This is one of our go to Ramen restaurants. Our ultimate favorite is the Original Butao King. The soup has thick and rich flavor. We also ordered Chicken Karaage.

Got to drop by at Ramen Nagi one early afternoon to try their popular tonkotsu ramen that's thoroughly Japanese in taste. In fact, Ramen Nagi is a popular Tokyo based ramen restaurant that made its way to the Philippine shore some years back. I tried the Green King Tonkotsu ramen because I was intrigued with its ingredients. It was my first time to hear such variety. I was fascinated with it because I love food that represents nature like matcha, etc. So when I tasted it, the variety is a bit different. It's like a gourmet on a French or Italian resto. It has a mix of basil, pesto, cheese in a silky broth topped with a slice of Tonkotsu. My two friends ordered Butao ramen, the original ramen recipe. I tried a bit of it and it has a rich flavor, but not too spicy. It's quite pricey but worth the value of money because per bowl, which has a tag price of 400 pesos, is good for sharing.Unlike other ramen restos I have visited, Ramen Nagi in Mall of Asia is quite different, it has a very busy atmosphere, reddish interior which made the place a bit hot and uncomfortable, the area is quite small and usually it is jampacked.

My boyfriend loves ramen that any ramen reataurant will do. But he loved that he can customized the toppings and flavors and that it has a level of spiceness. The place was very crowded but it really felt like you are in a ramen place in Japan 😊

Food Ordered:Butao KingLimited Edition: Tokyo Sukiyaki KingHad to lower down a star for this experience due to the ramen bowls that were served. It was less creamy that I expected. I loved the creaminess of Ramen Nagi's Butao King but this time, it was different. The flavor wasn't strong. With the Tokyo Sukiyaki King, it's a different take on Sukiyaki. I loved the raw egg on top and the sweet beef strips! I still prefer this dish with rice though. Overall, it was still a good experience. The noodles were firm to bite.
