I ordered a groupa and some scallops at its own seafood stall before being ushered to my seat and a Sautéed Kang Kong with Shrimp Paste after I sst down. Overall, it was a good experience. The waiter was a little bit too pushy though. The cooking and the ingredients were both great

I love the food no question asked, the waiter is very helpful. Coz I don’t really know how and what to order he helped us buying the food, and gave good discount(tawad). Service is really good. Just improvement on the cleanliness.

Seafood is probably one of the most expensive food you can crave for. Most seafood restaurants offer our favorite shrimps or crabs at a price that varies depending on weight, and it almost always ends up costing us way too much that just leads to our dissatisfaction or regret! . Well, not for me. Every time I crave for seafood, I make sure I go big and I make the most of it. Never mind paying a fortune for it, as long as I get both quality and quantity. Thus, during desperate times, I go to the seaside dampa along Macapagal Blvd.

The chefs here really know what they're doing! All the dishes we asked for are cooked perfectly well. It's easy to overcook seafoods like squid and shrimp but this restaurant never does that.Calamares -  squid is soft, tender and definitely not overcooked. The batter is crispy and perfectly seasonedButtered shrimp - tastes really good and seasoned perfectly. texture of the squid is also greatTempura - crispy, tasty, and tender. tempura sauce was also good!Scallops - took a long time to serve but it did not disappointEven their pansit canton and garlic rice are good!4/5 all in all since the restaurant gets very cramped, and sometimes the staff forgets what you ordered. Scallops also arrived really late (we were already done eating everything else).

Seaside Dampa is not the same without the actual seaside ambience. Nevertheless, you can find small packets of flavor in this little restaurant. The best dish among those we tried is the Adobong Pusit. Flavor kicks in with every juicy bite of the squid. Good Food (Is So Hard to Find)!

Masarap ang luto! Da best, a little bit noisy kasi marami tlgang kumakain, full pack. Di din ganun kamahal! Afford ng budget, Matinde! Must try.. we brought some fresh seafoods at sakanila namin pinaluto.. superb! Mababait ang empleyado. Wala ko masabe👌🏻👍🏻

Wag ka na maghanap ng ibang lugar kung magpapaluto sa dampa. Dito ka na, masarap luto nila. Promise! Mura din at sulit bayad sa paluto. 👍👍👍👍👍

I love this place. Obviously they serve seafood. However, Huey Ying in my opinion serves the best Sotanghon Crab. All other dishes can be ordered in the nearby dampa places but this recipe of theirs I believe is unique to them. Don't expect this place to be glam, because its tongue-in-cheek barren looks remains true to the essence of dining- when food is good, they will keep coming!

This restaurant in Macapagal is always full. For first impressions, it was crowded and you had to get a number to be able to get a seat. Before you even buy your seafood you should already get one, since in our experience we bought first and went there but we had to wait awhile to get a seat. It's a bit dirty and the seats are sort of cramped and too near to each other but the flavours of their food is amazing. I loved their salt and pepper crabs. It was perfectly fried on the outside but still soft on the inside, the shrimps were also very flavourful. Everything here was excellent. They are the BEST in flavour in this dampa but I do hope they improve on the cleanliness and the service.

I was invited for a seafood dinner at Dampa and the place of paluto choice is Huey Ying. The place is full you need to wait for some seats to be vacated.A bit noisy because it's cramped and crowded but for restaurant it's a good sign that means good food.Ambiance maybe forgettable but hey I'm here for the food.In this kind of paluto setting ,I'm familiar with the Pinoy classic dishes or the usual Asian favorites that had been tweaked for the Philippine palate. But this time we went off the radar and zoomed in for some Fujian style cooking.Bought some blue sea crab, mud crab , shrimps ,scallops, sea mantis, subspecy of grouper all sourced very fresh and alive ,seaweed for salad. We had:Mud Crab Congee- first time to have this, comforting and filling, the flavors of the crab were professed into this simple dish.Steamed Grouper- fresh perfectly cooked with some garlic scallions on some soya sauce.Steamed blue crabs and steamed shrimps -nothing can get fresher than that.Salt and pepper sea mantis-love the aroma and flavors of the spices that was infused in it, Szechuan chilis and peppers.Authentic Fujian cooking.Stir fried Broccoli and stir fried morning, seaweed with tomato salad.Stir fried galic scallops- overcooked if not it's a big thumbs up.Chunky Crab Nido Soup-tasty egg drop soup ,with shredded crab meat.Meaty and delicious.Overall with it's a authenticity for that type of cuisine ,I would say it's very good. And Dampa is not the place for fancy eaters.
