Potts Point here in the Philippines is where you can have a taste of Multicultural and Modern Australia. It's not just a restaurant, it's a HYBRID of two establishments, they give equal importance to coffee, and good food #yummiez

The food here is extremely impressive, with it's one of a kind taste. The organic food makes every meal feel light and healthy. The serving may be not as much as you'll expect but it would be totally worth the money. The place seems a bit dull and service is not great, but the food makes you want to visit the resto more often.

Potts Point is a new restaurant that opened recently at SM Mall of Asia. Their name is inspired from an actual place at Australia and they aim to serve organic and healthy dishes.SoupsMy favorite was the one with the longest name; the Roasted Organic Butternut Squash Soup with Organic Bacon, and Cream Cheese Ravioli or simply the squash soup. I found the first two bland for my taste. On the other hand, aside from the squash’s natural taste; it had crunchy bacon bits and a chewy ravioli that sunk in the soup.Salmon Teriyaki with Pumpkin Risotto – PHP 495The teriyaki sauce adds sweetness to the fresh feeling of the salmon while the risotto flavor was bland. You have to mix them together to appreciate it.Australian Lamb Spaghetti Bolognese – PHP 320 (Solo)/ 570 (sharing)My first question was.. where’s the lamb? I was expecting chunks of lamb as toppings but maybe that was asking for too much? Instead, you get bits of lamb concealed over a “light” Bolognese pasta.Vietnamese-Style Organic Slow Roast Pork Belly with Nuoc Cham and Pineapple Rice – PHP 390 (solo) / 695 (sharing)Among all the dishes available, only the roast pork was abundant in serving size especially on the rice portion. The pork was fork-tender with a crunchy skin that’s good with its sour dip. When paired with their pineapple rice, you get a nice sweet and sour feeling!Pan-Seared Salmon with Dill Butter, Beet Root Puree and Creamy Mashed Potato – PHP 495A second salmon dish but cooked differently. Loved how fresh (did I say use the same adjective again?) and juicy it was.In the end, I was the only one rubbing my full tummy as I was the one who had the roast pork. Potts Points serves delicious food but it makes me wonder if organic should really be expensive? If I were to recommend a dish, I’d pick the roast pork.

If you're a regular at MOA, you're tired of dining at the usual restaurants, and you want to try something new, then Pott's Point is the place for you! It has pretty nice interiors and it's a well-lit dining area. Food was definitely good! It was nice that they offer their customers the choice to go solo or sharing (at a fair price!) for a certain dish. We had the coconut cream carbonara with organic roast pork belly (which definitely tasted like coconuts, thus the umay feeling in the end.. But hey the roast pork belly was pretty good), the trio of organic mushroom ravioli with parmesan cream sauce (giving this a thumbs up!), the squid ink spaghetti (didnt really get to sample this but I believe it was good.. It was definitely nice seeing friends with black lips!!), and of course, the oozin ozzie chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, which was definitely a hit among my friends and I! It was so good we definitely wanted a second serving! Definitely adding this to my list of favorite lava cakes! Service was pretty good too, considering that we were the only ones dining at that time! They were alert on giving us their house water whenever we finish ours!Overall, it was a good dining experience! Might actually come back to try their risottos!

Been excited to try this place since a friend of mine raved about their Eastwood branch. The MOA experience was good. The squid ink pasta and meat pie were satisfyingly ok. However the place itself kind of lacked charm and character. This mostly white branch looks a bit severe and clinical, unlike its chic boho looking sister in Eastwood.

