When im craving for beef wanton noodles and i dont want to travel to my favorite place in Ermita, Meylin is one alterI dont mind going to!I always order their hand-pulled beef brisket or tendon noodles and siopao plus the black gulaman! They have a full menu to offer and you can tell how good and authentic they are just by looking at the diners. They are priced friendly so one can enjoy a meal alone too!

Mey Lin Chinese Specialties was recently renovated. Their name changed a bit, and the modern interiors were similar to cosmopolitan Chinese restos.We had the Eggplant with Minced Pork (php290), Sate Beef with Kangkong (php340), and Fresh Lemon Juice (php95). I like their flavors. More like Asian fusion than solid Chinese. The eggplant dish was spicy, which was different. The beef had peanut sauce, and it tasted good. Serving size are for sharing.

Its been a years since the last time I ate here, coz I was out of the country for a very long time and I seldom eat a good chinese foods there, I do love chinese korean and japanese cuisine. And I know kind much about the foods. So I was so disappointed about our dining experience last night. I recommend to my friend to eat in Meylin because the food there was good and price is quite reasonable. I found that they renovated the place and make the ambiance much better but still the place looks small. And so We ordered adobong tokwa, kimchi soup, yachow and shrimp dumpling. When ate took the order she told us na the kimchi soup is SPICY yeah of course we really know about it much better than her and we were so pissed when it was served just how u look it the soup is kind of a bland it doesnt even make me excited to eat it! It was not spicy and doesnt taste anything It doesnt taste any kimchi. 😣 and also I really love the adobong tokwa here because its really tasty but this time its not its cold its kind a hard. And what makes us more annoyed is when we got the bill there price wasnt same in the menu because we ordered adobong tokwam with the price of 80php but in our bill it was 135php, the lady said maybe u ordered egg with tokwa. But we didnt, we just ordered adobong tokwa, so it our fault that they served the wrong food? My friend want to talk there manager but I hold her down and just understand. I was really embarassed that I recommended here and Im so dissappointed about it because I love there food maybe as they said everything change and yes they change. Thank u anyway

We had dinner here together with my family because we were craving for chinese foods. The foods were really good. It doesnt taste cheap so it was worth the price. Service was fast and the crews were very friendly. Price is affordable. I hope they had a manager who can speak chinese so that chinese customers wont have a hard time telling what they want in and with their food. The ambiance is good but their music was not suitable for a chinese resto. It would have been better if they played some chinese songs or music. But I would still recommend this place 😋

Amazed on how the dishes are very delicious here. I'm not a fan of Chinese cuisine but I like what this restaurant is offering. Tried their 3 Cups Chicken, Seafood Noodle Soup and Ansio Beef Noodle Soup. Will surely go back here. :)

This has one of my most favorite restaurants whenever I am in the MOA area. Everytime we never miss to dine at this joint. They have the best noodles so far since you'd know they're made from real dough.For their noodles I would recommend the following: Seafood noodles, Wanton noodles, Ansio beef noodle, and their lomi. The noodles are cooked just right. Right texture and the right firmness.For the food I always order: Beef with broccoli, three cups chicken, sweet and sour fish fillet, steamed fish fillet, Ansio beef, crispy chicken, sweet and sour pork.And never miss their own yang chow. Oh my goodness. They have the best yang chow. Right now I am salivating as I type this. Haha!Update: 7.28.15Was in the area and was thinking of eating Chinese food. Actually, more of Italian but I ended up entering this joint anyway. Had Ansio beef noodle soup and all my troubles seems so far away. Haha! The noodles are tender and 'al dente'. Beef is cooked beautifully. Price is cheap for a big bowl like this. Coming back definitely.

It's one of those original hand pulled noodle shops. Haven't been here after a long time. Ordered beef hand pulled noodles, steamed and fried dumplings, porkchop rice. After all these years, food is still good. Well braised beef , very tender. Soup well simmered, . Dumplings just with the the right amount of filling and thickness of skin. The porkchop rice was actually very crispy- ly flavorful. The downer , we were seated by the wood/ mirror side. The smell of cockroach was overpowering. It's a big off.

Mey Lin has been a family staple eversince they opened in MOA. And for some reason, we always, always end up eating here when we do not have a plan and if the other chinese restaurants are already full. Sometimes, I dread it, because I like trying something new and we always eat here, but then, every time I eat at Mey Lin, I leave the place with a satisfied tummy, and a happy wallet. Our usual orders would be the fried intestines (you can never go wrong with this, it's a family favorite!), the adobo pork rice, the steamed dumplings, the string beans w/pork, and any of their hand pulled noodle dishes. The adobo pork rice will always be my go-to order as it is very tummy-filling and it's seasoned just right. The dish isn't salty. It's almost as homey as my mom's adobo dishes. The steamed dumplings, you will love to know, arent the processed kind. The hand pulled noodles are really good tasting and these are really authentic chinese noodles. Mey Lin is definitely one of the authentic chinese restaurants in our country, and it will always be because of the consistency. Pricing is actually beyond right because serving is really good, sometimes even great for sharing. Their staff are very familiar to me (rarely do I see new people manning the restaurant, so you can trust that they know what theyre doing), and they are very nice. Area is well-ventilated, but kinda small, you can always opt to dine outdoors anyway!

My partner loves to eat Chinese cuisine and very keen to try different Chinese restos in the Metro in quest for something amazing. When we say amazing, it's mostly for price-serving ratio and the quality of the dishes.Mey Lin dishes were great, but nothing grand. It was the service that was appaling. We had to call the servers multiple times and remind them about our follow-up orders. There was also a fly inside the resto.One good thing about Mey Lin was their fresh hand-pulled noodles. One part of the kitchen was made of glass, we were able to watch one of the Chefs do the hand-pulled noodles thing and it was quite a show. Great way to entertain me while waiting for our orders.
