Tokyo Tokyo have a big influence in me as a website reviewer because it is the very first Japanese diner/restaurant that I've eaten. Though after a decade of eating later, I know that Tokyo Tokyo doesn't really come close to the real thing, but it still gave me a glimpse of what has become my favorite cuisine of all time, next to Mexican. Over the years, Tokyo Tokyo have gone multiple changes in their menu, each have their own twists to keep things fresh. I think that their latest food offering is one of my most favourite yet. They introduced the Makirrito, a mixture of two of my most favorite dishes, sushi and burrito. It's basically an uncut sushi, but with a larger diameter than the usual sushi's they serve and with different flavors as well. As of this writing, they have two flavors, California Tempura and Samurai Karaage. California Tempura is the classic Califonia Maki we all know and love, but instead of ordinary crabsticks, we have tempura, tempura sauce, and wasabi infused japanese mayonnaise. The Samurai Karaage meanwhile has the deep-fried chicken Karaage, carrots, Karaage sauce and the same wasabi infused japanese mayo from the California Tempura. At their current prices(Php 100 for ala carte), it's actually a tough sell, specially if you can order a proper meal for Php 20-30 more, but if you don't have a big appetite, I highly recommend you try these out as it tastes really good and it's quite large compared to the 8 pcs. sushi you can buy there.Overall, Tokyo Tokyo is not going for the best Japanese restaurant, but rather, it aims to be an entry point for those who haven't tried yet the wonderful world of Japanese cuisine.

It's an actually pity that I have to rate this so low. We had ordered the Sumo Big Chicken Katsu, which came with 2 drinks, 2 rice, 4pcs prawn tempura and a big chicken katsu. Don't get me wrong the food was great, our chicken was moist and the batter crispy. It was really the service that left the bad taste in our mouths. The staff were bland except perhaps for one. Our food was late. They forgot to bring out our prawn tempura. It was a mess. The waitress who brought out our food asked "is your order complete?" And I was thinking shouldn't you know better since you have the slip.

If you're craving for Japanese food but you're on a tight budget, then this is the place you must visit in any mall.  I got a take out meal from all their favorites from tempuras and tonkatsus and it was just ok for me and  just to avoid hunger.  These are those fast food joints that are reliable to just satisfy hunger.

A very good place if you're on a meager budget ,I can say fast food level Japanese food.Been eating here many years ago if I want to satisfy my Japanese food cravings yet don't want to splurge that much. This morning after a heavy downpour I felt that I need to have a warm noodle or ramen soup so I headed to this branch.I ordered the snack size classic for ramen. When the noodles arrived it was hot though I want it piping hot but it's ok.Tasted the soup it was good yet no Japanese character in that broth, the noodles was also nice and tasty but it more of a Chinoy noodles or mami.Overall I was looking for that umami taste and authenticity but this soup is good made me feel better and at a very affordable price of Php115.Still a good place to dine if you're in a budget, don't expect much just enjoy .Love the sumo meals and red iced tea.🙂

Overpriced! Ah small 250ml bottle of water is 35 pesos! The pork katsudon is so thin and a big oart of the meat is the fat. Service is slow specially when you want a refill of your rice.
