A perfect place to be alone or to bond with friends, Cafe Creole offer a wide range of Southern Style dishes from Jambalaya to Frappes. Cafe Creole is a tribute to Uncle Murray Hertz which is the original founder of Murray's New Orleans Bourbon Street Steaks and Oyster. We had, Fish Ponchartrain ,Earth Bread, Everglades Jambalaya, Bourbon St. Jambalaya and New Orleans Seafood Gumbo. Café Creole also serves Coffee, Shakes and pastries. We had their Classic Beignet with a Hot Caramel Machiato, Smores Frappe and Brownie Monster Frappe. You could try their Signature Coffee, Creole Americano . Check out my blog for a full review. My personal rating to the restaurant:Food: 4.0Service: -Place: 3.5Happy Eating, website Day Out

I’ve been seeing a lot of pretty food photos on my Instagram feed of this new café at Resorts World Manila. Too mouthwatering to look at, I know I just had to drive my way down to this busy side of the metro, brave Manila traffic and experience dining for myself. I never got to go until last week when I went with some of my website friends. Located at the second floor of Newport Mall, Cafe Creole’s promise is simple: great coffee, soul food at its best, and a quaint place to enjoy each other’s company. Dim lights, make it perfect for dates, food keeps patrons/regulars going back for more, ambiance draw newbies to come and try 'em out. With a wide selection of Southern brunch dishes, signature coffee concoctions, and bread and pastries baked fresh daily; there’s something special to try at Café Creole any time of the day. Personally, I love its cozy interiors. It exudes the allure of the vibrant culture of jazz and honest-to-goodness full southern comfort food experience. The idea of Café Creole came as a tribute to the late Uncle Murray Hertz, the original founder of Murray’s New Orleans Bourbon Street Steaks and Oysters. Went for dinner and sampled a number of their dishes. Stand outs from the cafe's savory menu are the EARTH BREAD WOOD FIRE PIZZA and FISH PORCHARTRAIN! The pizza was made of wild mushrooms, roasted peanuts, mozzarella, parmesan crisps and salad. On the menu it said arugula but we were served with some fresh greens instead. Nevertheless, it was surprisingly good! Simple but flavorsome, not oily too! Another dish Id recommend you try is the fish porchartrain. Imagine deep fried battered white cobbler, shrimp etouffee, parsley walnut rice, and crispy spinach -- yum!!! The rice is something you can eat on its own. The fish was soft on the inside but crispy on the outside! My favorite for the night!Next on the table was the traditional New Orleans Seafood GUMBO. It may not look as appetizing as the other dishes on our table but this was good too. Consistency was perfect, not too thick nor too soupy. I dont mind having to order this even in this very hot part of the country. Ask the AC to be put on full blast, daydream youre in some cool part of the world while enjoying this warm dish! Lol. In contrast with the Gumbo, we were served with the colorful BOURBON STREET JAMBALAYA (which I thought was paella since they look pretty much the same). However, Ive learned that there are two basic differences. Types of rice and seasonings. The Paella uses a Spanish short grain rice with saffron and the Jambalaya uses a long grain rice with more of a creole seasoning. Traditional paella should be cooked on a fire, where jambalaya can be cooked stove top. Cafe Creole's version tasted great, serving size perfect for sharing. Last thing I tried was their EVERGLADES SEAFOOD JAMBALAYA made from creole casserole, onion, celery, bell pepper, calamari, andouille sausage, white shrimps and fish fillet. It was palatable but could be improved. For coffee lovers, the café’s must-try blends are the CREOLE AMERICANO for a full-bodied brew with a hint of chai. Also, those with a sweet tooth will love their BROWNIE MONSTER and the classic S’MORES FRAPPE. Im not a big fan of chocolates so I find these drinks a little too sweet for me. To tone the sweetness down a bit, its best to pair them up with their BEIGNETS (french doughnuts) - Delish!Overall, I loved our dining experience. Managed to witness the café’s daytime charm transform into a brasserie reminiscent of Bourbon Street’s cozier spots for dinner over drinks. I promise the place is pretty whichever part of the day you intend to visit. "Whether it's brunch with friends, people-watching over an afternoon cup of cafe au lait, or dinner over drinks, every moment becomes memorable in Café Creole." Come and visit them now!! I rarely find myself at Resorts World. In fact, the last time I visited was months ago, when I went to try Johnny Kahuku's Shrimp House, by Celebrity Chef, Pete Ayson! Which makes it rather fitting that my return to Resorts World Manila was to try the newest concept by the awesome Chef Pete, Cafe Creole.

