dig into. The sushi are freshly made and a perfect green tea is best with the sushi you can have it as cold or hot. I recommend going here hungry as sushi is very heavy in the stomach so you can try every selection they have.

We wanted to try something new so we opted to have sushi buffet on a conveyer belt at 399 Php. They don't have much sushi choices though and they also included calamares and tofu in their buffet menu. Weird. The rice is also too much and it's something we're not going to crave for again. Once is enough.

Heaven sent for sushi lovers at an affordable price! This is a perfect place if you have all the time to chat while enjoying the conveyor bringing you your fave plate of makis, sushis, and sashimis.

This is a typical "Bait & Switch". Advertise sushi and serve the worst representation of it. I know all about food cost, but if you advertise sushi, then serve sushi. The selection also varies if you decide on the buffet. Had to get up on a number of occasions and get sushi from the other conveyor belt. And girl who seated is acted like we we invisible. When you have to wVe your hands in the air there is a problem, especially when they just walk past you and ignore you.

If you're looking for a place to fill your stomach and leave you full for the day, Sakae Sushi is definitely the place to be. Their sushi buffet is nothing really special, but there were a few good sushis here and there which I enjoyed. The only thing I would like to mention is that their crabsticks do not look like real ones as they're pinkish and not like the red ones. The buffet came with a complimentary miso soup and bottomless green tea. The miso soup was good and the green tea was really helpful in digesting. Tip : have the hot one instead of the iced one. Another separate dish we had was their gyoza and it was definitely a so-so dish. Service was okay but the soup and the drinks came in really late and we even had to ask for them to be served. The place is perfect for people who suddenly crave for sushi, I guess

Known for their conveyor belt sushi, Sakae sushi has a wide array of sushi variance from the classic california maki to tuna sashimi. Price of each sushi depends on the color of the plate. A nice place to try different kinds of sushi served in a traditional japanese style :)
