We were taking my tita out to dinner before she flies back to US. So its fitting to send her off with Pinoy dinner, thus I end up booking a table (thru website app) at Crisostomo. Never eaten here but i heard some good feedback from my friends. We chose several entrees: dinuguan, pinakbet, kuhol, callos, paella negra and of course lechon. I was impressed with all dishes except with kuhol which i did not try as im not a shell food lover. The lechon balat was crisp. The dinuguan was flavorful as well as the callos. The paella negra was also equally impressive, you wont think that there was squid ink on it being a non-seafood lover. The branch in newport was packed on a wednesday so I definitely recommend to book a table for dinner. If you want authentic pinoy food, Crisostomo is the answer.

No space in the restaurant, they basically sat us beside another family. Many servers were just standing around doing nothing. This is a real step down from the branch we usually eat at in UP Town Center. If you know you're at full capacity, ask customers to wait rather than making them pay 1500 pesos for a 250 peso experience.

One of my favorite filipino restaurant!! Have tried their karekare, crispy pata, lengua, and baked tahong with cheese!! It took me a time to choose what to order because almost all of their foods looks yummy!

Crisostomo. Always reminds me of Jose Rizal. I heard so much about this Filipino restaurant. My sister again reminded me to have our dinner here during our 8-hour Manila stopover. When we arrived, the place is full. But the attendant told us that there's already a customer asking for their bill. Thats very good. The place is nice. Ambience is also nice. Both Filipino and foreigners dine here. So it's a good sign that this restaurant really got a reputation. We ordered:Paella FilipinoPrawn gambasPaella negraLengua with button mushroomLechon kawali with laingPalabok - who the hell ordered this?Everything we ordered were very delicious. And expensive. But no upset stomach during our whole trip. So it means we will be back again sometime soon. Highly recommended. By the way, we still paid for the palabok.

Ordered Paella Negra and Kangkong con Selo for dinner. Crisostomo’s restaurant in Newport is located at 2F where most of restaurants are also located. Paella Negra is Crisostomo’s version of Spanish rice dish with adobong pusit and pork. It’s definitely good to share because of its large serving. I enjoyed the rice, it seemed an authentic black rice. Kangkong con Selo has also a quite big serving. For drinks, we tried pineapple juice. Affordable price for big serving of food!
