We had dinner here on Aug. 25 with friends. The Yakitor Sampler was tasty and the serving sizes of the skewers were just right. The Mr. Kurosawa Roll was good, but it didn't really stand out.We should have passed on the Seafood Udon. Nothing great, just like eating your usual Pinoy pancit. The Japanese fusion carbonara on their menu looked much more interesting. We should have gotten that instead. We were at the restaurant at a busy time, dinner time on a Saturday night. But you'd expect that staff are trained for that. The orders were slow in coming and we needed to follow up several times before the food arrived.Would we come back? Maybe. They seem to have a few more interesting items on their menu worth trying out. But service needs to improve.

Surprisingly, the food was really quite good! Normally I would stay away from what looks like fusion restaurants because I prefer the more traditional Japanese restaurants. But my kuya wanted to try it because he got curious if the Kurosawa name in the restaurant was taken from the Japanese director’s name, hehehe.Anyway, so we ordered the Udon Soup, Dynamite Roll, Crunchy Tuna Roll, Katsudon, and the Meat Fried Rice, and everything was really quite good! The ambiance and the service are also good.

First time to try Mr. Kurosawa in Newport, despite the resto being there for a long time already. The menu is similar (if not the same) with Sumosam. We got crunchy maki, tofu chopchop (my Sumosam fave!), salmon wasabi and fried rice!

Just your typical Japanese food place. Ambiance was nice and the place was clean. Their staff wasn’t fantastic and food was just ok. Unfortunately, our group didn’t find anything particularly remarkable with the place. They do accept American Express.

We ordered the truffle ramen, spicy tuna maki, spicy tuna salad, and tofu steak. The truffle was just ok, there was a hint of truffle but not very noticeable, the salad was very good and the maki was good but not the best, I was a bit disappointed with the tofu steak, it tasted salty(couldve been better if there was a little sweetness) it was literally tofu steak as it had some cuts of steak in it.Overall its average, it could be better, specially since the japanese restaurant scene here in the philippines is getting more competitive.

big servings (depending on what you order, ex. ramen), the salmon was fresh! worth the price! servers were very attentive which was a plus! only downside is it was really hot during the time we went here.

The service sucked and the food was not good enough to make up for it.My friends and I had dinner here, we were 9. Almost half of us ordered ramen, which was served warm, but not hot. One of my friends had ordered a salad which came maybe 20 mins after she was served the sushi she ordered, because the waiter seemed to have forgotten to place the order (apparently the server repeated our orders when everybody on the table was talking to each other so no one noticed him).I asked for an extra order of soup for the ramen which never came. After we were all done eating, I wanted more sushi so I decided to order one more platter. A different server took my order, a girl. After waiting for what seemed like so long yet again, I asked for a follow up and then the manager and the guy server from before was asking the chef if they got another order and he said na-out na daw. The server repeated what the chef said and I got irritated because he didn't even bother to find out if it was an additional order. So it's like he's implying that we already ate it. Kaya nga follow up? So I just told him to never mind, and to just give us the bill. He left and came back with the bill and asked me which server took my order and I just said that I didn't remember, just that it was a girl. I know that it wasn't entirely his fault but the service was just so bad you can't not see them all as a unit of poorly trained employees.I would understand if the place was packed but there were I think 2 other tables of diners that had 2 or 3 people each table. The food wasn't that special maybe except for the Salmon Aburi (that's why I placed an additional.order) that was pretty good. But their ranen noodles were like instant noodles like Lucky Me's haha. Also, it was pretty hot inside.

I love Mr. Kurasawa especially that I love Japanese food. Japanese-european dish. Food serving is quite big. Price is reasonable since the food is good for sharing

Quite the cosmopolitan Japanese restaurant that's perfect for after-hours and barkada night-outs. These were my were my absolute favorites! Tofu Steak- Huge cuts of tofu with flavorful vegetables in a savory steak sauce.Tuna Belly Teppan- Flaky tuna, not overcooked but were my absolute favorites! special sauce and all the aromatics.Wagyu Fried Rice - Small cubes of wagyu beef makes this fried rice a hit!All these plus the different kinds of rolls they offer in their Makimono list.Truly a refreshing Euro-Japanese fusion!

I was invited to have dinner at Mr.Kurosawa at Resort World Manila, this was my 1st time to dine here so I was excited to try something new. California Maki tasted really good, serving was big. Chasu Ramen was the bomb, I liked how spicy it was when served, big big serving. Chasu was tender and tasty. Tempura's serving was really small. Tonkatsu lacks breading but tender. Curry lacks spicynessLoved the Katsudon!Overall, I loved the experience. Staff was a bit slow in serving our orders. Price was a bit pricey.
