Had to come here at 5pm for dinner since we know it's going to be packed!Thoroughly enjoyed everything especially the salted egg crab and the Szechuan fish. Those were the highlights for me. Make sure you order plain rice with these. The staff are nice and friendly as well. It might not seem like it sometimes because the place is busy and chaotic. But if you're nice, you will get good service :)

It was a great seafood dining experience, although service could be improved. Some of the trainees aren't sure of what they are doing, plus the place can tend to be chaotic as they do not accept "listing" when you arrive. You basically have to run to the table of your choice once they open (if you arrive earlier). It was a good thing that not too many people were there last Sunday.Their hot and sour soup was an epic fail. The ingredients, were just not fit to be with each other. There were onions and cabbages (or was it lettuce) in the soup. They just don't go well with the concept of hot and sour soup. Also, the soup lacked consistency and flavor. A little more sourness would have helped. The Singapore chili crab and salted egg crab were cooked to perfection. In terms of flavor, the chili crab sauce could be improved by boiling the sauce even more, adding to the consistency and intensity of the chili crab sauce. The salted egg sauce on the other hand was savory and on-point. The blend of oil and the salted egg bits (or powder) complimented the dish well. The prawn tempura was perfect! The batter was although a bit thick, it didn't overpower the taste of the seafood. The batter was crunchy all throughout, and the prawns were cooked to perfection achieving a creamy crunchy texture of the prawn tempura. It was just amazing. The salted egg prawns however, was a bit disappointing. The sauce was lacking in terms of volume, plus the prawns were a little bit overcooked. Their shells weren't easy to remove. The baked scallops with garlic was nothing extraordinary, but still great nonetheless. We also had the fish with (I forgot which sauce it was), but it was great. I normally don't like eating fish, but this one was different. It was cooked perfectly across the protein, plus the flavor of the sauce penetrated the fish from the outside until its bones. Definitely an amazing dish.I would go back.

Went here with a group of friends. Their service is really great. They will check our seafood first before they cook it and tell us if it’s fresh or not. Sometimes the seafood seller outside give you unfresh seafood. Happened to us that we must change our fish. They baked with cheese shell is my fave.

Crabs was a 3.5/5 for me. I personally like the salted egg crabs from Trinity. The Calamares was a bit weird. Its breading tasted like shingaling 😂 Food was good overall.Customer service was terrible. Our food took 1 hour to be cooked and served. The waiters seemed like they were dodging us. It's like they intentionally pretend they don't see you. I asked for water thrice before it was actually served. Overall, I don't recommend this restaurant.

My friend invited us for her birthday dinner, there are a lot of people dining here but their staffs are very attentive. The place is good for family and friends.

I’d give this place a 5!One thing i’ve noticed is that the service was really fast compared to the usual 15-20min serving time for most restaurants. We had salted egg crabs, mussels baked with cheese, salted egg shrimps and shrimp tempura. All these just for two🐷.First off, let’s start with the Salted Egg Crabs- This one is the star of the night! The crab was perfectly cooked, it was super tasty as well. The salted egg yolk, butter and crab combo was so good that it made me crave for it immediately after finishing everything. There was NO “umay” factor. For the Mussels Baked with Cheese- This was average. Nothing extraordinary with this dish. Nevertheless, it was good.As regards the Salted Egg Shrimps- HK Master Cook indeed, is the master cook when it comes to salted egg shrimps. It was perfectly cooked as the shrimp can be removed easily from the shell with the least effort. FYI BEST SALTED EGG SHRIMPS i’ve tasted so far👌🏻 the creamy and tasty salted egg sauce will ooze as you peel the shrimp, so better peel it above your rice🍚.And Lastly, for the Shrimp Tempura (that looks like camaron😂), yes, looks can sometimes be deceiving. It looked like a shrimp with thick batter but the moment I ate it, I was surprised, as the batter was thin and crispy, you can really taste the shrimpy goodness in it.5/5 rating for HK MASTER COOK!Will definitely go back 👌🏻

This place changed my view of the seaside. This paluto resto definitely know how to cook seafoods. Evry dish is perfect. Evey flavor spot on. The staff are very accomodating. But this place is always jam packed, so a reservation would save u some waiting time. The highlight of the night was the salted egg shrmp and crabs. Perfectly cooked every bit of shrimp is easy to peel. The tempura is also delicious. Evey bite is so tender and juicy. Will definitely come back for more. And this place has lots of parking space

Worst experience. Not true that it’s first come, first serve basis. We were third to come in at opening but after 2 hrs of waiting and all tables served but ours, we decided to leave and just look for another place. Just the worst!

Not recommended! Staff are incompetent. Do not adhere to their FIRST COME FIRST SERVED POLICY. Waited for two hours, starting opening time. We were no 11 but all, except our table, were served. We didn’t bother to eat. Pulled out our orders.. They ruined our weekend family lunch. Very BAD DINING EXPERIENCE. WILL NOT GO BACK AGAIN. NEVER!!!I warn others not to try this DISCRIMINATIVE RESTAURANT. Hongkong Master Cook SUCKS!

Had our dinner here last Saturday and since its a weekend this resto here in Dampa Libertad Pasay is quiet jam packed. Full of foreigners especially Asians like Japanese & Koreans. Due to its high volume of costumers some have already their early reservations. So if you plan to celebrate your bday or any special occasions just call their number. This resto is located at the back side of Dampa, if you have a car there is a big parking space at the back facing HK mastercook. If you came from the front side you have to walk at the far end passing the market. It is located on the right side facing the main street. Okay so once you reach the resto do not just go inside, take a number for your table or else they will not entertain you for your "paluto". So its table first before you go to the market😉. Once you have the table you can now proceed to buy the fresh ingredients you want from shells, fishes, meat and even fresh vegetables and fruits. After buying proceed to the back side of the resto where they will ask you if what dish you want and how it will be cooked. So as recommended by Chef Heusaff we tried the crab in salted eggyolk, it was yummy indeed. I myself is not fond of salted egg but this one I may say awakened my taste buds. Next we had crab in sweet in chili sauce. My husband feasted on both crabs. For the shrimp we had the chili garlic, tempura ,and sinigang. Then squid for calamares and sizzling squid with vegetables. And lastly we had the normal steamed oysters or talaba. They have fresh buko juice and unlimited ice tea and blue lemonade which are perfect refreshment and pantulak with all these gastronomic food we just ate. Eating in Dampa is quiet costly since you have to pay first for the fresh stuff you bought in the market then another charge for the resto to cook it. So roughly a budget of 8-10k is needed for a group of 5 if you want to taste their dishes and satisfy your self. You will never regret leaving this resto with a full tummy and satisfaction. Actually there is this one negative feedback... We had a cockroach on our table three to be exact and they keep on popping from the crack on the table good thing we were done eating already or else I will go berserk. one of the waiter was quick to attend to our complaint. Overall, this resto has reached my expectations and will recommend to my friends and definitely will go back here next time.
