An unplanned meal, we were earlier so could actually get yourself a table for 3 around 5:15pm. Initial - epic bar with amazing Gin and Japanese whiskey selection. Ask about the exclusive cocktail or martini. Menu has been extensive and erred on the California convenience foodfor me, but has been actually equally influenced by NY and Parisian preferences. They basically took an excellent dish and include something special. The mushroom soup was intense. Instead of cream, plenty of pureed mushrooms, plus cut mushrooms and beef cheeks. I had the ocean bass. It had been cooked flawlessly with moist flesh and crispy epidermis, offered with corn (take off the cob) properly cooked and crunchy natural beans, a nice corn puree, and the excess special garlic foam (that i today want on everything). That they had received fresh black truffles that time, so my hubby had some on his chanterelle pasta dish. The waitstaff would stroll by the truffles and open up the glass cover up to take the stunning aroma. I really like waitstaff who love foods. An excellent surprise was the dessert. I had lemon pubs with lemon curd. Ideal lemon tart and lovely balance, however the crust on the bar had been light, sensitive and crispy in ways I've only experienced in Paris. Epic! The chef said hi there by the end of the food, and was quite enjoyable to speak to. Absolute surprise, that people are so content we found.
