I can describe Recipes as an old reliable restaurant that serves good food. The favorite dish that has defined them is their General's chicken. This favorite of mine has a sweet soy taste that gives this dish its unique taste. I also like their Gising Gising. It has the right spiciness that goes with its gata taste. Will defintely go back when I have that craving for General's Chicken.Food - 4.5Ambience - 3.5Service - 4.0

BAD SERVICE 👎🏻 This bbq chicken took more than 30 minutes to be cooked and served. Ironically, we were the first customers in the store when they opened at 12NN, and many others who came much later were served with their food first. When we asked the servers why it's taking too long, they just simply said, "matagal po talaga yun lutuin eh". Seriously? How is that acceptable? To make matters worse, when we asked how much time it would take, they said "5-7 minutes" so when 7 minutes passed, we followed up on our order once again, and they seemed so clueless. They couldn't even look us in the eyes.Terrible, terrible service.

Tried their garlic chicken, general's chicken, gising gising, bangus steak, and pork adobo flakes. I liked their chicken dishes as well as the gising gising, both the garlic chicken and the general's chicken was pretty good. The gising gising was solid. The adobo flakes was a bit dry, while the bangus was so so. Recipes is a nice value for money place, you can get a good meal for very fair prices.

Dinner at Recipes. Our go to resto for affordable and delicous filipino foods. We ordered what we always ordered the sotanghon soup, beef steak, lechon kawali with kangkong etc. Love the food. Service is good.

My husband was craving for Curry so we checked Recipes. We waited for a bit and was seated at the corner of the resto since it was full house that night. He ordered right away for Chicken Curry and I had the Adobo Flakes, requested for tomatoes on the side which the waiter agreed with. The menu offers you the normal filipino dishes. When our orders came, we felt very sad. The chicken curry was good for 1 person and looked very very dry. The adobo flakes serving was big enough but it looked very sad too. We did not enjoy our dinner at all because of the sad presentation of our orders. The service was okay, but a bit slower since it was Christmas season, we do understand that we need to wait. Price of food did not justify the look and the taste of the dishes. Always a bad experience whenever we dine at Recipes.

I like their General's Chicken the most. Kare-kare was just mediocre for me. Crispy tilapia is something that I can order again. So-so experience for me.

Delicious Filipino food. The prices are reasonable. Fish escabeche was good. Korean beef stew was soft but salty. This branch is a little small. Make sure to make a reservation especially on weekends.

I've dined at this place twice now and each time the quality of food is just saddening. Seriously. We ordered the adobo flakes and we got barely recognizable adobo flakes heavily coated with flour. And the sauce it came with was bland. If we weren't so hungry I wouldn't have eaten it. My friend got the bangus steak which was okay. Nothing special. It was a little bland too. My mom's bangus steak tastes better. They seriously need to reevaluate their recipes.

We ordered ala carte meals with complimentary rice and iced tead. Korean bbq, Garlic chicken and Pork inihaw. Not bad for less than 200 pesos.

We ordered the following: Lechong Kawali with Kangkong, Dinuguan, Chopsuey, Bagus with Mango Salsa. None of the dishes served had that "wow" factor. It wasn't bad, but I wasn't good either.
