Finally tried Cru's steakhouse for dinner. It's been in my must-eat list for so long! We ordered their appetizer platter that features all of their best appetizers: foie gras, tuna, beef carpaccio, scallops, chicken wings, crab cake, and their 3 soups: mushroom, french onion, and gambas. I really enjoyed the scallops and the foie. So happy this platter existed! We ordered their US Angus Primerib for our main course in medium. Steaks are good, but would love to have it softer and more melt-in-your-mouth. The peppercon sauce was too sweet to my liking, and would love to have more servings. The sides are awesome though, the twice baked cheesy potato and their truffle risotto are bomb! Would love to try their other appetizers and sides!

went here for our anniversary. Ambience is good, servers are very attentive. Ordered the australian mulwara wagyu and us certified angus rib eye. The australian wagyu was divine. Melts in your mouth! Cooked nicely. The Certified Angus ribeye on the other hand was just okay. A bit tough, but it was good. Appetizer sampler was also excellent. Will come back :)

First of all, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Their service was fast and efficient. Atmosphere is amazing, and very intriguing since you can see the chefs preparing your food. I had the PHP4,500 4-Course meal. Really worth the money if you can eat a lot...because I couldn't. The crab cake was delicious, crunchy and fluffy at the same time. However, the salmon tartare that came with it needed some more acidity to cut through the fishy taste from the salmon. The mushroom soup that came after was creamy, and the mushroom chunks with the truffle oil took the soup to a next level. Sorbet is coconut flavoured, which was a nice palette cleanser. Finally, the steak. At this point, I was 3/4 full from all the other courses. But the glutton was real. At first the steak was overdone (I asked for a medium), because it came in as well done. The staff were apologetic but it's fine, mistakes like that happen. The re-fired another steak and it was perfect. Steak was juicy and tender, I recommend asking for some salt and pepper to season the steak with though. They provided a generous amount of sides which consisted of grilled asparagus and Cajun wedges. Again, you may need some seasoning for the asparagus. On the other hand, the Cajun wedges were too salty. I had to stop after the steak. I couldn't even continue for dessert. However they gave a small glass of sherry to pair the dessert with and it's a unique drink. Please do try. Overall, I loved the experience. Would visit again for sure.