So, let me tell you our experienced. We tried different foods that they served and even the food that they only serve there alone. We have Shakshuka with Organic Port Sausage and Organic Egg with Toasted Baguette for the appetizer which is kinda sour in taste but yummy because it complements the Baguette. Next is Cream of Organic Cauliflower Soup with Truffle Foam which I also like because I never thought that I am eating a cauliflower. Believe me, it won't taste like veggie soup at all, it is so creamy. They also serve fresh juices and Shakes and smoothies. For pasta, we have Salmon Linguine with Capers in Dill Cream Sauce and we have Roast Australian Lam with Bone Marrow with Brown Rice and Demi glanced. I personally recommend the pasta its really tasteful. However, if you don't usually eat lamb like me you will not going to like their Roast Australian Lam with Bone Marrow. For me, the meat is pretty though. They also served us their best seller sandwiches which are the Australian Grass-fed All Beef Burger with Australian Cheddar, Pickled Beets, Olive oil Aioli and House-made Brioche Bun with Baked Sweet Potato Wedges. I simply say that this one rocks! hahaha, Love this Burger as well as the sweet potato wedges with parmesan cheese I guess. And of course, for dessert we have the Strawberry, Kiwi and Mango Trifle with Light Vanilla Custard and Cookie Crumble and the English Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream which is so delish that makes them delightfully desserts. They also serve Delano Coffee. The Ambiance is good but not too relaxing to stay. High ceiling with a modern designs with their best seller foods hanging on the wall makes it more pleasant plus they have great view by the sea of Manila Bay in the veranda outside if ever you like to dine outside. Their food costs ranging from Php180 to Php800.

Overall the best I've eaten at Potts Point is the Shakshuka with Organic Pork Sausage and Organic Eggs with Toasted Baguette and the  English Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream. I guess I'm not yet ready for Organic Dishes. Their Banana Berry is delicious...The ambiance is very good as its near the Bayside. The air can make you hungry especially if you're craving for Seafood and Potts Point have more seafood dishes you can order. Here's the name of the dishes I've eaten according to the sequence of the pictures.1. Australian Grass Fed All Beef Burger with Australian Cheddar, Pickled Beets, Olive Oil Aioli and house-made Brioche Bun2.Salmon Linguine with Capers in Dill Cream3.Melange of Seafood Provencale with Brown Rice Risotto4.Shakshuka with Organic Pork Sausage and Organic Eggs with Toasted Baguette5.Baked Camote Fries6.Thai Chopped Salad with Grilled Chicken, Crispy Wanton and Pomelo7.Strawberry, Kiwi, and Mango Trifle with Light Vanilla Custard and Cookie Crumble8.English Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream9.French Toast10. Hooray for people living in the South as we don't have to go all the way to Eastwood for Potts...11th of April, three days before my Birthday, got a special invite to the Grand Opening of Potts Point Café's second branch, now built at Level 2 of the SM Mall of Asia, Bayside. The smell of coffee fills the air - Awww, Delano! Was one fine Saturday, though sleepy and caffeine-hungry, I personally enjoyed their Iced Latte... Btw, it was my last cup, had a Breakfast Smoothie firstly :PSpeaking of food, Australian cuisine fitted very well to the flow of the day, and here's our Degustation Menu for hours:This is a Cream of Organic Cauliflower Soup with Truffle Foam which is perfect to share for P180Our Appetizer was Shakshuka with Organic Pork Sausage and Organic Eggs with Toasted Baguette (P265) - When I heard the Israel's breakfast dish, I was like W H A T? Oh well, better not to judge, taste then tell! I like this a lot and the feeling is very similar to eating Ground Pork + Pan De Sal over a Merienda Cena at home; just be sure to eat straight away, it gets cold real fast...Then, here comes the Thai Chopped Salad with Grilled Chicken, Crispy Wanton and Pomelo (P245)I couldn't say I am very fit, not yet... but I am a Salad person hence I obviously enjoyed this one. The Crispy Wanton was a hit... It goes perfect with the Pomelo chunks. Would be good if they slice the tomatoes, cute though ;)Now, had a few shots of this Sandwich and the time I convinced myself that I am so so hungry...Australian Grass-fed All Beef Burger with Australian Cheddar, Pickled Beets, Olive Oil Aioli and House-made Brioche Bun with Baked Sweet Potato Wedges (P395) This is a must-eat when you dine at Potts. The burger patty is very juicy, tasty but hard to eat due to thickness...I also had a little Pasta and Risotto...If you're a fish person, suggest you take this Salmon Linguine with Capers in Dill Cream Sauce (P365)I like it as is, even the texture... Don't think its a smoked Salmon so others may opt to add a little pinch of salt and pepper to taste! This Melange of Seafood Provencale with Brown Rice Risotto is also made to order for P395Should you fancy something special or eating out to celebrate or wanted to impress someone then get this, just enough for two healthful portions. If you're crazy over lambs, order the Roast Australian Lamb with Bone Marrow with Organic Brown Rice and Demiglace (P595) If you are also trying to watch your food intake, trust this Strawberry, Kiwi and Mango Trifle with Light Vanilla Custard and Cookie Crumble (P185) will not destroy your diet... ... and the English Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream (P210) is too delicious to even give up... Before I forget, here's my Breakfast Smoothie (P165) - Banana, Almonds and Oats Will try their La Maison Handcrafted Teas next time... ;)Potts Point Café is situated along South Veranda, Entertainment Mall at SM MOA, overlooking Manila Bay

