Had dinner here last night, ordered for kani mango salad, spicy tempura maki, shrimp tempura, rice and miso soup. Salad and the maki was just okay nothing spectacular. But the shrimp tempura was not fresh and was really oily. Mis soup and rice never came even we asked for the server to have it followed up. Will never come back to this place.

I loved the idea of the place - i got all excited to try the food and the market. The interiors were lovely as well. ❤️ But the service here is really bad, i felt like they were intentionally not paying attention to us, maybe because there were alot of customers din. But to be fair, we were waiting for our spoons, forks and bowls for about 20 mins - considering we had ordered soup. We had to ask 3 different servers for it. :( i loved the food though, but disappointed with the service, our server couldnt even remember what was available and not available in the menu - he kept going back to the kitchen to ask and then disappearing. :( but otherwise, good experience because i was looking for a Japan feel.

A decent Japanese restaurant for those with cravings. A bit reasonable price compared to the other restaurants in Resort World. Also a different vibe that is worth experiencing.Food tastes good. You can also try a different menu here from the usual restaurants here.

Food was good but service really sucks. We waited for more than 30 minutes for an order that never arrived. It’s a pity that service is bad because overall food was delicious.

We went here for dinner last March 1. The place is nice but some food on the menu are not available, even a sushi platter. Ha! Anyway, i still enjoyed the kani mango, takoyaki balls and ebi tempura we ordered. The chicken teriyaki and tempura soba were so-so.

Ordered spicy tuna tartare salad, salmon sashimi, chahan, beef sukiyaki, ebi tempura, chicken karaage, assorted yakitori. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. The waiters were attentive (even if there were too many guests), food was good, and ambiance was okay (very Japanese resto vibe but a little crowded at the time I was there)Rating it 3/5 because it’s pricey but the serving is too small. Expected the tuna salad to have at least more greens, and the beef sukiyaki only had few thick beefs (would have been better if the beef was thinly sliced). Lastly, the house tea did not taste like tea. It’s like water that had the yellowish, tea color. I recommend to add more tea leaves. PS Only managed to take photos of the appetisers. Note that these photos DON’T show the full serving size per order. Didn’t get to manage to take any photo before digging in :)

When it opened a few years back, we already wanted to visit this place. We finally got a chance to try this out last March and we were not disappointed.During our visit, we ordered spicy salmon roll, takoyaki and negima yakitori. All were delicious, although the spicy salmon roll was not a stand out. We loved negima although we find the serving small. The takoyaki tastes authentic and the serving was just right— balls were not too big but still it has octopus bits inside. We recommend this place because they offer affordable Japanese treats and you’re assured that they are using fresh ingredients. Our orders are priced below P200. Those are already good for sharing. We’d love to try other dishes from this Japanese market again. Their ramen are also affordable. The Eatventurers

First time eating here and wasn’t really expecting much but i was surprised by how fresh the seafood and sashimi. In my opinion, you could find better sukiyaki dishes in the metro as it was a little sweeter than it should be and the serving size is quite small. The sauce that they use of the seafood is just ok. I would recommend having your seafood cooked in butter rather than their “secret sauce” and the chili crab sauce. I wouldn’t recommend ordering the beef yakitori as it was just beef cubes, you could easily find this anywhere. Overall, for the price, freshness of their seafood, service and ambiance, i wold recommend this resto.
