Happy with the food except for the siomai( according to my husband)- the quality changed a lot since we last dined here. Loved the veggies! Not happy with the service. I booked our table via website and mentioned that this was in celebration of my husband's birthday and so it would be great if they could make it extra special. The website agent confirmed and said that a complimentary cake would be given. When we got there, the lunch (12nn) service was slow consideering only 4 tables were occupied, the servers were folding linens and wiping cutlery in front of us as if it was already closing time and no cake nor greeting was given (would have been more than happy to pay for it!) Not sure if the request was not relayed by website or they just did not care about such booking detail. we were pretty excited on our way to RWM, quite satisfied with our lunch and came out with full bellies. We just did not get the full bday experience we were expecting so I don't think we'll be dining at Passion ever again.

Had complimentary breakfast here, and it sucked. Staff (there were too much servers, by the way; standing around clucking like chickens) weren't knowledgeable on the food they served. I asked what sausage they were serving and they said "American" and then I asked them to elaborate further, because I didn't know what it was.Nothing special about the food. Choices were sets American or Filipino breakfast. Scrambled eggs and American sausage reminded me of airplane food.I liked the brewed coffee.

Still can't get over the new Pork Barbecue Baked Buns from Passion Restaurant in Resorts World Manila. When that soft moist bun, savory light barbecue pork sauce and crumbly sweet crust play inside your mouth, you'll know you need nothing more. This is a five star upgrade of the hackneyed steamed buns and siopaos. It is a must-eat at Passion. Perfect for pasalubong. Baked Buns is definitely a 5/5. #resortsworldmanila Other interesting items on the menu in my blog, http://nindotkaayo.com soon.

This is about the lunch buffet. If you're a fan of Chinese food served on a classy place (like wanting to impress someone), this place may be an option.Choices: dimsum: Hakaw, siomai. Cold cuts: wante (jelly fish) and century egg. Carb: yang chow/some kinda fried rice, noodles. Other viand choices: pork in tausi. Shrimp in tausi. Fish (creamy dory, we think) in garlic. Dessert: almond jelly, leche flan, maja blanca. Also, not everything is served on the buffet table. They will hand out a separate food list. The sweet and sour pork is crispy and delightful because it has fresh fruits (dragon fruit, melon, papaya). Taupe tastes like the usual taupe :)Unlimited jasmine tea. Drinks are a 130 (soda in can) a piece. Currently (for the incoming Chinese New Year), they're offering shakes in a tall glass for 300 nett with free monkey stuffie (dressed in the year you choose). Servers: polite, prompt Parking: There are parkings outside Maxim's :)Lunch buffet is ~1100++ per pax :)Sorry for the measly photos of maja and the sweet and sour pork. I keep on forgetting to take pics of food 😁

[Review only covers Passion's Dimsum Buffet] Summary: Mediocre food and a small selection of dimsum. A rip-off. When you pay 1000++ PHP for dimsum buffet, you expect the heavens to part and a choir of angels to start singing with every bite of that glistening hakaw, but this did not happen today in Passion. The flavors of the dishes didn't stand out, the selection was limited and didn't represent the best that Chinese dimsum can offer (boiled fish with garlic??) and the desert (leche flan?? maja blanca?? WHY??) looked like it had been out on display for hours. This buffet is ridiculousy overpriced, and you're better off spending that 1000 PHP in Chinatown.

Tried out the lunch buffet - di naman dimsum lang. Everything tasted good! I would have gone for seconds but I was already full 😄😄😄. Delicious and relaxinf because it was not crowded. Limited choices, but quality not quantity is a much better strategy. Babalik ako!!!

Let us see, can you think of words beginning with the letter P that has a connection with food or dining.  I can think of some. Poach, peach, pickle, prune, peanut, pepper, pint, pili, produce (as in farm-grown).  Okay, that's a lot, but not that much....I'm sure there's more. So when I realized right after checking my photo library that I have stored photos of our dining jaunts to certain restaurant, I noticed there were several restaurants beginning with P that I haven't really featured yet.  Only cause I can't seem to find enough time to write about each of them, so I collated them here in one sweeping post.Patriccio's Cevicheria

I had very high expectations given that Maxims is a five star hotel. I was very excited to try it for the first time. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the cantonese dimsum buffet. I appreciated that the dimsum menu had more to it than dimsum....but... The duck didnt taste like duck. Siomai was tough to bite. Spare ribs was more on fat than meat. Hakaw had very thick wrapper. Fried rice seemed like the sinangag u have at home when ur maid cooked too much rice. Not very good value for money. :-( sayang sa pera!

One of my favorite Chinese-style fine dining. My family and I occasionally dine here whenever business partners arrive or for family celebrations.Even though its become a normal place for me, the food is to die for.Their steamed duck, orange/lemon chicken, beef broccoli, choices of drinks are just top notch. The food never ceased to satisfy. There are also private rooms with their own personal bathrooms too.The service can be better though. As a Christian family, we always begin our meal with prayer, and to our disappointment, the servers decides to barge in and interrupt with talking to one another, with waiting in the back and causing noise within the private room, or with going inbetween family members to put the food down. Very disrespectful. We get better conscious service from a fast food restaurant than a supposedly "high-class" fine diner. If you don't mind having disrespectful servers around you while enjoying top-notch meals, then this might be a place for you.

I immediately dined here when they first release their promotion since the horrible incident occurred at Resorts World Manila. They created a different menu for their unlimited promo wherein you can choose various food from it. From starters such as dimsum to main course dishes such as wagyu beef cubes and various dessert to choose from, unlimited Iced Tea were also given that comes along with the promo. All dishes served were superb, top notch quality of cooking were shown in each dish. Unfortunately, the downside to everything were the service. They seriously lack in manpower to waiters up to kitchen staff, one of the managers also acknowledge their lack in manpower this is due to the incident that occurred in Resorts World Manila that lead to plenty of resignation from their end.
