One of the best hotpot buffet joints in the Metro. What I like about King One is it being a Chinese-style hotpot, which offers a variety options from blood pudding to stuffed fishballs. They're also quite liberal in serving sliced meats (they have lamb) and meatballs.Ate here this May 2018, and they have ice cream and fruits for dessert.Service is very attentive. They frequently remove used plates from tables.

The food was legit it’s like eating in an ala carte shabu shabu in Ongpin but rather it’s in Macapagal. But the Lapu Lapu was not really Lapu Lapu, instead they served Parrot fish as you will see in my pictures.

The meat was quality however lacking in variety (eg. Cuts). Both broths(Satay and Hong kong Pork Soup) we got were very flavourful and stuck with the meats and noodles when cooked. The cooked food buffet could’ve been better, yang chow rice and pancit were meh. The sauce bar also lacked in selection. Was disappointed to be informed that scallops were not available. Overall a good dining experience. Went at lunch time of a weekday so service was good and attentive.

Yeah, so my family and I were craving for hotpot and this is our go to place. The variety of food became less, but the quality is still good.

Soup base is good but the food there WERE NOT FRESH. And their fish fillet tasted like egg white...where it just melts in your mouth.. 😑 got disappointed after..

Boyfriend is a fan. He says this restaurant gives you a pretty good run for your money. I kind of agree. It's eat all you can and cheaper if you bought vouchers. However, there's a catch; actually lots of them. The staff to customer proportion is bad: particularly for a busy sunday night. The restaurant has a weird unsanitary smell and worst of all: there are huge flies everywhere and they don't seem to care to find a solution. If it were just for me, I will not really come back but as earlier stated, boyfriend remains a fan.

I was curious about the "rotary hotpot" so we ate here last March 10, 2016 for dinner around 7PM, it was a full house but manageable.I already ate at a hotpot restaurant before in taiwan and the last time I experienced hotpot was at tong yang SM Southmall (I think) and the hotpot in King One is like a "new" experience all over again. I kept on reading articles about this restaurant and tried the recommendations and the "how to" of this kind of restaurant. And surprisingly, we kept on laughing the whole time because we still dont get it hahaha! but we managed somehow. We got the Spicy Szechuan and the Pork Soup (I think). The Szechuan was good at first then it got a little too spicy for us. The other broth actually has little taste, but we managed to mix the two which was just right for us.Service is superb, they would assist you with the meat/ingredients you want and they also refill your drinks. After eating and paying the bill, the waitress even asked us if we wanted fruits :) Our favorites are the Lamb Slices (tastes like beef but better and without the after taste, cook it in the Szechuan broth for superb taste), The beef ball with cheese, the ball with cheese (I dont know what it is made of hihi), the shrimps (although they told me its not alive anymore), the oyster, the hakao-like siomai, and the veggies.I rated it 3.5 because the price is with service charge and its too expensive. If I were you, you should avail the online vouchers. We were full but the satisfaction is only 3.5 for us because it is okay but we would probably eat here again not anytime soon.

My auntie celebrated her birthday here with the family and some friends. We always had Eat All You Can whenever we have celebrations so King One is really a good choice. It is affordable and we got a cheaper price from the vouchers we got. The food was good and has a lot of choices but I don't really find the place conducive for an eating environment. There's an unusual smell (lol) and although we got a vip room it was still a bit hot. However, the food didn't disappoint us and i think that matters most. 😉

Awesome Food for a Good price of P699. Restaurant Ambiance and service though should be improved because 1) some orders dont get to the table and 2) Staff don't usually go back to serve what you ordered.
