I fail to understand why people come here. First of all, it stinks. The noodles were nothing special. There's nothing extraordinary about this place. I'll never go back.

The food here simply is horrible, for the price you pay you definitely can get better food. All is just salty food and meat was not fresh. My friends and I ordered the noodle soup and we just paid it for it to be cook. Disgusted by the taste of it. We left just after one to 2 bites, never go again

For me, the mami is really a good one. the size and the quantity. My father is surprised that the regular siopao we ordered is a big one. we are used to seeing regular siopao in a regular size but this is different and the siomai's size and taste are worth it.

The brand started humbly in 1930 where Chinese immigrants Ma Kong & his brother walked the streets of old Manila thru Escolta & Binondo selling noodles on small carts. The distinct flavors they offered established a fanbase which eventually led to a hole in the wall joint flocked by patrons both local & from the outskirts of the city. Fast forward to 2017 & they remain to be a household name in noodles & dimsum as third generation owners have kept the integrity & stayed true to the flavors that have endeared their food to its loyal customers thru the decades. To this day, the preparation of their noodles trace back to the old-fashioned way of jockeying flour to pull the perfect strings. My recent visit to their MoA store took me back to my youth when my father would take us on afternoon bowls in 80's Binondo. Interiors tell about their storied past while the stools & tables help provide that nostalgic element as well as the constant clanking & kitchen rush heard thru the dining floor We ordered their Original Mami (P130), Asado Mami(P130) & Wonton Mami(P140) & I must say that they've not lost their touch! that 80 yr old "signature sauce" has never failed! Noodle strings were flat firm as ever while the flavors remained distinct. The Asado was succulent & fairly sweetened while the Wontons were plump and tasty. Portions were humungous & good for 2 starved foodies. The other highlight was their Asado siopao! @ P55, buns are the size of my 1 yr old kid's head! Sweet, salty & succulent - well seasoned, nothin' saggy allowing the bun to keep its fluffy firm state & goes really well w/ that signature sauce. The Siomai (P35/each) is literally a fist-like meatball. No extenders, just pure chunk of meat w/ its oriental gloryMy expectations on service are usually conservative when dining in joints like these but I must say the staff are fairly accommodating & quite proactive. Nothin' out of the ordinary to be expected especially when you're used to dining in noodle & dimsum shops like these but it does give you that throwback experience of the old Manila

i enjoyed their food especially in binondo and megamall branch, the mami in this branch tasted bad and the service was actually poor when i ate here. yung mga staff dito kasabay ng mga customers kumain sa dining area as in sabay sabay sila so walangag attend ng maayos sa mga customers. i had to ask for water 3x pa grabe
