Made a booking in website to avoid the queue, but when we arrived none of the Aling Tonya’s (there were 3) knew about the booking even after I let them checked my reservation. We had to go to the 3 different stores to inquire about the booking and still ended up being walk-in customers. Good thing we were there early so it was’t difficult securing a seat.Had a fun time buying fresh seafood from the market. But it was disappointing when we let them do the paluto. We bought 2 crabs, and ended up with 3, because it looks like they switched our crabs with other customers. Although every thing is fresh, the way they cooked it is not very flavorful. We wanted steamed garlic crabs, but I don’t see any garlic. The baked scallops still needs a few more minutes in the oven. I have to admit they did a good job with the shrimps. On top of it all, it was an open resto so there were a lot of flies while we were eating and there were even vendors coming in and people playing music and asking for money. Not really an ideal place if you want to enjoy a meal in peace.

i had my lunch at aling tonya's yesterday with my family. we've been loyal customers of this restaurant for years now and i must say we are satisfied with the food they serve. however, what i dont like about them are the people especially those who get and weigh the food you brought from the market. it seems like they're not accommodating. my mom was still asking something from the beki personnel but he/she insisted that we should get inside because he/she has nothing to do with us anymore. i was shocked because she is physically beautiful for a beki who tries to look like a woman but she is rude. to be honest, i really dont know what happened to aling tonyas. before their service was really good. the people were really nice and accommodating. how i wish the management will bring back the happy ambience they used to have. -a not so happy customer😞

Seafood is cooked great and most are served in pans. One of the best restaurants to get food paluto. However, what brings this restau down are the food servers who are not accommodating. They should be reoriented regarding good customer service. The place is a bit messy too.

Very nice place for if you are looking for a Seafood "paluto" style! Masarap sila Magluto ng putahe na gusto mo :) Satisfied kaming lahat especially my Mama who requested to eat at Dampa! Tempura and the galric crab is the best!! 👍🏻😊 One thing sana Mas pagandahin pa ang ambiance para total package na at may pa pic a pic a sana na sa mga waiting lols! 😊

Cheap and good tasting "paluto". Cleanliness is so bad. The staff are friendly and attentive. We had 5 kilos of various seafood and costed us less than 2k (with 15 cups of rice plus coconut juice and soft drinks). Not bad for a family of 8 pax.Their buttered shrimp was tasty, chili crab was so-so. I found a small piece of paper box in the chili crab, maybe it was part of the packaging of any of the ingredients. When I had the salmon belly sinigang in miso, it was perfectly sour and I loved it! BUT, I FOUND A STRIP OF BLACK HAIR IN THE SOUP! I did not mention it while we were dining coz I know my whole family would feel disgusted. The baked tahong had overwhelming melted cheese on top.It took us almost 2 hours though waiting for table and for our dishes to be cooked. It was a holiday that day, so I understood. The faucet didn't have water. I hope they could improve on this part. Tap water for washing hands and cleanliness of the area and food are a must in food business.

I highly recommend Aling Tonya's for their cooking. They have good tuna belly, shrimps, tahong (mussels), and squid. Top 1 would be their Tempura, as in you MUST have it in your list. Adobong Pusit and Baked Tahong with Cheese are other excellent choices. Give your food some soda to swim into your belly; it just feels better!

The closest thing to a paluto that I’ve tried was Market Basket in River Park, Festival Mall. Although, even that is more restaurant than paluto. So, when I was invited by a Dampa “veteran” to try it out, I was immediately said yes!It was fun going around the stalls, looking for the freshest seafood, and haggling. Unfortunately, though, the excitement ended there, too. We ended up in Aling Tonya’s since it was one of the more popular palutos in Dampa (or so we were made to believe). We had Buttered Shrimp, Crispy Shrimp, Sinigang na Hipon, Baked Tahong, Calamares, Crispy Kangkong, and Ensaladang Mangga. As the dishes were being served, nothing was looking enticing so I was hoping that that it would at least taste good but... except for the Crispy Kangkong and Ensaladang Manga, all their dishes didn’t taste like anything! The Sinigang na Hipon was barely sour, the Buttered Shrimp was barely buttered, and the Calamares wasn’t even seasoned with either salt or pepper! It has always been my belief that food served in Dampas were delicious because the catch was fresh. However, no matter how fresh, when cooked without love (or even effort?), it will never be good enough.Because of how much we ordered, I left feeling full; but, definitely not satisfied.

I ate here with my family last week,Because we are craving for some fresh seafood.Walking and looking for foodesto in seaside macapagal is really tough. Kasi talagang pipilitin ka ng mga nagtatawag doon na kumain sa resto nila. AnywaysMy family decided to eat here at aling tonya'sAnd they even told us that they will give us discount. So we bought crabs, shrimp,Shells, lato and octopus ( forgot to take of the pictures because we are so hungry?)Anyway so we had to paluto theCrabs and shrimp to sweet and spicy chilli crabs and shrimp which is very nakakaasar because we realized that the sipit is gone. As in 2 lang ang natira when they serve it to us so to make the story short binawasan nila bago i serve sa amin. And it is too sweetAnd then i notice too the octopus was big when we bought outside, but when they serve it, only few pieces were left so they also (staff) took some of our orders and only serve us few pieces what we orderedAtleast we have the halaanThe soup was good i can really taste the spices and ginger but only few pieces of the shellcan only be foundWe paid for 4500 for everythingIncluding the small towels that they put on the table that we thought it was free.I saw cockroaches too a big one on the cieling and on the table as in hey pls tell your staff to clean the resto and spray some baygon pls. Wondering what the kitchen look like from the inside because in the dining area is not even clean there's a lot of roaches and smelly too.And what is more "nakakaasar" and really not nice on this resto is the way the servers look at you the one is the (tomboy na payat) the other is the lady i think she is also the cashier and the same time nag seserve sya.Everytime we request or order something they look at you like they're not even happy to serve you and they even just don't care.well one things for sure we are not going to eat in this resto! We feel like we have been cheated yo

My friends bought seafood outside and aling tonya's did the cooking. I did all the eating. LolGarlic buttered shrimp was definitely my favorite. To the point that we mixed the garlic-butter sauce with our rice (⚠️ BP alert 😥)Crabs was again, another favorite. We asked them to cut our crabs in hald so it would be easier for ua to eat. Again, it was so good that we mixed the crab sauce with our rice (⚠️⚠️ BP alert! )Pink Salmon sinigang was okay. I prefer sinigang that's naninipa sa asim. Unfortunately, this wasn't as sour and spicy (due to the ginger) as I wished it would be. Still it was delicious. Finally the adobong pusit.. it was disappointing. IDK why it was sweet. I like adobong pusit as natural as it can be: sauteéd garlic, onion, ginger, tomato, squid, then let it simmer for a while and kaboom- natural tasting adobong pusit.Anyway, over all rating is 3 since I feel it's still pricy since the paluto fee is like 300 per meal. Servers were attentive, fair enough. Ambience is meh - just like an ordinary restau but still tolerable for eating though. We walked out full and happy with soaring BPs. 😋

Our go to place for that seafood craving. Definitely fresh seafood served with that perfect home cooked taste. There’s a bit of a waiting time for your food to be served since its cooked as you order and it gets packed all the time. But it is definitely worth the wait. You’ll leave the place satisfied. We love their adobong pusit and their crab in oyster sauce.