Potts Point has recently opened a branch in Mall of Asia. What’s good about their food is that it is organic. What’s better is that we bought online discount vouchers (again) that gave us 40% discount. Yay! Just in time for an advanced Mother’s Day celebration. We had our lunch here the day before Mother’s day.Organic Roasted Chicken Fillet with Salsa Verde, Mango Cream, Garlic Yoghurt Sauce, and Quinoa-Red Rice SaladI liked the way they presented this with the sauces forming patterns on the side. This one is perfect for rice-people who want a healthier alternative. A little salty outside tender and simple inside.Australian Grass-fed All Beef Burger with Australian Cheddar, Pickled Beets, Olive Oil Aioli and House-made Brioche Bun with Baked Sweet Potato WedgesThe patty was made of pure beef, a little crumbly in texture, but juicy and tender. The patty itself was a little salty compared to other burgers where the saltiness comes from the sauces and other burger toppings (like the Cowboy burger of Village Tavern where its saltiness comes from the bacon topping). Pickled beets, cheese, lettuce filled up this burger. You could also add an organic egg if you want for additional Php30. It comes with sweet potato fries generously sprinkled with Parmesan cheese on top.Baked Prawn Thermidore Shepherd’s Pie with Garden SaladA thin layer of cheese covered the prawn pieces resting on top of mashed potato at the base of the “pie”. This was a little spicy. It also came with a salad and 2 pieces of bread. It had two of my favorite food items – prawns and cheese. You get cheese, prawns, potatoes, and spice with almost every mouthful.Old Fashioned Grass-Fed Meatloaf – for sharingAnother pretty sauce pattern. For more beef, we had meatloaf for sharing. We were hesitant at first to order meatloaf. But we were glad we did. The sauce was what I liked most about this dish. Sweet, just the right sweetness. The loaf itself was tender and the mashed potato was lightly seasoned.

Potts Point Cafe opens at Bayside, an Australian-inspired organic café located on the 2nd Floor of the Entertainment Mall of SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Complex, Pasay City. Their first branch is in Eastwood Mall, Libis, Quezon City.Potts Point Cafe is a perfect dining spot for those who are expecting to dine and unwind while enjoying the bay view, especially during sunset. Tranquility defines the scene in front of the outdoor dining area.According to Manager Lizzie Guerrero, Potts Point Cafe got its name from a popular suburb of Sydney known for its vibrant restaurant bar and café scenes.I agree when they said that most coffee shops don’t do much with food while most restaurants don’t worry about coffee. The difference is that, for them, an Australian Café gives equal importance to coffee and food. It’s a hybrid of the two establishments.Let me share what we had during the opening... read more at solrazo.com