Enjoyed every bite of the chocolate mousse cake and every sip of the hazelnut coffee. The place looked like that pretty dream cabin every kid wanted or in other words it is super ig worthy haha. Something very new and intriguing. Service was odd, sometimes they would pass by and pretend they didn't see your hand up high but oh well. I've heard of this place and was stoked to try and so i did and i will again but with the meals! 🍰☕

Nice interiors, friendly wait staff. Food on the overall was so-so. The shrimp etouffee pasta was just so ordinary. Our mistake also for being too adventurous and ordering their supposedly bestseller, the earth bread pizza which had a salad topping on its center. Really, who orders a pizza with a salad as a topping?  :)  Surely the balsamic vinegar dripping down from the salad did not blend well with the pizza.

This place has an amzing Oyster! I really love oysters and scallops and the Oysters here rocks! The place was okay, modern interiors and a good bar. Indeed a good bar. I had a pitcher of mojito and it quenched my thirst. The server was very accomodating and filled my.glass of mojito everytime I ran out. A great experience indeed.

I haven't tried much New Orleans cuisine to give a proper review taste-wise, but their Bourbon Street Jambalaya was just okay for me. While it had a generous amount of toppings, I suppose it reminded me a lot of paella that I felt silly to be disappointed that it didn't taste like one. Hahaha. This restaurant caught my attention due to their cake display, which was something I did not expect from a New Orleans cuisine place. Their Mississippi Mud Pie a la mode really took me by surprise! A fudgy brownie base with a layer of gooey marshmallow, topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce... goodness! I thought I'd feel overwhelmed after a few forkfuls but I ended up finishing it with gusto! Unexpectedly, the dessert became the star of the show. Ambiance-wise, there was a live band going on and gave it a Gerry's Grill sort of vibe, which I didn't really like. Menu is extensive and they even have their own cocktail bar. I'd return here, but only for the desserts!

Take your taste buds to a delightful meal as we welcome another food haven in the posh Resorts World Manila. This fresh concept from the Red Crab group takes your palette to world of wonders from its vast and tasty food choice line up. From pastry, beignet; gumbo; jambalaya; and of course, café au lait - every meal is a masterpiece. Let me start of with the very nicely decorated interiors - a marriage between homey and romantic with brick oven where you will see your pizzas being cooked right in front of you, and a delicious display of yummy cakes and breads! But of course, the main highlight of my visit would have to be the food! I simply cant get enough of their beignets perfectly paired with their Brownie Manster Frappe that's a sure hit to the sweet tooths out there. The Fish Porchartrain is a must have too! The thick slices of fish enclosed over a crispy breading lying over a large serving of flavored rice will definitely satisfy your cravings and your hunger! The fish is so soft that is practically slides off your tongue and straight to your stomach to bring your that light yet delightful experience! But on top of my list  is the Bourbon Street Jambalaya. The carefully crafted medley Cajun Chicken, Creole Shrimps, Sausage and Dirty Rice is as sinful yet tasty as it looks! This dish is a testament to the great culinary wonders in the kitchens of New Orleans!

I dont know about others, but our order kinda took longer than we expected. Most probably we waited for our food around 25-30mins. Good thing we weren't so hungry! On a positive note, though, their food is worth the wait! I loved dearly their Pit Fire Chicken. Tasty and perfectly cooked. ❤️ we ordered also this smaller version of their Bourbon Jambalaya however I forgot the name. Anyway, the Bourbon Jambalaya is good for 2-3persons and since its just 2 of us, they advised us this smaller serving. Ambiance is uniquely designed, with a smoking area inside. Urban-American is the theme Im getting from their interiors. When it comes to price, I cant say its expensive because their servings are big enough for two to three. But its not your ordinary priced menu. Its still higher than others. To put it safely, "sulit" ang price. 😊Ambiance - 4Food - 4Service - 3 Cost - 3

We had Earth bread, Classic Lasagna, Truffle carbonara and Hazelnut macchiato.Though the place looks fancy and would deliver such an awe-inspiring experience nothing else were in our thoughts but the feeling of being underwhelmed. There weren't anything special with the food we ordered and with that said, it's not worth the price paid.Everything lacked taste; we severed their salt and pepper in every dish. The lasagna was so basic. The carbonara didn't have the proper taste of the truffle which made everything was like tasting cream, the earth bread wasn't even toasted the right way.Basically, underwhelming.
