Because of our cravings for asian food, we decided to eat here. Although the menu is quite common for an asian restaurant, we decided to give it a try. What I like about the place is that their lightings are not irritating to the eyes. Customer experience wise, I'll rate it as 5/5. They're still very accomodating inspite of the fact that it's nearly closing time. (Past 10 pm)Food prices are a bit too high but we just thought that the taste of what they offer will give justice to it. But we were quite disappointed. The dimsums are in quite big sizes but they are a bit overpriced. (From 170 to 190 pesos), they are tasty but nothing special. The wanton noodles were not as flavorful as what I have expected. For 290 pesos, we were quite disappointed and decided to just have it taken home.Their Johnny Chow fried rice was just good for two hungry eater. Nothing special to it but you'll never believe the price. There's nothing special with their sweet and sour fish fillet I won't even bother trying it the next time we eat here. The only thing that we really liked is their bottomless citrus iced tea and green tea lychee iced tea for 125 pesos each. They're very refreshing and tasted good. What we cannot accept is the fact that we shelled out almost 2,000 pesos for a not-so-tasty-asian-experience.

After gaming, we were craving for some Asian-Chinese food. Next to Thai food, we really enjoy Chinese food. So we have a bunch of place where we can compare our dining experience here. To be honest, food aren't that great. It's not worth your penny because they're quite expensive as well. The servers are quite slow and the ambience was not appetizing. A bit crumpy inside. So go try some other restos around.

Over-all rating was low so we hesitated but ended up dining given we were looking for Chinese food. In the end, we didn't quite understand why the restaurant was rated low. We enjoyed it a lot and total experience was pleasant. Service crew was great too!The spare ribs, fried rice, fish fillet with black sauce and the birthday noodles was all satisfyingly good without the usual sleepiness after dining in a Chinese resto (due probably to MSG).

I spent 18 months in Manila and it's not easy to find somewhere that serves fresh and quality food at a reasonable price but I found that Johnny Chow consistently does this. Definately my favourite place to eat in the whole of Manila. I really can't understand some of the reviews below and their low ratings and complaints that it's over priced. Perhaps they are comparing to the places in their own country? I've paid a lot more in other restaurants in Manila and been served much lower quality food. I just wish there were more Johnny Chows around Manila!

Feeling a little hungry for dimsum? Johnny Chow good place to get chinese food. Their location is great and the ambience is good. The food is good too, although the serving is small but alright.

The food was okay but not worth the price. It's a bit pricey for the taste of the food. The stuffed pineapple shrimp wasn't nice at all! The lemon chicken was okay. I like the kimchi rice and spring rolls though. For the over all experience, I just couldn't decipher what this restaurant's forte is. I don't know if it's chinese, american, korean.. The ambiance was okay and the food came in fast. So I give this restaurant an average score 👌🏽

Nothing great at all. And expensive. Maybe their location and pricing is geared towards the high-rollers in the casino. For 3 orders of so-so dimsum and an order of e-fu noodles, I paid over P1300. This is a bad deal for me.

Tried this at last after walking past it several times at newport mall. The food is great. Dim sum's the best. The ambiance makes me think of chinese restaurants set in old kung fu movies.

This was my family's go to restaurant last year and we decided to have dinner again here tonight. The place is fine, it gets crowded at times. Food is pricey and for me it's not that of a good meal. I prefer eating at lukfoo instead if you know that restaurant. Not that fancy but food is really good. Serving size here is pretty small and I think their dishes lack flavor. Staffs are a bit friendly but most of time when you call their attention it seems that they're annoyed or something. It's probably the time for us to try other restaurants when we're in the area.

Food was good. But it was a bit expensive for the quality. But what I was very particular about was the service and cleanliness of the place. The table was not 100% clean. I felt like i wouldn't want to put my hands on top of the table. The floor had a strong smell of bleach and soap which is very unpleasant when you're having a meal. I hope they'll be able to improve their service soon.
