Went here i think 40 minutes to their closing time. So we ordered right away.Entrees came first and the appetizer came the last. You can already tell what's wrong here. -____-Food were great and were served hot. Attendants were very attentive. In the middle of our dinner, the store is already closing. They were already preparing to close, even if there are 3 or 4 customers dining. Ok, we just ignored that. Then an attendant approached us for the payment. Ok, so we paid the bill. We finished eating minutes after we paid the bill, and no change was coming! Even if our change was below P50, i think it's our right to receive it. But no change came back! This was very disappointing. We really thought the attendants were thinking that the small amount of change wouldn't matter to us. Very, very, very disappointing! That was an intolerable manner. I'm really hoping the management would see this.

Service- 3.5Food- 3.0Ambiance- 3.5The food is just normal. We tried their ebi tempura and katsudon, the sauce is too sweet but i like the dessert. We have coffee jelly and green tea jelly with ice cream. The green tea jelly is good. If I were to ask to return here, I'd rather try other restaurants first.

I loved the Gyudon! The sauce is tasty and delicious. A little slow on the service but they're friendly and accommodating. Would love to come back again.

[3.5]We were looking for a place that I haven’t tried yet and we ended up here. There weren’t much people and the ambiance was was quite intimate. The service was okay and the food I ordered (oyakodon) tasted a little familiar, like a fancier version of the low-priced Japanese food out there. But overall, the experience was good and the price was fair, this is a good option if you want a little change in your usual Japanese go-to places.

The service and food delivery is fast. We ordered Ebi Tempura Roll, which was good. Chicken Katsu was super crispy. Rib Eye Teppanyaki was ok. Chahan rice was good. Overall, a visit is recommended.

Our typical to go place on Wednesday or whenever we crave for Japanese entries. Kimono Ken's ambiance in SM Mall Of Asia is great. Food is also amazing. The usual food we order Chicken Teriyaki Salad, Gyoza, Sakana Fry, Beef Teriyaki and Yaki Udon. The y never fail us when it comes to our taste buds. Thank you.

Kani Salad - Fresh greens (lettuce, cucumber with Tobiko), perfect Japanese mayonnaise dressing, and Kani that was a-little-bit-sweet and delectable — equating to a clean plate with 0% leftover.Kakiage Tempura Special - We broke away from the ordinary mainstay Ebi Tempura and went for some more greens without sacrificing our love for seafood. Kakiage Tempura Special comprises mixed veggies with squid and prawns deep-fried to perfection.California Maki - Six pieces of everyone’s all-time favorite sushi selling for only PHP 135 at Kimono Ken! Best with Japanese soy sauce and Wasabi. Kimono Ken’s were not rolled perfectly that when I dipped it on sauce, the Maki broke apart. I had to help myself with a spoon to eat the stuff.Sukiyaki - has been my all-time favorite Japanese noodles, until Ramen came into my life. There’s something about the fusion of different flavors that makes me love it more and more. Kimono Ken serves Sukiyaki in a small pot, good for 2-3 persons. And why would I not like it? With its thinly sliced juicy beef, tofu, fresh vegetables, glass noodles in its perfect state, and its really good-tasting Sukiyaki sauce — it’s a delight, a pleasure, and practically a dream come true to have it on my mouth and in my belly! We paired our food with a glass of cold tea with syrup all over it (for free) and ended our meal with a few cups of hot tea just to flush down all the food we’ve consumed.

So we ate here yesterday for lunch my mother ordered kani crab salad for herself spam maki for sharing and oyakodon for myself, and just like last time we visited the place looks busy and chaotic might I say, so with the place being a bit chaotic the ambience also isn't that attracting or good in any ways, the food hmm... I think the oyakodon was a bit bland in flavor I like gyudon better which I ordered last time, and according to my mother she didn't mean to order the salad because last time we went there she ordered the same and she didn't like it and of course this time around she didn't like it either , and the only thing I really like is the spam maki I like the saltiness of it and the sensation of the roe and rice sticking to my tongue although it had a bit of chewiness to it maybe because of the seaweed used .

The place was almost full when we arrived. We were attended almost immediately upon seated. Looking at the food people ordered made me even hungrier. So we ordered:Two (2) ramen - both very good, but I liked the negi ramen more. Loved it spicy.Beef teriyaki - very good.Salmon sashimi - same great taste as every salmon does.Bacon asparagus maki - very good.Fried Rice - as delicious as it smelled.Maki - forgot the name. Remembering it might give me noosebleed. Hehe!We will be back maybe some other time.

Favorite dish: their Uni Spaghetti. I don't think I've ever seen anything similar in other restaurants, so every time the craving kicks in, I always head to the nearest Kimono Ken. This oil-based spaghetti is really heavy on the flavor; the sauteed sea urchin gives it a unique salty, sea-foody taste, but also makes it very malansa (or idk if those are the same thing). Best eaten with a side of (non-seafood) protein like katsu or karaage. The oily-buttery-lansa will quickly get to your taste buds if eaten on its own, especially for those who don't exactly love seafood.Kimono Ken also serves a wide variety of sushi rolls, everything I've tried so far area really good and sulit. Other dishes pictured: Omu Rice (good for 2) and Crazy Maki.
